The lake close To where we parked our RV

Great place to park your RVs. Super clean and friendly people. It's a little Crowded but the view of the lake is breathtaking.

Steps down to the Rogue River.

Every summer, our family stops here at the beginning of June on our way to Portland. During 2020, at the height of Covid this resort was like a little slice of outdoor heaven after being trapped indoors for a few months. This resort, is clean with friendly attendants that actively clean facilities, grounds, maintenance, etc. Some sites, provide a front row view to the Rogue River and you can hear the loud sounds of streams moving over rock... it's beautiful. It's quiet and I've seen mostly older couples/retirees here making the site quiet. It's driving distance to downtown Grants Pass and about 30 Minutes to the Rogue Valley/Applegate AVA if you are into Wine Tours. This place has become a yearly visit for us. We hope To some day visit in the Fall when the foliage and weather are gorgeous.

This was our 3rd time staying here. We love the spots right on the water. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean along with the facilities. See you next year!

This is hidden away from the main road but what a treat when you drive in. It just beautiful with trees, flower, lawn, and the river. We've been there 3 times and has always been clean, good service, and pet friendly. They help you pull or back in your trailer. They are very reasonably priced with full hookup. It has working showers, restrooms, WiFi, and a laundry matt incase you need them. They even texted me when there was a lot of wind and our awning was out so we could come and put in back in before it was damaged.

This sweet gem is right on the river in Grants pass. It is a little bit down the road from the main center of town. Close enough to go see and do some things in the area and far enough for some quiet. The sites are extremely close together. Our 34' with 3 slides was a tight fit.... but it fit! Concrete padded sites help to ensure you can fit. You can kick back along the river to relax or take a two hour drive up to Crater Lake for the day and do some hiking then come back to relax. The bath house was well maintained and clean. Water was warm..... sometimes too warm but I would rather warm than cold! We stayed here for one night passing through. We arrived at 4:00. Drove up to crater lake, looked at the lake and were back by 9:05. I highly recommend if you have the energy and the time!!

Very nice place right on the Rogue River. Quite, Clean and not to far from town. Camp hosts are very nice and helpful. This place can fit any size rig comfortably but still has plenty of shade.

This is a complete gem! We love this place. We've stayed a few times and is by far the best in town. Mostly shaded, nicely up kept landscape, friendly owners, clean spots, right off the Rogue River and is quiet and peaceful. There's a nice little path down to the river and a lot of space to sit, play and fish down there. I love that it's so quiet, you hardly hear anyone and nighttime is peaceful. The whole place is super clean too. They don't let people have a bunch of clutter out, and it is appreciated. Definitely recommend this place.

Just a great view of the Rogue River!!

This RV Park is right along the Rogue River in Grants Pass Oregon. There are quite a few sites that are right up against the river. We have stayed there twice for a week at a time & the views out of our fifth wheel are gorgeous. Full hookups with a laundry area & plenty of grass for your pets. They supply a picnic table which is great to bbq on & just sit & take in Gods beautiful area. Lots of geese, ducks & you can fish right there!!

Thank you Dawn! The trails were beyond amazing, there were places to take my dog that were super fun. All our neighbors were great as we made new friends in our little area. The showers and restrooms were very clean and the bathroom always kept warm for hot showers. Thank you Amanda! Who was also great! When booking our spot Cathy was also super helpful and accomodatin g. And their store prices were very reasonable, unlike most campsite general stores and they had everything we needed. This place is by far oiur most favorite place to stay....a definite 5 star plus. Also, their cabins and yurts are so cute and homey! we are already booking for next month! Thank you Dawn, Cathy and Amanda for a wonderful stay and looking forward to seeing you all again soon. !!!!!!!!!!!

This is a beautiful county campground. Located on the upper Rogue River, there are 38 campsites,…read more16 of which have water/electric hookups. There is a boat ramp and access to the Rogue River and Elk Creek. Campsites are $26/night for hookups, $22/night for no hookups. Sites are level and spacious. Camp host is friendly. When we first arrived, we realized our reserved site (#15) had no shade whatsoever, which was an issue because we were in the middle of a major heat wave with 90-100 degree heat. We were lucky, because we were able to find an unreserved site that had full shade. If you want shade, stay away from Site 15. Another issue with site 15 is that it is right next to the spot on the river where rafters pull out, so it gets a lot of foot traffic. There were people who parked their cars in what was our reserved site, even though it had a reserved sign on it. We were happy in our new site, but the beast of this campground is the road noise. The campground is located RIGHT NEXT TO Crater Lake Highway 62. We knew this when we made the reservations, but in reading the reviews no one had mentioned road noise. We didn't realize how much traffic there would be, especially truck traffic, all through the night. The highway curves near the campground, so it is a section where drivers are constantly braking, then accelerating as they go up the hill. Also, like many campgrounds, the vibe changes on the weekend. The weekend campers were noisier and messier. I have to say, in all the camping we have done, I have never been in a campground where campers left food, clothes, trash, etc. out all over tables and the ground the entire time they were in their sites. I'm not a neat freak, and I know we are here to relax because "we're camping", but I have never seen anything like it. Also, the dumpster near our campsite was full, and even though there was a sign asking people to take their trash to a nearby dumpster that was not full, people just dumped their trash on the outside of the dumpster, where it piled up. Such a shame. Quite an eyesore until the trash was finally picked up days later.

Also given its proximity to the host campsite, I doubt there's any incentive to get it fixed. The next park towards Crater Lake was allowing campers to use their facilities but they have stopped allowing it according to the host. The inner ring of campsites have water and AC but no sewage A very low key park that seems to cater mostly to locals at least this time of the year- Early May. We would come back

I honestly cannot understand how the ratings can be so high…read more I did not enjoy this experience AT ALL. As an another reviewer opined just six days ago--- it was-- "disgusting." I find it really interesting that there seems to be some sort of public consensus to not rate this place honestly. Do I have to fear the wrath of the owner or the Oregon Hippie Community or something? Well, bring it on. I had been looking forward to visiting Jackson Wellsprings for YEARS, having first read about it in the book Thru Hiking Will Break Your Heart. My cousin and I had reservations this summer, but we ended up canceling most of our trip. Now I know that she did not miss out. I arrived on New Year's Eve, after having called first to make sure tent camping would be allowed. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was very friendly and polite, and could not speak highly enough about the place. After paying $25 to camp in the meadow, I could use the rest of the facilities for an additional $10. Generally speaking, $25 is cheap to camp, especially for someone with less experience on where you can camp for free, or how to get the kinds of massive discounts I usually get. But $25 is a lot to put up a tent on a communal noisy, tobacco filled lawn. I would note that sharing a group site at camp 4 in Yosemite is actually more glamorous for only $10/person. I'm not sure why Jackson Wellsprings feels that sleeping on their lawn is worth so much. The bathroom was so terrible that I did everything I could to avoid using it. There was literally five inches of space between the toilet seat and door, creating an impossible situation for any female who is larger than Twinkie. I literally was not able to shut the door while using the toilet without risking the fact that my pants would wipe the entire underside of the toilet clean of its ample soil. None of the restroom water was filtered in any way. The water that I used to wash my hands stunk like sulfur until I was able to take a shower somewhere else the next day. The spa shower was the same way. The water smelled so bad, it made me really uncomfortable. I felt like I was bathing in sewage. As a nursing school dropout, before dropping out, I got the highest grade in my microbiology class at Sac State. In this class, we learned to identify several pathogens by smell alone. I've also worked in volcanic environments and am familiar with how hot springs normally smell gassy. But this place just smelled bad. Bad bad bad. Like a literal toilet and like bad bacteria. For the public soak rate of $10-15, you get access to ONLY ONE COMMUNAL HOT SPRING which is set up like a hot tub and does not feel "natural" at all. This one pool had a lot of visible dirt and sediment floating in the water. It smelled like human chicken broth. An old rich lady and her autistic grandson were loudly gossiping about how fat everyone else looked. The fancier springs pictured on the internet cost about $85/hour to rent, and even if I had the money and audacity to do this, I would not do so based on the lack of cleanliness in the public facilities. The bathrooms were not clean, and in fact, everything was so dirty and gross that I'm confused by the more positive reviews. I felt itchy, smelly, and stuffed up until I was able to get to the nearest state park for a proper shower in clean water. When I got out of the shower and smelled the clothes that had been on my body, I understood why I'd overheard a Walmart associate gossip to her peers in Spanish (a few hours earlier) that "that white girl stinks." Even after doing laundry, my swimsuit still smells like a literal pile of garbage. This might have actually ruined my swimsuit. I would never do this again and I definitely don't recommend it.
