River close by

I'm on a trip with my parents and new to RVing, but they have large RV sites and it is very clean and spacious. If you need to shower, they have multiple places to shower and clean bathrooms. They have a river close by where multiple people were fishing. Definitely would recommend this site.

If I could give this park a 10 I would. We love this park and have stayed here several times. Clean, Large Sites, Wide Sites, Free Fishing near by and right next door the the Jackson County Fairgrounds. We highly recommend that you stay at this park and enjoy the fire pits at every campsite!

The view at this park was beautiful. The staff was kind as we were only doing one night driving through back home my hubby found this RV park. Bathrooms were clean, love that each campsite had a picnic table. The little store inside, the office, but mostly were snacks, drinks and firewood, as each site had a little fire pit of its own. I do wish they would've carried a little bit more of RV personal items. The showers were OK. It was nice that they were private like your clothing and everything we're just inside one big shower room, no curtain and no way to keep any area of the floor really dry, but they were nice beautiful park to walk and see the sights, it was just too bad that the gentleman in space H1 let his what appeared to be a Labradoodle go across and do its business in someone else's space, and not even come back to clean it up. Shame on that person as it had a very nice area to walk your pets there. This dog was off leash when it was done he whistled it back he saw what it did so did I . Was too early to say anything to anyone in. The office was closed when we left . I'm not a big woman and wasn't brave enough to say anything to him and I should have. Picnic Tables looked like they could use a little bit of TLC, but we're usable. Would stay here again for the views for sure., but using it own shower next time.

It cost about $85 but it was well worth it. The river running through the campground is lovely and they have Adirondack chairs spaced out along it so you can sit and enjoy. It is off the highway about 6 miles so there is no noise from the freeway just the sound of the river. Very clean and dog/pet friendly. The owners are helpful and friendly. We were a bit worried by the road there (lots of fair sized holes) and the weather (California was experiencing a bad heat wave, and it was 105 here), and considered only staying one of our two nights. So so glad we stayed both nights. The wild horses were hanging out the whole time, and much of it in front of our trailer. I'm sure the heat drove them down to the river and tasty lawn. We also saw the blue heron, bats, and two river otters! Baby bird above the men's bathroom. Lots to see and enjoy. This place is pristine and quiet. We'd just come from a gross Thousand Trails and a loud state park. Coming here with the clean (and air conditioned!!) bathrooms and showers was lovely. The hosts were so nice. And it just felt quiet and relaxing, only punctuated by territorial stallions making a fuss. Nice additions are the giant shaded area with picnics tables and Adirondack chairs to hang out in- our space didn't have a tree so the shaded option was much appreciated. This is a way away from us, but we hope to come back and spend more time here. Also- shoutout to the hosts who spend a lot of time cleaning up horse poop to keep the roads clean for us!

The park is positioned right next to the freeway and the on ramp. The noise was unbearable for me especially trying to sleep at night. The first night allowed me no sleep, because the freeway and on ramp is SOOOO loud. I wised up the second night and used ear plugs, and that was the only way I was able to get sleep. And forget about sitting outside under your Awning sipping on a cold one trying to have a conversation with your loved one. You will find yourself indoors soon. I don't know why they did not install a sound wall, it makes no sense. If you're looking for a more quiet campground with hookups, consider Valley of the Rogue state park. It's set back farther from the freeway, they have trees and a mound as a noise barrier, and it really makes a difference. But, besides the noise issue, Rockpoint is a really nice park. Just come prepared.
