We found a site and booked it, made a deposit and took paperwork and restaurant suggestions. There was a slight problem with out booking when we got a call asking if we were still coming. We got it settled and had no problems after that. The sites was long enough for our trailer and truck in front. Thanks to Dean who helped direct us in because he got us farther back than I would because of a box in back. He was so kind and helpful!! The manager, Georgia and her husband, Al we the nicest people I think I have come across at a resort. The grounds has some full timers but all near and clean and nice. There's a dog area (non fenced) , a beautiful pond, fruit trees. Laundry, showers and a game room. I would recommend doing the Hellsgate boat trip!! If you do the brunch it has AYC drink mimosas and dinner AYC wine/beer. What a thrilling ride. Out there exit to the right a few miles down is an amazing restaurant called Riverview. And we also recommend the Taproom!

this was a disappointing stop after a wonderful 6 day roadtrip along the Organ coast…read more placed our reservation thinking we paid for a lovely riverside camp site. come to find out upon arrival the site was a gravel unmarked drive way with the very loud sound of the freeway. not sure of our site we drove back up to the office of course, knowone there (office hours 10 to 3pm) called office manager Amanda and recieved a very unwelcoming response to our question and verification of camp site. drove back to site , hooked up sat down, got back up unhooked and spate gravel out of there...so worth leaving our $64.50 behind.

The Harley motorcycles revving up their motors and loud traffic all night long didn't make for the best nights sleep to say the least, however, again, I can't blame the owners or the managers. It's right in the middle of the city. I don't understand why there aren't noise ordinances in place and why is speeding and LOUD motorcycle revving "ok?" all day & night? The park is clean and provided all the needs. They were able to fit us in with a 24 hour notice. Thank you for that!

The park is positioned right next to the freeway and the on ramp. The noise was unbearable for me especially trying to sleep at night. The first night allowed me no sleep, because the freeway and on ramp is SOOOO loud. I wised up the second night and used ear plugs, and that was the only way I was able to get sleep. And forget about sitting outside under your Awning sipping on a cold one trying to have a conversation with your loved one. You will find yourself indoors soon. I don't know why they did not install a sound wall, it makes no sense. If you're looking for a more quiet campground with hookups, consider Valley of the Rogue state park. It's set back farther from the freeway, they have trees and a mound as a noise barrier, and it really makes a difference. But, besides the noise issue, Rockpoint is a really nice park. Just come prepared.

We only stayed one night since most sites do not have full hookups. We did not use the restrooms or showers, so I cannot comment on those. We were worried and a little on uncomfortable when we saw the giant Confederate Flag being flown by the first camper in the park. We are moving down the road to another RV park today.

The showers and restrooms were very clean and the bathroom always kept warm for hot showers. Thank you Amanda! Who was also great! When booking our spot Cathy was also super helpful and accomodatin g. And their store prices were very reasonable, unlike most campsite general stores and they had everything we needed. This place is by far oiur most favorite place to stay....a definite 5 star plus. Also, their cabins and yurts are so cute and homey! we are already booking for next month! We are so grateful to the owners that they did not cave to pressure, they dropped their affiliation, and are keeping this campground as a beautiful destination to be cherished. It happens. We could only use so many things at once. We got to a new park today and everything is fine. So not sure what happened if it was us or them. Do with that what you will.

The campground itself was clean and well kept. The owners were so nice and very accommodating to any of our needs. People were laughing and just having a great time. Couldn't have asked for anything better. They even have a little store there that you can get anything you may have forgotten to bring. I will not only return again, but also refer anyone I know to stay a weekend or longer there. They have cabins and even covered wagons you can stay in. One of the best places around.
