Mediocre. Charges $20 for full service and tire shine but they skip the tire shine. I called them and the lady said package 1 does not include tire shine. Please look at your sign and website because it includes tire shine. What is that then? I am not sure if I am going back. Need to look for an alternative car wash. read more

I got the #2 full service with the under blast. The car wash it self was pretty quick they vacuum then put it through the wash park it until the helpers come along and finish. They cleaned inside and out which took a little while but all in all they did a good job. read more

Spent 25 bucks on a package 2 wash. Overall I was satisfied. I did however have to call them back over to properly wash my rims. They were clearly not done correctly who is disappointing considering a package 2 is a wash and tires. I know they are working on volume but I think dirty rims after a car wash is a bad thing. Woman came over and cleaned them properly. Afterwards all was okay with the exception of the swirly marks on the windshield from using an unclean rag to wash it. Not the best car wash but the only good one in town. I prefer an all hand car wash by professionals who care a litter more. Go here buy don't expect to be dazzled. read more

I absolutely love the job they do. The prices are reasonable. I live about 30 mins from Riverhead and still will take the drive to Riverhead Auto Wash so I know for sure I will get a car wash above my expectation. The owner and family are great people as well. I highly recommend them. read more

Horrible time today with a car wash that took over 2 hours and my car is still dirty. I don't mind the long line, but my car was then ignored while other cars were dried and worked in before mine, when I complained I was told this was not true, I then complained again. The back of my car was not even cleaned or vacumed properly. read more

Four stars because the end result , my car came out really clean. But not because of the three clowns in the back vacuuming. After they got done vacuuming I looked at the mats they didn't even move them to vacuum. I said something to them and he just pointed towards the front. After about a half hour wait getting through the car wash the three girls in the front did a magnificent job on my car, and had to re-vacuum because of those three idiots. That's why I gave it four stars , But my advice to the owner? I was there today October 18, at 5 PM whoever those guys were in the back they are useless. Useless! read more

Very rude staff! I had a free car washcoupon from my dealership after a service in February. When I went to the car wash during that week (in February) I found that the place was CLOSED! I found it weird since it was not snowing or anything and I really couldn't figure out WHY it was closed. Anyway, I don't live in Riverhead or nearby so it took some time for me to get back there. So I recently went back, with my now expired coupon, and tried to explain to the staff that when I went in February they were closed. The reply I got back was "we don't close in the winter" (with a nasty attitude)!! Ummm, ok I clearly went there and you were closed! Are you implying that I am lying?? Now I know the coupon I had was expired and thought it was worth a chance to ask if they would still honor it, I was actually expecting them to say no. However, what I wasn't expecting was RUDE staff and the staff implying that I was making it up! When we asked the manager it was obvious they were closed some days during the winter and he still wouldn't honor the coupon. Like I said I had no problem with them not honoring my expired coupon, however what I did have a problem with was the rude staff member behind the counter. Absolutely awful, waste of time and money. I went in for a basic interior and exterior car wash, I added $1.50 rubber mat cleaning. When I was approached by the car wash attendant he asked me what package I would like and I said, " package #1." I have a compact Jeep and no where is it listed that there is a Mid size vehicle charge of $3.00. My total came to $32.00. That was a little more than I wanted to spend for a simple wash and vacuum with no wax. I proceeded to pay, used their $3.00 coupon...the total was $29.00. After 20 mins, I see one of the car wash technicians flagging me down with his rag, he barley spoke English. I handed him a $5.00 tip, no thank you, not even a smile. I left, drove back home which is approximately 25 mins away. I look in my back seat and I notice there are footprints from my kids on the back seats (keep in mind the kids weren't with me when I went to the car wash) the floors weren't vacuumed and I found garbage under the seats and the back seat cup holder was sticky. I proceeded to call the car wash and was put on hold for 10 mins. I spoke with Pat the manager, I explained to him that the carpets weren't vacuumed and that there were footprints on my seats and garbage under my seats. Pat responded with, "what type of garbage?" I was shocked! I then replied, " What do you mean what type of garbage? Does it really matter?" He said, "if it's plastic we leave it there because some lady flipped out on us about throwing out her recyclables." I then explained that there should be a sign that says WILL NOT PICK UP GARBAGE! What I want to know is, why are they charging an arm and a leg for 1/2 ass job?? He told me I could come back and they'll fix it, I told them I was already home (25 mins away) he said, "well come tomorrow ", I told him, "I have work. " I said ,"Friday was good, he said, "ok." I asked if he needed my name he said, "no." In the end I decided not to return, I don't trust them with my vehicle. I like this place better now that it has new owners. They are very friendly and did a great job on my car. Didn't miss any spots, everything was like new. My experiences have been great every time I've gone. A good car wash takes time. If you're looking to be out in 10 minutes then go to a self washing place and get what you pay for. Worst car wash ever!!!! Car came out sat in the sun for 15 minutes dried full water spots and left with a chemical imprint in rear quarter panel of car. Had complained to Pat when sitting there dirty . Car was not near done 1/2 hr after coming out of wash. Left and called Pat told unhappy told will not give bad review if reconciled problem. States he will be there bring car back! Get there he left! Comes back and his stated best guy squirts car down with water bottle full of liquid wax. Car looks like crap still states water spot imprint whitish color cannot be taken out that it came in that way. Pat states looks like hit by truck tire. Car is like new garaged 81 k Audi s6. Made police report incase Pat was right paint ruined. By his company's incompetence. Fortunately for me I waxed out once home. I've used the Riverhead car wash here an there for many years without an issue. Today, as I watched my truck being cleaned in the machine, it stopped. Water stopped coming out and the bristles kept moving on my back door. I immediately went to the manager and voiced my concern. He said, it should be fine but to let me know if I notice anything. Once dried, I noticed a bunch of scratches on the back door. I immediately went back to the manager who came outside and instantly said that their machine didn't do it. The owner came over with a big attitude, accused me of "pegging him for money". I couldn't believe my ears. I told him I wanted the scratches fixed and he refused telling me to "go scratch". I will Never go there again and warn against it. There isn't much to a car wash until there's a problem. This was my first time with a problem and sure will be the last problem at Riverhead car wash. I'm reporting them to the better business bureau and currently seeking legal advice. What a terrible experience! read more
