i went to car wash today my mats in the back seat was not clean and the floors was not vacuum at all

What is now the North Fork Car Wash is perhaps one of the worst car washes I've ever been to. No clear direction when you pull in, and the price is outrageous: $71 for a car wash is absurd! They completely removed the human element from the car wash too - it's now a drive through which I was utterly unprepared for, no one is available inside for any snack purchases (the two vending machines were out of service), and my car has now been sitting unattended waiting to be cleaned for over 15 minutes while I wait with no one giving me any idea of when it'll be started, let alone finished. Stay away!! This location was never great; now it's abysmal. The new ownership should be ashamed. read more

New owners kept the old pricing (46 dollars for the silver service) but reduced the cleaning staff by 2/3. I brought my truck in for a wash yesterday, Thursday at 2 oclock and didn't get out of there until 4:30, 2.5 hours. The owners don't care about your time, cancel your monthly service like I did, they're penny wise and pound foolish and will lose money in the long run. read more

To be fair, I guess I decided to get a car wash on the same day of the week everyone else did after the snow we'd had a few weeks back. I joined a line of other gross looking cars waiting to get washed, on the "non-member" line (which was moving just a smidge faster if I'm honest). There were around 10-12 cars in front of me, but the line was moving and there were a ton of staff members working so I figured, how long could this take? Cut to 50 minutes later, and my car finally arrived at the beginning of this line to be serviced. Why did I continue waiting in line? Dear reader, I was boxed in. There was no turning around. No asking the 10 cars that had joined the line behind me to kindly back up. No, we were all in this together now, for better or worse. All of this waiting would've been fine if this car wash had been 1. Reasonably priced or 2. Thorough. An hour and a half later, I'd paid $40 for the inside and outside of my car to be cleaned, and left with streaks all over. Three stars because the workers here are working their absolute butts off... but when the line is this insane the pressure to just get cars off the lot is too high. read more

I just left there...Absolutely, the worst car washI have EVER been to. The Boy Scouts would have done a much better job. I used to go to this carwash when in Riverhead, they had always done a good job. Under new management now.The car wash kept breaking down repeatedly. The results were abysmal. When it was finally my turn, I requested the Platinum package, but they charged me for the Bronze package instead. The lack of organization and poor customer service were unacceptable. This car wash is a rip-off. I paid $83 for a full wash and they gave me back my truck dirty. I went back a second time, they only spent about 10 minutes on it and it came out the same. So I went to the car wash just now. Paid $54, tipped $5 to the vacuum guys, tipped $5 to the finishers. Sat for 40 minutes, no one touched the car. I unfortunately had to leave. Make sure you have at least an hour to spare when you go. I know they'd like to have more employees, but you know. read more

paid 61 .00 for a car wash today July 21, 2025 worst car wash. left the car to dry in the sun for 15 minutes. Left it to be cleaned on the side 15 minutes. Young lady attempts to dry and spray wheel polish to 3 cars the same time. i got there at 12 and had to leave by 1:15pm. it was the worst experience i have ever had at a car wash. New owners thought it would be a good MONEY GRAB for them to sell memberships that result in people with the monthly car wash "package plan" to go FIRST in front of people who GOT THERE FIRST just because they subscribed to a monthly wash plan so now people who don't have membership even though they are paying FULL PRICE for a car wash now have to WAIT for the membership people to go first! Total bullshit! First come, First Served! One day I took my car there when not too many cars were there but then cars started coming in after me and even though they vacuumed my car it "sat" while the memberships went before me! I counted 5 cars that went into the wash before me! I don't have that kind of time to waste and their new scheme is unfair! I used to have a monthly plan called EVERWASH before business was sold and ended up canceling it because I didn't use it every month to be of benefit so I was LOSING money and those owners didn't play the game the new owners are playing and business was great for them as car wash always busy, there was no need to play the membership game! NEW OWNERS SHOULD GET RID OF THAT BS THEY ARE PULLING. I will now go elsewhere as my time is valuable and won't be unfairly treated as a second rate customer! Don't go there unless you have an hour and 45 minutes to get your car washed. They had four people cleaning cars seems like they cut the staff tremendously. Customers were getting in their cars before it was even done and driving off. They had cars in the wash bay stopped mid because the line was backed up. highly recommend using a different car wash. place used to be great I regret purchasing the monthly wash. read more

The new owners obviously don't care about their long time customers. After 5 pm, even though it stays light out till 730pm it is only express service( outside only) I have been a member for years paying 70$ a month unlimited washes. I will be canceling my membership! read more

Place is now officially a complete cluster f$&@. They've sold their "memberships" resulting in two lanes to enter. One move slowly and the other not at all. Problem is when you pull in you're likely stuck if someone comes in behind you and commits you to the "wait". At least an hour to even get to the guy who asks what kind of wash do you want. Another hour to get the wash and dry. Soooo backed up they are that the cars typically dry before someone comes along to "dry" it. Now you've got water spots for $50!!! One time I actually had a car hit me from behind in the wash tunnel because nobody came to drive my car out when done and the car behind me literally was pushed right into my car!!!! Didn't even know that was possible. Owner didnt believe it until he checked his own security cameras. You want this many washes then HIRE THE PEOPLE TO EFFICIENTLY get the cars in and out. If you can't get the help scale back in coaxing people into your location where they are captive for hours. A F$&@ing joke and mess this place is. read more

Streaks everywhere, didn't wash the back bumper even after I told the manager. Oil sheen all over parking area. Now I have to clean the oil off the car mat, brake and gas peddles. Now I'm giving them one star. I just had a reply from the owner stating that I wanted extra services for free. If you look at my receipt which comes to $33.00 minus the posted amount on the sign $26.00 that is $7.00 more. The only difference is on the receipt it list wheel brite & the silver sign list SEALER WAX & SIMONIZE TRIPLE POLISH. I'm not saying I want things for free, what I am saying is they used a bait & switch. All I asked for by the way was a regular exterior wash & tire shine. I'm not an idiot & it's not my first time in a car wash or this particular car wash. If I wanted the whole package I understand it's less expensive to get one of your packages. I'm also not one of those cheap people looking to nit pick over a couple bucks. I was genuinely shocked when I saw 33 bucks for a exterior car wash. I don't even enjoy writing negative reviews but when I see an owner of a business insult me saying I'm looking for free service I get annoyed. I honestly would not write this if it wasnt a big deal but literally after i got my car back first off my tire was flat went to firestorm and they told me my tire pressure valve was torn! What the hell i spent 50$ on a car wash that made me spend 130$ to get my valve replace and the job they did was terrible on my car my carpet wasnt even cleaned there was still hair and dirt everywhere. I wish i could get my money back but unfortunately i just lost 180$. Please maybe you would have a better experience but im advising you to not risk it. read more

Last year I moved out East from Fresh Meadows, Queens. I now live in Eastport and pass another car wash in Westhampton Beach just to come to Riverhead to have my cars washed. There is no comparison with quality of the service. Riverhead Auto Wash does an excellent job. They dry all the door jams, the roof of my SUV, and trunk lid. The inside of my windows are clean every time. I always take the "Bronze" selection from the menu with my front mats washed. I have several cars in my family. They are all taken there to be washed. The girls who wipe down the cars are extremely helpful and thorough with their final touches. It is worth my driving the 12 miles just to come to RIVERHEAD Auto WASH. Words cannot explain how incredible and how amazing this car wash experience truly was. The owners are so nice and so friendly and they truly care about offering the greatest experience for you. My car was truly spotless and you could tell the workers really cared and put in so much time to really make sure your car is really clean. I wish I could give them more stars. These guys went way above & beyond making my Jeep look like it's brand new out of the dealership. You get what you pay for but for the price(s) they have for the service they provide from the cashier to the people cleaning the interior I recommend. I've always been extremely happy with the job they do in the past, but I brought my car in yesterday for a "Silver" pkge, inside and out. When I got home I had to clean it myself. Still actual dirt on the upholstery that I took off easily with a couple of swipes of an Armor All wipe. The back interior had not been touched, had to wipe that down and vacuum it out. Got in early this morning to drive and realized the interior of the windshield was one big streaky mess. I really can't believe this, I was there for over an hour and spent 36$.
