There are also some awesome balance equipment to try! Something else to note: This park is not well shaded in the evenings. I brought a 3 year old to the park and while she had a lot of fun, it was quite challenging for her to climb on much of the equipment. There are also only two small slides which weren't easily accessible for her. They have a few toddler swings and a handicap accessible swing that she had fun trying!

There are two awesome and obscure shaped monkey bars, many spinning seats, and large slides! They also have a great area with various giant musical instruments to play. On the far side of the playground there is a splash pad. It was still on and running today! This park is wide open and had so much space for the kids to run and play. I'm an adult and I wanted to play! Kids of all ages, outside, playing, laughing! There is a nice covered picnic area with water fountains (including a tall one to fill up a bottle), and a paved, covered path to the restrooms. There is a Men's, women's, and family restroom. There is a lot of shaded areas for parents to sit and relax while the littles wear themselves out.

So have to grab the moments before it hits. This day was a wind storm right before the bitter cold was back. I walked around and even walked the trails with a friend. So good to be outside. The flowers were lovely but the wind was fierce. This park does such a great job keeping everything lovely which I so appreciate and its a fav of mine for years. So many special memories here. Please be courteous and dont pick the flowers. This isn't your yard and if everyone picked just one there would be none for the next to enjoy. I saw parents promoting their children to pick flowers and filming it. . This is so selfish and rude. Am I wrong?

I was driving by today as I was out running errands and decided to stop by for a brisk walk in the 27 degree weather. You could walk the loop or it connected to a paved trail that that went into the woods further and connected to a trail along the road. The trail along the road you could go either left or right and there were people jogging. I'm not sure if the trail into the woods is technically part of the park or not I would assume not but it's nice to know it does connect. This park is very close to the Austin Boulevard and not too far from the Dayton Mall area

Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center is a blast. We came here for a private event and my family…read morethoroughly enjoyed themselves. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet and well maintained. Not only does the center have a great pool but also 2 water slides, diving board, a splash area, and water rock climbing wall. The different areas of the pool is divided by water ropes and there are lifeguards assigned to each area to ensure the safety of patrons. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas if you want to read or take a cat nap while there. There is a picnic area and also a small playground and sand volleyball if that tickles your fancy. The bathrooms were spotless and had showers and changing areas. Due to the event being private we had catered food but there is a concession stand to buy snacks and food while at the center if need be. This is a great place to bring the whole family for water fun!

Maybe going during the middle of the week when people are at work helped. My kids loved the big pool area with all the fun tools and toys. They also likes the slide, but I would suggest they have a lifeguard who is comfort with kids and telling them to get in line be there because the poor kid who was there was not at all. I thought the price was good for non-residents. A little high, but I get it. I liked that they didn't care about you bringing food in and had plenty of grass, shaded spots to sit with my kids. They have also added a little wetlands area nearby to explore. The park features a splash pad, a gym structure, swings, tennis courts, baseball fields, picnic shelter, bathrooms, and plenty of green space. My kids enjoy the splash pad and have become braver with it. They also like the playground. The slides and ground get really hot during the summer so I'd wish they'd do something about that. I think the playground is a decent size, but pretty small during the very busy summer months. I like that the splash pad is open and my kids can run around and still be easily spotted. They have ample parking even with daycare/camp buses.

Even my GPS couldn't find the address! You just have to know it is across the street from Bills Donuts, up the hill a little and to the right. There is a concrete sign at the corner that lets you know it's time to turn! The park itself is a decent size with a lot of variety within it's walls. You can play ball, take a stroll in the grass, enjoy their really fun looking water park area I am assuming comes on once it is hot enough outside. There is a really modern well maintained play area for kids with a working water fountain (pretty rare these days, eh?) and really unique elements within the play structure like the huge rocking booth see-saw for example. I would have gone crazy for this place as a kid! I took a ton of photos and posted them to the listing, if you want to get a better idea of the play structure. It really is wonderful, I highly recommend a visit! We drive 30 minutes out of our way for it once a month, and it's always an enjoyable experience.

The new playground is AMAZING! It's so big and has a lot of cool features like a zip line, lots of climbing features, different slides, and areas for smaller kids. They have pickleball courts now, which look nice. There are still basketball hoops. The tennis courts are getting redone this year as well. In the summer the amphitheatre has concerts and plays for free. A good amount of parking on none event days, but they have you park across the street on the grass too.

We usually do about 3-4 concerts here that vary between a Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Queen cover bands and a kids show that tends to be Disney! Yeah! Being a Disney fan I love that they offer this. Parking is abundant and getting out can be a tad bit longer for bigger shows but in general just be patient. You just attended a free show.

Miamisburg has just spent the last year updating the entire park at Sycamore Trails. It has ungone…read morea major facelift. We have two new car entrances at Maue and the other one Heincke by the pool. The original entrance is now a pedestrian entrance. There is a roughly 2 mile paved path through the park and along Heincke/Maue. The disc golf course was updated. A new pond was added with catch and release fishing available. A beautiful and big new playground was added inside the park. At the top of the park on Maue are brand new tennis, pickleball, and basketball courses. There are also an adult and kid workout area including a timed 50 yard dash! There are brand new bathrooms inside the park and at the top. There are also two new picnic shelters in the same places. The sledding hill is still accesible. We also have new access to the creek with some new fossils signs coming in the next year. The trails are supposed to be more open and clearer to follow now as well. I cannot wait to make more memories with my family and friends at this beautiful new park!
