Walked out the door decided to wear my mink coat. By the time I reached work, I went to take my…read morecoat off, looked down and there was a 2 inch rip in the sleeve of the coat. As anyone else would do i began to panic. Since I work in midtown Manhattan , I decided to go on yelp and search fur repair before the situation became worst. I read the reviews and decided this is where I would bring my coat. I walked inside the building (it's in the same building as mood fabrics) they are located in the lobby. The location is the size of a bedroom with all kinds of furs from top to bottom. The old man that owns it is the nicest person ever. Anyway , he told me to remove my coat so he could get a better look at it. He said I can fix this right now as you wait. I let him know my break was only 20 mins . He gave me a loaner fur vest, so that I could walk back to my job. Returned back on my lunch break to retrieve my coat. He did such a GREAT job !! You cant even tell where the rip was . The price was great and if anything ever happened , I would go right back to him.. Great experience

I remember the blistering cold day that I found Kersner Furs! It's 2 Years Later and I keep going…read moreback and giving Kersner Furs all of my coins!!! My full length Fur just wasn't looking the same and then I realized there are businesses in specializing Fur Products... It is run by a husband and wife and they provide exceptional customer service and their prices are pretty reasonable. It is about a 35 minute drive from my home, but I keep going back. They charge $60+ for a basic cleaning and glaze. The price goes up depending on the extra work that needs to be done, if you have any rips and tears etc. During my most recent trip I picked up a full length brown fur coat, a waist length brown fur coat, a white waist length fur coat, an orange fur headband and a red shearling. 3 out of 5 of these prices were in pretty bad shape; rips, tears and dirty. Oh the Shearling was so torn they had to add leather patches to the shoulders. I was excited about it, not going to lie! It was like getting my coat customized... a bit lol. My total was around $420 for cleaning and repairs... Awesome!!! I also dropped off a fur hat, fur ear muffs and a fur vest! Until next Kersner Furs!!! Oh! They also sell Furs and create customers Furs!

I have purchased from this seller now on four different occasions. The following are facts that I…read moremust state to be objective in my analysis of customer service, delivery time, and quality of product. 1) Customer service: Living in Texas for more than most of my adult life I had forgotten how gruff those on the East Coast are. Especially those in New York. The first item I purchased was two years ago and it was a biker jacket with a fur hood. The customer service representative called me several times and we talked, and he inquired about my build to modify the cut of the jacket. Though I thought he was pretty brash, I remembered Southern courtesies are often lost on those in the North. I hold no grudges against the man he was doing his job and did it well. 2) Delivery time: They send you a picture of the label and provide the window of the delivery. It was on target and in a timely manner. Kudos for their efficiency in delivery. 3) Quality of Product: I purchased this jacket to wear when I ride my motorcycle here in Northern California. If you are familiar with the bay area the weather changes rapidly and generally doesn't get warm which is above 70 until the fall. This jacket has saved me from frostbite on many occasions as when riding a motorcycle, you are generally 20 degrees cooler or more than what is posted on the Weather Channel. Two years later it is still my overall favorite jacket to wear year-round except in the pseudo summer which comes in the September/October time frame. Recommendations: 1) Make accessories to compliment the jacket i.e. gloves, hat, or scarves. 2) Footwear for motorcycle riders with leather and fur will go a long way for many of us in colder regions who can ride year-round. It is quite difficult to find accessories to compliment the jacket and give it the full effect. Overall, thank you for a great product. My other purchases I have made in 2024, and I will update their performance after I receive them. 5 stars for an excellent past product.
