Our instructor also gave a few variations throughout the class for me because I have a physical limitation due to an old injury. If I didn't work 40+ hours a week, I would have signed up on the spot. Hoping that changes for me soon because I absolutely loved the way Pilates engaged all of my muscles without being boring or overwhelming. It was a fun class which made the time fly by. I didn't take any pics because the studio was full of people but it was beautiful, inviting & very clean. Marcie understands the human body but more importantly she understands MY human body. I also do classes at the studio. Mat pilates with Mary has proved to be very effective for core strength. Gentle yoga with John is a very calm wind down from a busy day and a great "date night" activity for couples. The yoga class was great and the star of the show was the instructor Hanna. I was in the beginner class and the pace of the class was good enough that I could keep up. The lighting and music was perfect for some yoga although the music kept getting interrupted ever so often. Both Hanna and the person assisting her went around the class correcting everyone's postures. She was funny and very encouraging which is always a plus. The cherry on top was the quick neck massage at the very end, which I did not expect! Gotta love those surprises.
