There is a huge splash park that looks amazing but since we visited in December, we only took advantage of the pickleball courts a couple of times and walking around the neighborhood. Can't wait to visit again in the warmer summer months and check out the pool/splashpark. Pickleball courts were really busy but we always seemed to find an open court. It had rained before we arrived and they have these giant mops that people were using to mop up some of the standing water to make it safer and less slippery. All the people we encountered there are super friendly and helpful in returning a stray ball that might have wandered over to their area. There is also a water station where you can get a drink or refill your water bottle.

There is a centralized Nocatee Town Center with several family orientated gated residential sections. A Splash water park, walking trails, canoe & kayak launching area and much more. I'm back this weekend to spend time with family in Nocatee and dont even recognize the geographics. Took a night drive on a golf cart to visit a few sights (noticed that there are three Publix Supermarkets and multiple schools) and ate really good pizza at a neighborhood pub called Treylor Park. Only twenty minutes south to St Augustine for the day. Great area with gators too.

Not to say there's not something there that might interest someone else, but I mostly saw older romance books. As for the gym, I can't say I'm very impressed and it's not large. There are treadmills and stationary bikes with televisions set up for you to watch while you exercise, but the weight equipment is very limited. For me, the gym would do just fine, but for hubby (he lifts a good bit) the gym doesn't even come close to meeting his needs. So, if you're a lifter like my hubby is, you'll need to get a gym membership somewhere else. The restrooms for the pool/gym area are clean and well-appointed. There are regular showers as well as a steam shower, a changing area, and lockers. Although, I must say I'm confused by the lockers. They are there, but there are no keys in them. How one is suppose to use them, I'm not sure. I asked a resident who has lived there for quite some time and she said she had no clue where to get the keys or how one was to gain access to them. ?? You get more of a sense that your living in a more quiet part of town such as Ponte Vedra bc of the peace and quiet, as well as the 24/7 security and gate that you must either have a barcode sticker on your vehicle or go through the visitor lane and speak with security to get access into this hidden gem! As far as amenities go their is plenty to do. They have a pool with water fountain and outdoor jacuzzi accompanied by plenty of comfy lounge chairs for those who are looking to get a tan, they also have plenty of tables and chairs with shaded umbrellas that are perfect for those who want to make a full day of the pool and bring along a cooler packed with food and drink, and for those who want that extra bit of luxury they have a few covered marble huts complete with ceiling fans and tables and chairs. The best part is you don't need to worry about your kiddos wandering into the pool area with out you and accidentally drowning bc it's completely gated in and you need a fob to open get in! They also have awesome locker rooms that offer regular showers as well as a state of the art steam shower room, and hand washing areas as well as the obvious access to toilets, plus a huge changing area complete with benches by the lockers and outlets for all your hair dryers, etc. Then theirs the fully stocked gym with t.v.'s at pretty much every stationary machine in the gym, and if you just want to read a book in a cozy chair while your spouse or friend works out they have that as well! Then theirs the main salon where you can go hang out and play pool with you friends or whomever you meet here, might I add it's a very nice pool table...lol! They also have a ton of comfy seating in their as well as a huge flat screen tv hanging on the wall, plus a huge kitchen that is perfect for any time you want to though a party or wedding! I've actually seen people have their weddings here, and I'm not joking. All you have to do is call the office ahead of time and reserve the date that you want to hold your upcoming bash and then they will ask for a deposit in case anything gets broken, did I mention your party comes with a security guard to make sure only your guests and the people that you want their are allowed in on that day! everyone else is sol from the main salon on your party day! Once your party is over and everything is back in it's place the guard will do a run through with you before he locks it up at the end, ensuring you get your deposit back! $100.00 is a lot better of a price for all the stuff you get and can do at this space vs. other places I've seen! Then theirs the tennis courts and basket ball court, as well as all of the walking trails, not to mention if you have a dog you don't have to worry about buying your own poop bags as they have them located throughout the complex hanging above the doggie garbage waste baskets. Then theirs the location your right across the street from the Tinseltown theater and all of the restaurants, plus if you go straight across Southside Blvd. you have the Publix shopping center and CVS. If you go towards Gate parkway you can either go to the Tapestry park shops and restaurants, ie. Starbucks, III Forks, Orange Leaf, Jacksonville Running Co., or you could be at the St. John's Town Center just as fast. When I bought this condo it was a foreclosure, and the previous owners took every appliance that they could remove, but now that I've been here for three years I've made this condo my own! In the time I've been here the only time I've seen a fire/rescue vehicle was when someone is sick, and not for violence, that's a big plus in my book. One last thing I forgot to mention was that they have trash pick up three times a week as well so if you don't like taking your trash to the dumpster, here they will come to your door step three times a week and take as many bags of trash as you leave them!

Those roof and mold issues were resolved years ago. Nice covered parking garage to protect your car and the whole is community Is gated and security monitored. Pool is immaculate and a wonderful spot for bikini sunning. 2 and 3 bedrooms sell quickly in the community due to HIGH Demand. Low monthly assoc. Fees for a high end condo. When we were apartment hunting in Jan 2019, the leasing office was persistent in asking for reviews so take The five star reviews with a grain of salt. The good: The apartments are beautiful & the maintenance guy (Max) is very responsive/kind/friendly. If a light bulb blows out- they will replace it for you. Few apartments in the general area have a yard and a garage- as dog owners this is mainly why we chose them. The bad: The apartments are located on Atlantic Blvd which is VERY busy. We lived in the 100 block and there was not ever a time of time where we couldn't hear the traffic. It was hard to enjoy our yard because we were constantly pestered by walkers by on how much rent was etc. I would not recommend renting a unit in the 100 block of the community. Pest/Lawn maintenance was a struggle for us- you pay for this monthly but more often than not our lawn was dead (they don't seem to water) and full of ant colonies. It took multiple service requests to get the issues fully addressed and I think they've since changed vendors. We had hoped that the community would be one that spent time together/was friendly since we were new to the area but that was not the case. The community is always quiet and everyone keeps to themselves for the most part. It's clean for the most part but there are other tenants who let their dogs poop freely without picking it up after. Not cool. The Bluewater office staff aren't great overall. Calling them is a pain. Our apartment flooded at one point from the rain and when I alerted the office staff they seemed unbothered. As a heads up- when you move out they offer you a $300 cleaning package or you can clean it yourself. More than likely you will be charged this forgoing your security deposit if you clean it yourself. Their lease break clause offers 2 options: 1) 2 months rent or 2) you pay until they find someone. We elected to go with option 2 figuring this community was in high demand because when we had originally looked at it there were very limited options available. This has turned out not to be true- they seem to have a hard time renting the units. For the majority of our time there we had no neighbors. They did let us get out of our lease early since we gave two months notice but renter beware.
