Car dealership suggested I needed three new tires, but I was reluctant because I plan to sell the car in about six months. A friend recommended a tire shop, Riverbend, in Pearl so off I went. "Richard" and one of his co-workers looked at the four tires and said, "You don't need new tires. These have plenty of rubber. Just need a little air.". I was dumbfounded! I have used this place for years they installed new tires Monday morning by friday i had 3 studs broke on front driverside 2 lugnuts missing on passenger side all my lug nuts was loose had truck towed to a shop tgen contacted riverbend they blamed me for not tightening my lugs after 25 miles i have never had to tighten my lugs after i leave a tire shop. They have rotated tires several times i have 7 trucks that they do all tire needs on my trucks this is unbelievable read more

Richard at the one in Flowood is a a××hole! They will tear your vehicle up and won't take responsibility for it!

1st off this place put new tires on my car but forgot to put all the lugnuts back on the tire! I noticed it riding rough & come to find out they only put on 1 lugnut on & my tire was about to roll off the axe causing the bumpy ride!! THEN, the replaced all my brake pads & I started hearing grinding & KNEW IT HAD to be my ball bearings bc I'd just purchased pads! Took it to Mazda & my pad wasn't even there! It had slipped off y'all! So I had to replace rotors and pads costing ~$550! read more

I was kind of worried because of the prior reviews. But Richard was really nice and professional. They had fast service and great prices. I am very pleased so far. They even provided me with a rotation record for my tire warranty! It is a no frills place that is probably why they are able to keep their prices so low. That and their warehouse is right next door. read more

While the tires may be cheap, you get what you pay for. I bought a set of 4 tires for my car, thinking I was getting a great deal on a set of tires with road hazard assistance. I have had a wheel out of balance since these tires were mounted, & I have called to schedule to bring it in and was told that they were too busy on two occasions, and then I stopped by one location which did not appear to be busy to get the issue resolved, but I was told I needed to take it to the other location across town. The money that I saved on the tires has now been lost due to lost time and labor. Update: at least one of the tires is out of round and one has radial pull. I have been unable to get any service from Riverbend. My car shakes as it steers itself off the road. read more

I have purchased two sets of tires from Riverbend and this went well. Service was ok and the price was good. Free tire rotation came with both sets of tires. I understood that that they do not make appointments and that it is first come first served when you come for service. I wanted my tires rotated and called ahead to get a feel for how long it would take. Was told to come in and I would be out by five. Since it was about two and I did not wish to spend the rest of afternoon in a waiting room I decided to get my tire rotation somewhere else. I may spend a little more on my next set of tires, but I will get where I will be treated as a customer. read more

I went to the location on I55 and had a much different experience than other reviews. They gave me a great price on my tire that needed to be replaced and didn't charge a install fee on top of that like tire engineers down the road. Good customer service, unlike tire engineers, and had me in and out in 10-15 min which was the fastest service I've ever gotten with a tire change. I will definitely go there again for my tire needs. read more

Went in bought 4 brand new tires, @ good price,,,, my center cap on rim was damaged and dents from being hit with hammer,,,, they have pics ,,,, all answers I get are manager will call you, manager not in, I will tell manager to call you,,,, I will not return here for anymore tires or tire repair and you can bet that I will tell my friends about this,,,, they are willing to take a chance on losing customers & getting bad media over a center cap on a rim read more

Went to the location in Brandon, Ms. I asked who I guess was the manger if he could change tires in wide wheels I have he said no problem. I come back and it's scratched on the front nearly all around. I talked to the manger about and completely denies it and we have a reputation for not scratching wheels and told me directly that my wheels sucked. read more

I made it to Riverbend Tire Center today at 4:40 today 20 minutes before they close. I was told immediately, "don't get mad because we are closed ". I was furious. I rushed from work to make it there. The sign should say close at 4:30 instead of 5:00. read more

I came here to buy a set of 5 Nexen tires. I arrived and one of the mechanics directed me inside, to speak with Richard. As we spoke, I told him I needed LT275/65/18s. He sent a guy outside to verify that was what was on my car. This man came back and verified the size as well, then it seems Richard became preoccupied with two other customers who entered after I did. Upon getting back to me, Richard continued to question if that size tire was what was in fact on my car. He then asked me how much I was quoted for a price. I told him I was here to buy a set and haven't spoken with anyone about a price. This dialogue went on for another 5-10 minutes, where as I decided to go somewhere else. The mechanics seemed friendly and attentive, the store was clean. At the time I arrived there was only one customer in front of me. Keep in mind this is a small operation with only Richard as the only counterman and salesman, from what I could tell all the other 15 employees were mechanics. read more

I went to this location before and everything seemed legit, my experience today, however was very unprofessional!! I dropped my vehicle off, went to lunch, and got a call on the way back in that my truck was finished. I walk up to the garage (might I add, has "customers" standing everywhere). The "manager" (Richard) was sitting in my front seat setting my computer and these "customers" were all standing around him chit chatting, or whatever they were doing, I am building a house, and have light fixtures, and expensive items in my truck bc I wasn't able to place them at the house when I left for work. I asked the people standing around my truck, may I help yall, and (Richard) says oh there just here talking to me, I said, well I don't think you need to have people standing around a customers vehicle youre working on, very unprofessional, and not even to mention the belongings in my car. When I told him that I had expensive belongings in my car he then tells me well we don't need to be working in your car then do we, and this other guy (service personnel?) comes out of the back saying oh no we don't need to be around your stuff. I walk inside with (Richard) and this other guy follows us in, and is telling me that they have security cameras and that type thing and theyre not that type of business, I said how do I know what kind of business you are, bc as soon as something would have come up missing, you would have had no idea where it went!!! The whole experience was very unprofessional!!! However what put the icing on the cake, is when the gentleman that came inside while I was speaking with the manager, as I was backing my truck our of THEIR GARAGE he proceeds to tell me that they don't need my business bc they get thousands of customers, and them loosing me was just fine... I have been buying tires from Riverbend for years. The Flowood location customer service has really gotten bad. Pulled in there today to buy 4 new tires at around 3:00. Had a friend following behind me with the car that needed the 4 new tires. I was met with a rude, disrespectful employee waving his arms and screaming that i needed to move my truck. Saying cant you read pointing at a sign over door. No cars inside or outside except us.Not a sir can you move your vehicle. He was really acting crazy. Being a long time loyal customer my first thought was he was joking. He was not and said a lot if disrespectful comments. This guy was upset . Saying this is friday and u pull in with a jacked up 4×4. First i was not getting truck tires and second 3pm on friday shouldnt matter. 3 or 4 guys setting around at an empty tire shop should want to sell some tires. When i went into office and told Richard the Manager what went on he just didnt care and had the same I dont care its friday and we dont want to work atitude. I am very disapointed in the service and Management at this location. They not only loose a long time loyal customer but everyone i know and everyone i talk to. WOW !!! DONT GO THERE !!! read more
