Unknown to me at the the time, in the process of mounting the tires, one of the mounting studs was knocked loose, falling between the hub and brake assembly (left rear tire). My car starting making weird scraping and rubbing noises with an occasional hard "bang" like someone was hitting the drive shaft with a sledge hammer. I took the vehicle back to Wilson, describing what was happening. He drove it (briefly) and then put it up on the lift, looked around, said nothing was amiss, that the age of my car was the problem. I then took it to Herrin Gear Lexus in Jackson. They quickly isolated the problem(s), showed me the damages and what had caused it. $1,100 worth of parts and labor to correct, making those Wilson tires the most expensive I've ever purchased. I've since talked to others Clintonians who've had terribly bad experiences at this business. Be ware!

My mother and I brought in her Avalanche to get brakes fixed, emergency brake fixed, etc. They charged my mother $984 for basically replacing a U joint and that's all I can tell they did, besides admitting they could not fix the emergency brake. No, they instead took it apart and left the loose pieces to bang around and damage the brake drum. We went to another repair place since Northside Auto did more damage than repair and found out Northside did not fix our regular brakes, either. My mom tried to get a reimbursement for some of what they charged her and they said they'd reimburse some, but now they are saying they "don't feel obligated to refund anything cause they offered to bring truck back and she refused and took truck somewhere else." They took advantage of my 78 year old mother! Shame on you. God will take care of it, I have no doubt. When the Greens owned Firestone, it used to be a reputable place, but now Northside Auto has turned it into a bunch of amateurs that take advantage of people's trust. And since I paid half of this bill, and you took advantage of my mother, I feel obligated to let others know y'all are posers.
