The staff are very friendly, and I love how they have descriptions of the wines on almost every style of wine....especially the budget wines. I love their wine recommendation rack. I usually value the seller's opinions.....was always a big fan of Zachy's recommendations in Scarsdale. I, most recently, went to their annual tasting event. It was crowded, but one was able to try out a ton of wine for free and have some free nibbles. I went away with 6 bottles. This is my go to wine store in the area. For spirits, I like to mix it up with here and Mt. Kisco Wine & Spirits because the selection varies in regards to Whiskeys (which is my go to spirit). They even offer a wine club membership. For $45, you can try 5 wines 1x a month and bring home 3 of the 5 bottles. I'm not a member yet, but I am highly considering it.

Right in between West & Hudson Aves., Dylan's Wine Cellar was a great match. It certainly looks the part with its relaxed vibe and nifty local wine selections at cool retail prices. Plus the two main aisles are spaced nicely and not too cramped. Adjacent room on the right has a few other items and held for Tastings also- not sure how often they host them. Hubs and I like our wines- but since I'm pausing for a while, he enjoys them for me. We're not wine connoisseurs- but he picked out a couple of interesting Reds to fill up the rack. Dylan's actually a cool spot with a seriously good selection and something for every taste and every budget. And regardless of whether you're looking for a flawless, hard-to-find label, or an every-day, budget-priced wine, swing by Dylan's laid back space- besides...my husband was pleased with his selections.

Even though I moved to Sleepy Hollow a year ago, I…read morejust started going to this wine shop maybe two months ago and was VERY impressed with it--the impressive displays, the cordial staff--a real win, win in my opinion. Tonight I wandered in looking for a finer Cabernet--not super pricey but around the $40-$50 price range. I directed myself to those wines and asked the clerk what made these wines so special. His answers included, "They taste really good," or "The label is enticing." Well, I wasn't completely satisfied with those answers but I decided to purchase the wine anyway when the owner came to me and said, "I don't like your tone, and if you're not going to purchase the wine, I'd like you to leave." She then escorted me to the door. It was clear that they didn't have an experienced wine staff. I have no problem with that. But in the few times that I've purchased wine there, it's clear that this is very true. It's a lovely store with a nice selection, but it clearly lacks knowledge of wine.

Those were the only two bottles in stock and they refuse to initially exchange. They later agreed to exchange, however only with a same item that would not arrive in time for a Christmas gift. I tried to exchange for another item of equal or more value, expecting to pay the difference but they would not work with me. I had to go to another liquor store in order to buy the same bottle to give as a gift and out money now. They are really making me go out of my way to dispute the charge on my credit card at this point. Awful way of doing business, especially during the stressful holiday season. There are better locations you can shop at. ****After initiating a credit card dispute and placing this negative review, the business issued a prompt refund which was applied towards another bottle in stock.
