    Having a big dog is very hard to find a place comfortable without stairs that hurt my senior dog joints. I am so happy to find one spot open lower level for my dog. So far this complex have dog. We fit right in. No body care about barking. Perfect for people with pet like myself.

    DO. NOT. LIVE . HERE. You have been warned! Between college and moving around to start my life after- I have lived in a total of 7 apartments. This was BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had renting. I read bad reviews before we moved in but thought, "only mean people write reviews, it will be fine". We moved state's so I flew here to CA just to view apartments. Here were the issues after we signed the lease and once we arrived: 1. When touring, they showed me one much nicer unit than we got- and never disclosed that information to us. So upon move in, I was very disappointed with the outdated version of apartment I moved in to. When I brought it up, they said "that's not true we are always very careful about that". Accused me of lying. I brushed it off and decided not a big deal. Although I was paying A LOT for a "luxury apartment" and didn't feel good about the way they handled the situation. 2. The apartment was filthy when we moved in. Not cleaned from the tenant before us. I'm talking, like dirty toilet..... 3. We took pictures of everything to document it, scrubbed it clean and then moved our stuff in after a 16 hour long drive with a UHAUL. 4. Before our lease was up, we notified that we would not be renewing. I sent them all the photos of the dirty apartment, time stamped from move in day and made sure they knew that we SHOULD NOT be charged extensive cleaning fees upon move out, as it was not even cleaned for us. They agreed *so I thought*. 5. We moved to Los Gatos (rented a house cheaper than this 1 BR complex by the way) and when we got our move out statement in the mail, I was floored. Not only did they keep our entire deposit, we owed SEVERAL hundred dollars for cleaning fees. I will note that we did clean before we moved out and it was in better condition than the day we moved in. I talked to the managers who said "whoopsies, since the bill was already made, you need to talk to so and so" to get it deleted. 6. Talked to the billing person who said "I totally understand and I definitely don't want you to feel taken advantage of, let's fix this. I thought phew, this was just a mix up. Well I was wrong. 7. After the billing person going totally MIA for over a month, we kept getting notices of an outstanding bill, which was making me nervous. I called the number on the bottom of the bill. That sent me to the property manager head quarters in CO. 8. The property management company proceeded to pass me around and around, with more people making me false promises and then denying it. I couldn't believe it! I even had someone scream at me on the phone. It was the most bizarre behavior I have ever experienced, which is saying something because I am a middle school teacher... 9. They sent the bill to collections, which we are now disputing. This has honestly been the WORST experience ever. Please believe me when I say this place is shady. It felt rotten, like they were trying to take advantage of me and even steal from me. DO. NOT. LIVE . HERE

    Our experience is similar to Kalpesh ! Will input the details later today but I could not wait to express how awe-full was our move out experience in regards with billing ! Move in is ok but for Move out make sure to accumulate a fortune if you are willing to choose this apartment as there will be charges for no reason and you get no response from them! SO AVOID leasing For more details, Please revisit the yelp page ! They deleted my google review to deceive the public !

    It's 12:57 AM and I'm lying hear listening to the Community Director stomping around above me. Too bad I'm out of Ambien. I can't wait until 7:10 AM to hear the clunking of heels on the hardwood floors.... This has been pretty much a daily routine since November 2011. I made the mistake of of completing a CONFIDENTIAL survey and unfortunately complained candidly about the "tenant" above me. Well it just so happens that the tenant is the property manger (VIDA) who's been nothing but nasty including leaving inappropriate notes on our front door not to mention her steroid boyfriend physically confronting me. So no surprise when my lease renewal was denied. WTH? Shady, shady, shady. I contacted corporate and got the run around because they know their employee was in the wrong. Civil suit.....

    Mold on my camera bag

    I am currently living in this community since March 2020. I have lived in TWO other UDR communities and never had issues. Here I have had painters look into my windows while I am washing my dishes to get my attention, I have had the same guy who lives here repeatedly see me walking my dog or waiting for a food delivery outside pull up to me and harass me for my number and get mad at me when I say I am married. I never complain if I can deal with it. However now I am complaining because I have lost $2000 in items that grew mold because the unit I live in the humidity stays at about 70 throughout the day. One if the bedrooms for the AC or heater to work in that room you have to close all the other vents. The bathroom had a vent problem and was not working, it continues to grow mildew, which I am allergic to mold. They said they'll fix the bathroom as a COURTESY for free like that is my problem but for the humidity issue that should not even be an issue that keeps causing my personal items to grow mold when I have NEVER had that happen anywhere they told me to just keep running the AC, running up my bill and being cold in the Fall and Winter to keep it down so my personal items don't grow mold and the humidity is my issue alone and if I want to switch units or move I have to pay to break the lease. I have never had this issue anywhere else. DO NOT RENT HERE. I pay almost $4500 to live in a place that I can't even use the amenities in the community the whole time I have been here because of COVID. Never even tried to get my rent reduced or anything but let me keep giving you my money for a terrible living space. UPDATE: We broke the lease which of course they want us to pay to break even though they have a black mold issue. Upon moving out we found more mold in the bathroom and kitchen sink. Same sink that I told the maintenance about and he said to just continue to poor bleach down it to keep the mold smell away. Mold is everywhere. Also mold on the ceiling in the master bedroom closet. We have been in our new apartment since Saturday and our rashes, headaches and nausea are all gone and our dog is no longer lethargic and is running around again. Our health was severely compromised and they could not care less. We even were contacted from another tenant that has mold in their unit as well. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Today, two of us were walking through chatting, and a Meadows property manager/worker yelled at us from across the parking lot, maybe 40 yards away, asking who we were. Thinking he had mental issues or a salesman, we kept walking. He then approached and harassed us, screaming about how we were trespassing, continuing verbal abuse and harassment and followed us until we left the property. We talked quietly, did not approach anyone, hang door tags, play music, or toss trash. We didn't go into the center apartment area. We're both computer professionals. This employee could have gotten on his golf cart and quietly told us sorry we cannot walk thru his parking lot and to kindly exit the premises. Instead, he chose to yell threateningly across a parking lot and come after us with verbal abuse. A good way to judge apartment management is how they treat visitors. Because as residents, you're going to get more of that - or worse. Stay away from this complex.

Meadows is very safe and it's also in a good location - it is right off of Central expressway and it's close to 237 and 101. Apartment was spacious as well. I also thought the gym was great and bigger than a lot of other apartment gyms so amenities as good here. There is a community pool as well. The management company was very responsive with service requests. We had an issue where the central AC was spewing out dead bugs so the maintenance team quickly came in and gave us a new AC. Meadows also hosts some events every couple months (coffee station, Easter egg hunt, food trucks, etc.) which made the apartment complex feel more like a community. One of the drawbacks about this complex is the lack of natural light in the some of the apartments. Because of all the tall redwood trees and the direction of our apartment, we didn't get much light. For the most part, we had our lamps turned on all the time. And because of the trees, leaves would fall into our balcony so we had to frequently clean that up. We decided to leave once the lease was up as we found a place with more natural light closer to our offices and meadows was going to increase the rent by $250 a month. If it wasn't for the light situation, probably would have continued to stay here. Overall I enjoyed living here, and if you are ok with less natural light or you are able to get an apartment facing the right direction, then I recommend!

The place is nice and cozy with your own balcony/patio. My name is on the lease and dealt with the staff. They are one of the most responsive ladies I've had the pleasure of dealing with. They were prompt in responding to any questions. They were very helpful, kind and professional. Shout out to Amica and Joc. They run Renaissance apartment with compassion, kindness and professionalism. Parking is not a problem at all. You have an assigned covered parking and lots of guest parking. They have lots of EV charging station as well. The move out process was seamless. We got our security deposit back less cleaning service as I am not about to spend my days cleaning it lol. We felt safe here. There's a patrol car/guard going around the complex. THANK YOU Renaissance apartments and to your staff for an amazing 3 years. I highly recommend this place.

A special shoutout to Johniquewa, who goes above and beyond to make the complex feel both professional and warm. Her friendly demeanor has truly made a difference in our experience. We've loved our time here, and if we ever return to Sunnyvale or the South Bay Area, Renaissance will be at the top of our list. Highly recommend! PS. Sirens, honking, and loud engines make it hard to sleep or even relax during the day. I think it is because it's located right across from several abandoned plazas such as the old Hokkodai Japanese Buffet and the old Garden City which is all flooded with RVs and an entire homeless community now. This homeless community causes a lot of disturbance on the daily from loitering, package theft and constant car break ins. If you value quiet, safety, or a sense of community, this is probably not the place for you. I regret not spending more time checking out the neighborhood before moving in.

He use to create artificial issues and then use his shell company to fix them. so basically he was ripping off both the renters and investors at the same time. There are several cases against him both for balmoral and other apartments he managed.
