The attendant immediately welcomed me and once I told her it was my first time, she walked me through the entire process from the different washing machine settings, to helping me load my card, to letting me know the dryers are free if you wash there as well. It was extremely clean and I was able to do 5 bags of laundry in an hour and some change. I would 100% go again! Large washers were $9+, medium was around $5+ and small was $3+. He has space he can be without being in the way and it makes it fun for him to come with us and less like a chore. They have a fun rug, flex seating, a table with chairs, books and a TV with cartoons and fun paintings on the walls! You can see the kids zone from multiple folding tables so he is able to stay seated there while we fold but we still have eyes on him at all times. There was fun decorations featuring a large Grinch for Christmas that my son also enjoyed. They have vending for laundry supplies and well as snacks that take cards, coins or bills. They have options for payments, an app to use to do all cashless, an ATM and a coin machine. You can even add cash to the app using the coin machine. We use the app and have zero issues, it even sends you notifications when your cycle is almost done. They also offer pick up or drop off laundry services as well. The staff is always friendly and here to help if you have an issue or questions, plus they will press the door button if they see you headed to it with your hands full. Affordable prices as well, a little more than other places close but for all the other things mentioned it's well worth the few extra dollars we spend each week. All around BEST LAUNDRY MAT IN GAINESVILLE and I and SOOO glad we found this place. It makes our unwelcome task of laundry outside the home a little more peaceful!! Staff knew about it but the very pregnant employee certainly could do anything about it in her condition & I wouldn't want her to. Whoever put it there never should have. The stuff looks moldy and gross. Given the mess with the rest of the laundromat, I doubt anyone will disinfect that space once the insulation is removed. The chairs throughout the laundromat appear to have never once been wiped down and there is a ton of garbage and food in between them. The parking lot has litter all over it. It appeared that at least 1/5th of the dryers and washing machines were out of order. With so many laundromats in Rome, there is no need to go back to this one.

I hadn't been to one since I was a kid plus It was already dark out so I really was just hoping to find some place that didn't seem sketchy, I was immediately at ease with how lit everything was and how clean it felt. I was a little rusty on how everything worked but in there was Ms. Kim, she was the most kind hearted genuine person! She helped me, chatted, and just made the entire experience! Most laundromat have a stigma that carries negative emotions or imaginary, such as, dark lights, broken machines, and that one group of people who seem to always be there, but never doing laundry. This is not at all the experience I had while visiting the Wash Daze Coin Laundry at 1868 Lafayette Rd, in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. Upon arriving to the location, you notice that the building, which is attached to a neighboring Autozone, is well lit and has ample parking. Along with helping their patrons feel comfortable arriving and walking into the building,the building itself is under 24 hour surveillance plus regular patrolling of local policemen alwaying the customer to do their laundry in peace and safety. The Wash Daze offers video games, television, vending and table areas, and free wifi all to accommodate the busiest customer. The best feature which was offered to me came in the oversized "family washers" accommodating 30lb and 45lb loads. I was able to complete my massive, six hamper day, only using two washers. Having this available cuts the time almost in half compared to regular size washers. For the more regular customer, the Wash daze has plenty of regular size, state of the art washers and dryers totally eighteen washers and twenty dryers. Along with plenty of washer and dryers, the Wash Daze has multiple folding and hanging tables and load carts, which allow for easy transportation of your laundry. Owner's Jerry and Carolyn Cooper has strived to think of what they would want out of their neighborhood laundromat and that is what they offer to their customers. Along with the location at 1868 Lafayette Rd in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga (In Big Lots Plaza by AutoZone), they also have a location in Chickamauga, Ga at 2682 Johnson Rd (By Dollar General, near Melon Patch).
