Right away, the The Wishyt Washy co-owner James, stops to greet you and to welcome you in. He will guide you through using their high tech washing and drying machines that actually wash and dry your clothes! I can't say the same for some other laundry services! If you don't have the time to wash clothes yourself, then we have a reasonable plan that can save you time and money. They have a drop off laundry service. They'll wash, dry, iron and fold your clothes and it won't break your budget! Just incase you don't have the time like me, I sometimes use this service when I get tired of doing it myself. You can play Georgia State Lottory and Keno! They have a pool table, toys for the kids, video games, free coffee, 2 HD tv's and free Wi-Fi. This place is filthy. This morning a large pile of used nasty insulation was piled up in the…read morecorner of the children's play area! Staff knew about it but the very pregnant employee certainly could do anything about it in her condition & I wouldn't want her to. Whoever put it there never should have. The stuff looks moldy and gross. Given the mess with the rest of the laundromat, I doubt anyone will disinfect that space once the insulation is removed. The chairs throughout the laundromat appear to have never once been wiped down and there is a ton of garbage and food in between them. The parking lot has litter all over it. It appeared that at least 1/5th of the dryers and washing machines were out of order. With so many laundromats in Rome, there is no need to go back to this one.

I come to wash oversized comforters that doesn't fit into my wash machine. The prices in my opinion are very reasonable and I think on Wednesday's there are discounts. I have forgotten my detergent both times, no problem, they got you covered. they have machines or you can purchase individual detergent pods from them. It's located in a shopping strip behind the Waffle House and the ever popular El Don Mexican restaurant is a couple of doors down from the place. There are ample of parking and even though there are no parking spots directly in front of the store; still it's not a far walk...I say about 3-4 yards at the most. (This is important if you have lots of stuff to wash and have to haul your stuff back and forth.) You can however park right in front of the store-unload your stuff on the side walk and then go and park. This is what a lot of people do here. The store is unattended and open 24 hours with surveillance cameras all around the store. The store is cash only. They have a couple of quarter machines at the front. I was there about 11 AM and there shopping center was pretty busy. Lots of people around and no bums hanging out begging for change or smoking cigarettes.The area is pretty safe during the day time. But still I would definitely exercise common sense.... (There is a Food Depot Grocery store across the street and the store manager says people come in all the time asking for quarters and getting change to do laundry. I was able to buy detergent there and got cash back with my debt card with no problem.) When I was there the lovely owner Derrick was there sprucing the place up and doing some minor repair work. The place was very clean with no visible trash on the floor and the top of the machine where people pour their soap was clean too. I used 2 of their four loaders and 2 double loaders for this trip. The vending prices are of the following: $2.50 for double loaders. $.50 extra for the super wash $4.50 for 4 loaders. $4.75 for super wash. 7min. per quarter for dry. I was able to wash all the bedding, blankets and a two weeks worth of dark clothes in under 2 hours. The dryers were nice and hot. My stuff got dry in no time. Best part...I still had about $11 left out of $25.00 so off to the taco truck I go....reward time! Be back in a week or so to wash more bedding! Thanks Derrick and team! I went to this laundromat because of the 5 star reviews. As I was there I couldn't understand how…read moreit got 5 stars. Then I looked at the reviews and they are all from 6+ years ago. I did appreciate that the attendant was helpful, it was a comfortable temperature inside and a relaxing vibe in there However, some of the washers were leaking, several were broken and some of the dryers were out of service. There was also no soap in the restroom. I wasn't also shocked to see that the machines were coins only.

If you are coming early in the morning (7a-9a), between Dunkin Donuts next door, the traffic will get congested. I like the fact you can use your card but if you are considering Apple or Google Pay, it will not work, for now. Look for the note in my pics. The bathrooms were not unlocked during the time I was there. There was no attendant to assist but they are currently looking for someone for all shifts! So if you're not familiar with the area you'll be looking at the wrong side of the road and drive in circles. Driveway is steep. Gotta back out at an angle or you'll scrape your vehicles bottom or back end. Facility is decent. Prices are a little high $4-6 for washing. Drying is ok at $1.50 a load. One bathroom for men and women or children to all share. No paper towels. 4 machines are taped over and not working. All in all ok and we'll use it again.

How can the non American owned laundromat just down the street close on such an important holiday but SUDS can't let their employees be with their families? I know the owners weren't staffing the place. I am a weekly patron and pay an average of 25.00 per week to do my laundry there while my husband and I finish building our new home. Kim is awesome and the main reason I go there. I think I will go to the other laundromat simply because this one is apparently open on Christmas also.
