I moved a few months ago, I passed this dental office while waiting…read moreat the intersection. for new patients they were offering a deal. so I thought, I needed one anyways. that I would call in & book. the first appointment was great, the dental hygienist was so sweet. incredibly kind. I just called in to move some appointments due to my work schedule. the receptionist LYNN began speaking to me with an utterly irritated tone. it continued.. I finally asked, "would you like me to find another dental office? because you sound extremely irritated with having to deal with this." she denied her irritation, it continued.. I finally had enough of her. I told her to cancel all my appointments, that I will be finding a new dental office who speaks with respect, kindness. LYNN if you're reading this. I hope you decide to change your tone. I hope that another person doesn't have to deal with that. it was rude. it's a shame that you, as a receptionist ruined it for your own boss who runs the dental office.

Alert - this office has recently gotten involved in a family dispute between my husband and his…read moreex-wife as evidenced by harassin my husband while at work for his credit card number to pay for his children's dental appointments as according to them "it is the law as his birthday comes first". My husband was hesistant to give them our credit card, given his children have been patients of this office for five plus years and they have never asked for this before so each time they called he said I will call you back, as he wanted to look into the matter. On the last time they called, I spoke with the billing secretary and explained to her that it was my understanding that given we don't have the relationship with the office, nor did we sign any contract for care, it was inappropriate to bill our credit card due to his birthday coming first. She actually argued with me and after I brought up the fact that his daughter had reached the cap on orthodontic treatment and there was nothing to send to our plan regardless, she then told me it was office policy to have his number but could not eplain why they haven't needed it for the past five plus years. Furthermore, I calmly explained to her that this billing situation was complicated as the children have THREE plans and my husband;s exwife REFUSES to have the dentist use my plan (which we cannot force her or the office to do) and that I would appreciate that unless there is an issue with my plan or my husband's plan to please not call and harrass us with this "new" office policy as we would not ever be complying. To make matters worse, the next time my step-daughter was in the office, this same administrative person apparently told her and her mother that she is sorry that they have to deal with me because I called the office and screamed at her so loud that her other clients could hear me. Given I was actually at work (in a government office building neverthelss) AND I have witnesses to the conversation that at no time did I scream, but I did speak firmly on how unappreciative we were to the repeated phone calls etc. We then sent a letter to Dr. Ferguson to complain about the lack of professionalism and slander of my name by his staff (over a month ago) and to date this has not been answered in any form. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Burerau and the Ontario Dental Association as recommended by my own dentist office as they have expressed how mortified they would be if this happened at their office. The more you know about what goes on behind closed doors .... these types of offices are in a bind when it comes to dealing with divorced families and extended family drug plan but at the end of the day, they were gettihg paid their money either way and tg get involed in any our our family affairs was completely unfounded and slander of my name and actions will not be tolerated.

I let them know that I have a child home with me, and they literally put me on hold to see if it was alright, then came back on, and even though they called me for that day- told me to stick to the original date. I had to actually convince them to let me book a cleaning. Good hygenist, very caring. When it came time to book for the gum treatment, they wanteed $150 just to meet with the dentist. This is not to get any gum recession work done, but - they cancelled the appt. for next week which included a dentist, so wanting to bill me for two separate visits didn't seem right. Not a solid first experience.

As usual when you go to a dentist they…read moremiraculously find cavities right away (funny considering I just was at another dentist a month earlier and none were detected) regardless I agreed to have them filled. Well that was a mistake, had to go in on Wednesday as it's there only day open to times for people who work. Was at the appointment for almost 2 hours because the dentist kept leaving the room. Missed freezing my tooth 3 times (third needle she jammed into the bone of my jaw) so 40 minutes of drilling an unfrozen tooth. Than leaves the room again after she drills it for another 30 minutes (keep in mind there's an open hole in my tooth during this time). Also the hygienist squirted me multiple times on the arms and chest and multiple times forgot to turn on the suction while working on my mouth. Absolute travesty of a dentist. Strongly recommend avoiding!
