Once I parked, I was not disturbed by anyone or anything. From the lot where I was parked, there was no access to the park's wifi but I had four bars of LTE on Sprint. The park's water was cold and clean. As clean as the stuff I get out of the tap at my own home. As I mentioned, lot 47 was quiet. It was also level and had a water tap, power hookup and sewer access. I hooked up when I arrived and had no issues at all. One note is that the Harris Speedway is about a mile and a half away. There was some engine noises one evening but it ended by 9ish. We brought our two senior Shibas, who aren't really into dog parks or other dogs, and they were able to have the entire parks to themselves for at least an hour each day we went. They had so much fun, and being able to pick up some dog treats on the way home from our park adventure was a nice touch. The staff here do an amazing job keeping the campgrounds clean, maintained, and filled with fun activities for dogs and people. Having a fenced in site was great, and our dogs felt right at home. The RV is stocked with almost everything you'll need for a few days, just bring food, towels and personal hygiene stuff and you're set. There's also washers/dryers/general store if you forget anything. Overall we had such a fun time just hanging out, spending quality time with our dogs. There were a ton of social events going on - bonfires, happy hr, etc but we're antisocial so we watched from afar. Looked fun though! We will definitely be back next summer! *My only suggestion would be to include an EV charging station, we were able to trickle charge our vehicle with no issues but having a paid EV charging site/parking spot would be an awesome addition to help generate revenue and attract more road trippers and you can charge while you're at the dog parks. I understand it's mostly a RV destination, but being able to charge our vehicle while we rented the RV was really convenient especially because the nearest supercharger is 45 min away.

Lying in bed watching the lightning through the skylight and hearing the rain on the canvas will always be a favorite memory for us! I feel so lucky that we found this cute campground! Because of the fires there was a burn ban however it wasn't a problem. The hiking trails were very nice and everything was clear from Helene so we could access them. We were camping in our RV but there are so many great accommodations if you don't have anything to camp in. To me the best thing was the bathroom and shower! I have never been to a campground that had such great showers!! Incredibly clean and they have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in there for you to use. They even had towels rolled up in cubbies! Who has that! We loved it so much that we already booked a spot for next year :)

The maintenance man who confirmed the presence of bed bugs reported that this has been a repeated problem for these cabins. We reached out to yogi bear by phone and by email to alert them and ask for compensation. It's been 8 days and they still haven't responded.

There was nothing deluxe about it, very close to 3 other sites to the back and to the sides, looks like at one point they may have had one pull through and converted into two sites to double their revenue, fine if you want to do that but don't do a bait and switch over the phone just to get me to pay for the site, don't tell me it is deluxe when there is barely any room between the sardines. 69 is not a Deluxe site, there is nothing deluxe about it. Not all sites are like that but it is tight and they are busy due to the proximity to Asheville
