Once I parked, I was not disturbed by anyone or anything. From the lot where I was parked, there was no access to the park's wifi but I had four bars of LTE on Sprint. The park's water was cold and clean. As clean as the stuff I get out of the tap at my own home. As I mentioned, lot 47 was quiet. It was also level and had a water tap, power hookup and sewer access. I hooked up when I arrived and had no issues at all. One note is that the Harris Speedway is about a mile and a half away. There was some engine noises one evening but it ended by 9ish. Comfy bed, nice shower, decent WiFi, and a surprisingly well appointed kitchen. The covered porch is fantastic and we ate pretty much every meal out there. The fire pit area is also super nice. There was plenty of fenced in space around the cabin for even our Great Dane to wander around. The dog parks are really nice and our dog especially loved the pond park. The dog wash station is a really nice touch too. The rate is comparable to a mid range hotel, but instead you get a fancy, well appointed cabin that's completely dog friendly and has a ton more amenities. Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Top tier A++ dog vacation.

We brought our two senior Shibas, who aren't really into dog parks or other dogs, and they were able to have the entire parks to themselves for at least an hour each day we went. They had so much fun, and being able to pick up some dog treats on the way home from our park adventure was a nice touch. The staff here do an amazing job keeping the campgrounds clean, maintained, and filled with fun activities for dogs and people. Having a fenced in site was great, and our dogs felt right at home. The RV is stocked with almost everything you'll need for a few days, just bring food, towels and personal hygiene stuff and you're set. There's also washers/dryers/general store if you forget anything. Overall we had such a fun time just hanging out, spending quality time with our dogs. There were a ton of social events going on - bonfires, happy hr, etc but we're antisocial so we watched from afar. Looked fun though! We will definitely be back next summer! *My only suggestion would be to include an EV charging station, we were able to trickle charge our vehicle with no issues but having a paid EV charging site/parking spot would be an awesome addition to help generate revenue and attract more road trippers and you can charge while you're at the dog parks. I understand it's mostly a RV destination, but being able to charge our vehicle while we rented the RV was really convenient especially because the nearest supercharger is 45 min away.

Forest City has a charming downtown with shops and restaurants and a nice farmers market. We have thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay here and really find it hard to leave these peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

Lying in bed watching the lightning through the skylight and hearing the rain on the canvas will always be a favorite memory for us! We had a bit of a rollercoaster experience during our recent family stay! On the bright side, the…read morekids had a blast with the jump pads, the coaster carts, and mini-golf. The cafe and ice cream were fantastic, and the food overall was a major highlight. However, our arrival and first night were pretty rough. For a $1,000 cabin rental, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and preparation. We were shocked to find large roaches on the top bunks and a cabin full of bugs. To make matters worse, despite having a family of four, only one set of sheets was provided, leaving us with nowhere to sleep the first night so our first day here was not a good start since we didn't sleep well, such a bummer. We reported it right away, but had to go back a second time before getting help. There were also a few safety and sanitation issues that raised concerns. The Wibit pads were completely covered in geese poop, and at the waterfront, there were no small life jackets available--leaving a ton of kids wearing oversized jackets with zero staff monitoring the area. My son got a bad cold with ear and sinus infection from the filthy water and swimming in feces. We also received zero info at check-in about the weak Wi-Fi or resort basics. We are making the best of our trip and still plan to enjoy the remaining activities, but management definitely needs to step up cleanliness, safety oversight, and communication. Also the staff came up to me and asked our golf cart number while we were relaxing. That was a bit awkward to me but understand they want to keep tabs on them.

What started as a stressful evening turned into one of the best campground experiences we've had…read more After arriving at another campground on Sunday and discovering it wasn't what we had been led to expect, we left and started searching for another place to stay. It was already late in the evening when we found Pine Ridge Campground on Google Maps and decided to take a chance. When we arrived, the office was already closed. A maintenance employee noticed us pulling in, stopped what he was doing, and took the time to hear our situation. He immediately contacted the property manager, and despite being off duty, she came to the campground, opened the office, found us a site, got us checked in, and made sure we were taken care of. The maintenance employee even had a golf cart ready for us to rent so we could get settled in quickly. That level of customer service is rare these days and made a lasting impression on us. We've now been here for three days, and everything about this campground has been outstanding. The grounds are exceptionally clean and well maintained, the facilities are spotless, and it's obvious the staff takes great pride in the property. Everyone we've encountered has been friendly, professional, and willing to help. The pool is excellent, the campground is peaceful and well kept, and the golf cart rentals are very reasonably priced. Most importantly, the entire staff genuinely seems to care about their guests and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. Whether you're looking for a long-term stay or just passing through for a few nights, I highly recommend Pine Ridge Campground. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in the area.
