We booked a three day staycation in the rental RV "Amy" and had one of the best trips ever. Booking was easy online, the campsite staff was easy to reach and communicate with, the facilities were clean and overall the park was such a fun place. We brought our two senior Shibas, who aren't really into dog parks or other dogs, and they were able to have the entire parks to themselves for at least an hour each day we went. They had so much fun, and being able to pick up some dog treats on the way home from our park adventure was a nice touch. The staff here do an amazing job keeping the campgrounds clean, maintained, and filled with fun activities for dogs and people. Having a fenced in site was great, and our dogs felt right at home. The RV is stocked with almost everything you'll need for a few days, just bring food, towels and personal hygiene stuff and you're set. There's also washers/dryers/general store if you forget anything. Overall we had such a fun time just hanging out, spending quality time with our dogs. There were a ton of social events going on - bonfires, happy hr, etc but we're antisocial so we watched from afar. Looked fun though! We will definitely be back next summer! *My only suggestion would be to include an EV charging station, we were able to trickle charge our vehicle with no issues but having a paid EV charging site/parking spot would be an awesome addition to help generate revenue and attract more road trippers and you can charge while you're at the dog parks. I understand it's mostly a RV destination, but being able to charge our vehicle while we rented the RV was really convenient especially because the nearest supercharger is 45 min away. read more

This campground is so quaint and completely focused on our furry family! The grounds are immaculate, and the staff were kind and attentive. The owner was sociable and very engaged. The experience was top notch not just for our pup but for us as well! We were in one of the fully-fenced in camp sites, which was wonderful for our Chuckie who is too "busy" to be confined to a tether! 15 minute drive to the grocery store and about 20 minutes to a wonderful local winery, Mountain Brook Vineyards which was dog-friendly as well! We'll definitely be traveling back to Four Paws next year! read more

So , we don't have a pet, but it's a half hour from home. Most of the sites are shaded. Some sites are level, some not so much. Our " patio area" next to camper was sloped so bad, I couldn't put chairs in certain positions. Luckily we had room behind camper to put the picnic table. It was so peaceful without kids screaming and yelling. A couple barking dogs once in a while but the owners were quick to Shoah them. I'd rather hear a dog than screaming kids anyway. There's not much to do if you don't have a dog but plenty of activities with them. Plenty of fenced parks . Even have training classes. Sometimes on weekends, there is special events. We will be regulars for quick weekends because we're so close. read more

I'm in awe of this rv park! They truly cater to our dogs. We've been traveling one month and this is the only park with safe dog parks where my little can't escape from underneath the fences. We absolutely loved our time at Four Paws. Being in education, we planned our Spring Break around a trip to Rutherfordton. We were so excited to take our two cocker spaniels down for the week. We stayed from Saturday to Saturday. We arrived on the day before Easter. We received an email earlier in the week saying they were serving Easter dinner of Saturday evening. We could choose a time in which it would be delivered to your campsite. Due to COVID, they didn't eat as a large campground. We timed it to have our dinner delivered right as we were finishing setting up. We hate to cook after long travel days, so the Ham, green beans, sweet potato casserole and banana pudding were much appreciated. Now let's get to the park... It is well off I-40, but I wouldn't consider it a bad drive with you RV. Pulling in there are about 40ish sites. Those include RV, rental RVs, cabins, and yurts. The campground is long and narrow, but still has everything you need. The bathrooms, laundry room, and dog wash were all clean. They had grooming tables outside as well. All of the sites are full hook up, there is no dump station. Sites range from fully enclosed (meaning you have a fence/gate around your RV which allows for plenty of off leash space to normal sites with a small fenced area. Dog amenities... There is an agility park, small dog park, large dog park, a private park if your pup needs some alone time (with you), ball park, game park which houses the lure course, and the pond park (my dogs' favorite). All are fully enclosed. Everything was well taken care of. Paul and Gabi the new owners are giving the campground the loving touch it deserves. Other stuff... Location wise, we spent time at Chimney Rock, Asheville, and Hendersonville. We went into the town of Rutherfordton which was cute. The market downtown has great sandwiches! We are ready to book our trip for next year as soon as they open up reservations. The dogs can't wait to get back. read more

1st time at this site and will not be our last. Welcomed with friendly greetings and showed right away to our site. We splurged with a premium deluxe site which is a deck attached to a fenced in yard you can set up your rv right next to it. From the dog ponds, multiple dog parks and agility course everything was clean and full stocked with doggy poop bags & water bowls with fresh water supply. They have a bath house for the pups as well as a grooming spot. They are tons of things to do with you and your fur pups! Even sometimes a trainer that comes in. If you need it for you and your pup they have it. If your a dog lover and just want to get away this is a perfect spot. They have cabins, yurts and spots for RVs/motor homes. Will definitely be back it's a hidden gem. Tip: no kids allowed this is only adults and dogs. read more

First time visit to the campground, and not our last! After browsing nearby campgrounds, this ones name stood out, so I clicked on it for details. I was intrigued by the 18+ and that they catered to dogs. We did not book reservations online, instead just dropping by unannounced. Another couple was checking out when I went into the office and they said this was the best place to stay at, especially with dogs. After two days here, I gotta agree. The campground is probably the cleanest I've stayed at. And other than a few dogs barking now and again, it's one of the quietest...no kids screaming for their mom that won't pay attention. We stayed in a pull through spot with a fenced yard on our site. Next time we will stay in one the has the fenced yard as well as a deck...looks like it would be worth the extra few dollars. For our small pups, their is a 30lb and under dog park. Plus an agility park, large dog park, ball pit area...yes, just like kids play in a Chuck E. Cheese, a pond (a little muddy, but they have a cleaning station for that). For the humans the dogs bring with them, their are showers, bathrooms, laundry, and lots of shade. Did your dog forget to bring something, the office doubles as a store loaded with just about anything they need...even some stuff for the humans as well. I wish I could find more campgrounds like this one. Most "dog friendly" campgrounds accept dogs, and maybe have a run for them, but nothing more. This place is like an amusement park for dogs. From what another camper told us, this is not the same campground from a few years back. The new owners have taken pride in it and are continually improving it. We meet them tonight, and even though they had their hands full, they stopped and chatted with us for a while. Amazing place. Incredibly clean which includes the showers, bathrooms, laundry room and pet washing room. The many dog park areas were also clean, well-kept, with dog potty stations everywhere and all close by around the parks and campsites. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The sites have dog enclosures so you don't have to tether them or keep them on a leash at your site. These enclosures are much larger than expected. I highly recommend this RV park whether you have a dog or just want to enjoy a nice park with trails. There is so much open space and very relaxing just walking around with your pup and enjoying the scenery. read more

We stayed at Four Paws Kingdom for one month in a 41 foot motorhome September into October. The Cons and Pros I will start with the Cons since I think they outweigh the Pros. Cons: We were in site number 26 and had way too many leaves, nuts, sap and just dirt falling on the roof of our coach. Also the squirrels eating nuts in the tree and also on top of the roof, leaving nut shells all over the roof. The roof looked like we had not cleaned it for years. The coach was just 5 months old and had just cleaned it before we got here. We had ask to be moved because of this but were told that they could not do it for us. We were also willing to go down from the deluxe with deck and fenced in area to just a fenced in area. When we arrived we asked if we could wash the RV since we are full timers and here for one month and they told us that they had a problem with one of their wells, but it was now fixed and would let us know when we could was it when the park was not that busy. Online it does not say anything about washing your RV (that I could find) but on the map they give you at check-in says that you can't wash car or RV, so I was happy when they told me that I would be able to. With a week left of my stay, I asked if I would be able to wash it this week since they were not even 20% full, as it looked to me. I was told that they did not want me to wash it since it will affect the water pressure for the other campers. This did not make sense to me since they were not even 50 percent full. What happens when they are full. I think that I use more water flushing out my black tank than I do washing my RV. The other reason she gave was that the site gets muddy but that seamed like an after thought. As I stated above the site was heavily covered with trees that made the inside of the coach dark even during the day. There are other sites that do have less tree coverage but most of them have some coverage but I think this one was the worst. This site could be a good site in the summer but not sure what it would be like. One of our neighbors had told us that two of their three dogs were stung by bees in the main dog park. We used the private dog park and the pond park most of the time. I do not think I would come back here if it takes too much time to clean the roof. There is an app that they have where you can see what is going on at the campground. We did not find out about it until two and half weeks into our stay. The Pros: The owners are nice and even trimmed some limbs that were close to our slide. The is a great place for your dogs with all of the different parks. Our dogs loved it. Dog bath area was very clean Campground it very nice but too many trees for me without being able to wash the roof. I think that if I was allow to wash the roof a couple of times during my stay I might feel different about all the trees. It was hot during our stays so the trees did cool it down. If you're staying for a short time might be worth it. It is a gated campground and you will need a passcode later at night. P.S. Took me 3 days to clean the roof. read more

If you like to travel with your dog, I literally can't imagine a better place to go than Four Paws. My husband and I just spent last weekend at a cabin there and it was paradise for both dogs and their owners. The adults-only (yay!) campground is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but it is a wonderful escape to just spend time with your furry companions. It is dog friendly from start to finish-- I never had to worry about my dogs barking and bothering other people. The grounds are beautiful-- there are multiple dog parks to choose from and all of the facilities are clean. Our favorite dog parks were the two around the pond where you could just relax while your dogs played in the water. The cabin was simple, affordable, and nice and clean. It's not a luxury space, but that's not what you are there for. We really enjoyed that the cabin was fenced so that we could sit outside while the dogs were able to run around and that the cabin had a grill. The thing that really sets Four Paws apart is the programming. Every night of the weekend included events to socialize both dogs and people. Friday night we had a welcome happy hour and Saturday was a potluck dinner followed by an awesome band (and you could hear the band from the dog park!) I will say that my husband and I were on the younger end of the age spectrum of visitors-- the majority of the people staying there were retired couples who travel the country in their RV-- but that didn't matter. Everyone was super friendly and we felt extremely welcome. The owners go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is having a good time. While the area is somewhat secluded, you can easily get to Lake Lure in 20 minutes or Chimmney Rock in 30. We spent a day in Chimmney Rock and had a really good time. I wish that there were more places like Four Paws that cater to dog-centric vacations. We are already planning our next trip to Four Paws and can't wait to return. read more

By far this is one of the best campgrounds we ever visited with our camper. The service, cleanliness and amenities for pets exceeded our expectation. This well kept campground is on par with Fort Wilderness at Disney. The camp store is basic but has essentials. The multiple dog and agility areas and hiking trail are beautiful and clean. Dog bath and grooming areas are excellent and so are the private bathrooms and showers. This place is reasonably priced for what you get. I needed an extra step to get our big boy in the camper and the camp folks gave us two cinder blocks to use. We extended our trip because it was so nice and we will be coming back and spreading the work. Highly recommended! read more

This campground... whew! Anyone who loves their dog, camping, or that extra special friendly treatment needs to try this park! We have camped all over the country and this, by far, is the most dog friendly. We are camping in a 39 foot 5th wheel with our 2 dogs. We were warmly greeted at the front of the office and escorted to a perfectly level site complete with a smile. The owners Connie and Sandy are kind and so friendly! Our dogs LOVED the huge pond dog park as we sat under a gazebo without any worries. The main dog park lacks NOTHING. It is by far the biggest we've seen, fully equipped with toys. The park its self is clean and it is obvious that allot of thought went into each site. The proof was in the pudding when our dogs literally passed out when we came back into our rig! We went there last October because it was the only place we could find for Halloween weekend. We had never been camping a d just bought our first RV. We loved it, so we came back and brought our friends with their dogs and trailer for Labor Day. This is just an awesome place, as you read the reviews, I can't add much more, but will say...I didn't have much interaction with the previous owners, so I can't comment, but the new owners are the friendlies and most fun camp ground owners I've met. There always seem to have activities for the adult campers (the no children is a PLUS for me)...this weekend was...cocktail contest, BBQ dinner, karaoke, chili cook-off, Mexican Potluck, Bingo, and a breakfast. They also have massage available! Your dogs will love it too! Trails, off-leash parks, ponds, agility training. Etc... We are planning to go back as soon as we have a free weekend. And MAY book Thanksgiving, too. read more

Even at checkin, I felt like I knew Connie for years! Sooo nice, and their staffer brought us to our site in a golf cart and spotted for us to make sure we were lined up and in the right position for our hookups to reach! Couldnt go smoother! And the fenced in lawn/porch is the best! ( we stayed at site 18, but they are fencing in many more) If you have pets and an rv...- or no rv, they also have campers AND cabins for rent! Give it a shot, their dinners, events and activities are five star and first rate! We will be back! Look for the 40' Foretravel- it'll be spending a lot of time here!! DOGGONE DELIGHTFUL!! I travel constantly with my dogs and have always found that places that permit dogs merely tolerate them rather than welcome them. Not so with the Four Paws Kingdom Campground. You can come here with your RV or rent one of 3 snug little cabins like I did, or one of their little travel trailers, Four Paws is way off the beaten path, but my Garmin GPS found it accurately, so things are getting better finding your way there. Four Paws really only wants guests with dogs, unlike other places, and it has been set up to be a doggone paradise for dogs, There are six dog parks: one small dog park, one main dog park, one private dog park, one simple agility dog park, and one advanced agility dog park, and a dog swim park with a pond that is completely enclosed. There are hiking trails for the dogs (and their humans). There is a dog park channel on the campground televisions, tuned to the main dog park -- you can tune to this channel and watch the activities in this dog park at any time. The roads are gravel, I don't know how many RV sites there were, some of which were pull-throughs and most which require backing in. Every cabin and every RV site has its own fenced in area for that site's dogs! The cabin that i rented -- the "Bonnie -- had a queen sized bed and a futon, You bring your own linen to the cabins if you rent them; this way, there are no issues with sharing other dog's hair with you or with the campground having to work hard laundering their rentals. You have to clean up the cabin yourself before you leave -- they supply a vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, plentiful cleaning supplies. There are no showers in the cabins, but there is a shower house about a block away, The cabins do have plumbing in the bathroom, with a bathroom sink and a toilet. They have hot water and I washed up in the bathroom every day rather than shower because it was starting to get nippy in the mountains during my stay at the end of October (snow arrived two days after I left). The cabins have a window air conditioner and ceiling fan, along with a portable oil-filled radiator-style electric heater (which I needed, and it did a good job heating up the little cabin). The TV's have Showtime and local channels, and a DVD player for your own DVDs. Every cabin has a front porch with a full-sized grill on it and a little hot plate. Inside, they have dishware, pots and pans, utensils, a larger than compact but not full-sized fridge with freezer, a microwave and a coffee pot. The floors and walls are wooden. Four Paws is located in Rutherfordton, and it is about a 13 mile drive to Lake Lure (a nice resort style town on the shores of Lake Lure which is almost arachnid in shape, with miles and miles of waterfront property as a result). Continue on another 5 miles or so and you enter Chimney Rock Village, with lots of quaint shops and the home of Chimney Rock State Park with the iconic Chimney Rock that you can climb 55 flights of stairs to (like we did) with your dogs or take the elevator without your dogs if it is working. I went back to Chimney Rock Village twice -- most of the shops there welcomed behaved leashed dogs. About 30 miles away is Asheville, which is a very nice city. The Downtown looks to me like what I imagine Seattle must look like -- full of shops with local artists and crafts, sustainable resources and industry, and hippy type shops. Again, these shops, too, were pretty dog-friendly, and my dogs got spoiled with all the dog biscuits the shop keepers fed them during our visit. I spent most of my money for souvenirs in Asheville -- nice stuff. They also have many restaurants with outside dining that permits dogs, and we ate there for lunch and dinner. I would go back to Asheville again. This whole area has very winding, curving, steep, roads, which almost made me motion sick the first day and I was the one driving, but by the second, third and fourth day, I was having a blast driving along them. Gave my stick shift a real work out. Four Paws is seasonal; they close for the winter, and close for a month during the "dog days of summer." We absolutely loved our stay at this campground. We stayed in the Aimee trailer which had all the comforts of home. Loved the covered deck and fenced yard for our 3 dogs. The trailer and parks were very well maintained; super clean!!! Our dogs had a fabulous time, and got to visit each of the parks. It was not very busy this time of the year, which was to our liking as we weren't sure how our dogs would interact with others. This was very relaxing vacation due to the amenities for the dogs. The owners thought of everything! Great way to spend some quality time with your fur babies while enjoying nature! We all look forward to our next (longer) stay! read more

We found this campground a few 4th of July's back and have come back at least once a year since then. This year, we are lucky enough to spend our entire July there. Connie, Sandy and all their wonderful volunteers do everything they can to make sure your stay is perfect in every way. Their enthusiasm is contagious. There is no way you can have a bad time. Every weekend has a different theme with different activities for both dogs and their humans. Lures, swimming and agility games for the pups. Music, giant Jenga and tons of good food for the humans. There is also a massage therapist on site every weekend. After spending July in our own rv, we are hoping to stay in one of their yurts or cabins for OctoberFest. This campground is truly a gem! To say it's a dog friendly campground is an understatement! I love to camp, but don't like that my dogs have to be on lead/leash anytime we are outside our camper. 4Paws had numerous off-leash spaces including large and small fenced in dog parks, and even a fenced in dog park with a large pond! There are a couple of agility parks as well. We had a standard space, but there are also spaces with fenced in dog yards and patios! On most weekends they arrange for activities and end events for both human and dog guests. Everyone is invited to participate in potlucks, catered events, dog competitions, music, games...all sorts of fun activities. We were there during a summer storm and the power went out due to a downed tree along the main road. The owners, Connie and Sandy, came to make sure everyone was ok and let us know what the status of the electricity work was! They really have poured their heart and souls into making this campground an epic experience. I absolutely cannot wait to return with my 2 beagles! read more

One of the best campgrounds I have ever camped in! Sandy and Connie know the true meaning of customer service. We camped in site #12 (Benji) for three fun filled nights. Our dog, Pasha, took full advantage of all of the amenities #FourPaws had to offer. She swam in the lake, played with her other four pawed friends in the dog park, and enjoyed shopping in the store for snacks. The fenced area at our site was an added bonus. Bark-or-treating was the highlight of our stay. We'll definitely be back next Halloween weekend. read more

An adult only canine retreat. We recently spent the nights of 8 -9 October at 4 Paws for our 2nd visit. A lot of park improvements have been made over the year. Once again we all had a great time.; brought 4 dogs. Living in central FL we were able to let our 2 Golden Retriever pups (3 yrs old) get their first swim in a lake opportunity (gators in FL lakes) and they loved it. The staff held a "lure course" session for those interested and one of the pups loved it; the other couldn't have cared less. The campground is a bit off of the beaten track but easily accessible on country roads. Well worth the trip if you don't have children under 18 years of age but have a canine family. I booked a 2 week cabin stay, a year in advance. Discussed adjusting my stay by 1-2 days, once the local event I was attending confirmed their dates. C***** told me over the phone that she would be happy to make date/fee adjustments. I paid a deposit and was told the balance was due at check-in. Event dates confirmed, I contacted to adjust the reservation by 2 days to reduce the cost, as per our phone conversation. She responded that the reservation now fell during a "special event." She charged me a standard "weekly" rate, when she should have charged me a higher "special event" rate, therefore she would remove 2 days from the reservation but would not deduct from the remaining balance. She said the balance was now due 4 months prior to check-in. If I had realized my booking was "weekly", then I would not have asked for the 2 day reduction - obviously I would have preferred to stay longer. I stated that, and asked why the balance was now due early. (During our prior phone conversation she said it was due at check-in. The footer in her emails states check-in). She informed me that the changes were "special event policies" (unknown to me at the time of booking) and that I would have to pay an additional $238 to KEEP those 2 days in the booking. I felt a little insulted and told her I was disappointed in the $238 fee to keep my full booking. While I found it rather strange to change the balance due date, I had no problem paying in full early. At NO time did I ask to waive the $238 fee or cancel the reservation. To my shock, I received a voicemail 2 hours later stating she was cancelling my reservation because I expressed "disappointment". She said "We don't want you to come with bad feelings or have anything happen once you're here". (No idea what that last part is implying??) Flabbergasted, I called. Of course I was disappointed in the charge. Of course I was surprised that my balance was due early. I never contested her policies, but felt it was within my right to ask questions and understand the changes. I certainly had not cancelled the reservation. She said, "I know, I'M cancelling it right now". Speechless. I received a snarky follow up email that said she would give a refund and accused me of trying to take advantage of her by "adding 2 days back" to my reservation. (Remember - she told me I could keep the full reservation IF I paid an extra $238, despite admitting that the standard weekly rate included those days, OR I could have chosen not to stay those two days and not been required to pay the $238. I can't understand how either option would have been taking advantage of HER.) She also reminded me that she had the right to raise her rates at any time. (And apparently does.) I had read several negative reviews from others regarding this business, but thought perhaps someone was just having a bad day. Instead, it appears to be bad policies and customer service. Perhaps I dodged a bullet, and hope anyone reading this will as well. read more

We were made aware of this park years before we traveled full-time in our RV. They said that if you travel with your dog than it was a "must see". And it was put on our list to check into whenever the opportunity arose. So several years after, that opportunity did come and we tried out this dog and adult park and I have to say, we were not disappointed. Every place we travel we compare what canine amenities are available and no other place has come close. What other location has 7 different leashless fenced parks for you and your four legged family member to indulge in? From an agility park to playing in the pond to luring (the first time for us that our shelties loved) there is a LARGE area for whatever you and your pooch has a mind to do. All these areas are well kept, trimmed and overall maintained with plenty of poop stations around the area. Water is always available; some with pools and/or additional obstacles for playtime. There is a short but nice hiking trail around the edge of the park if that is what you prefer. The park itself is well maintained with sites available for any size (four-legged) family (under 18 not allowed) you may have. Rentals with patios/porches and/or fenced dog runs are seen throughout the park. The park is situated at the edge of the mountains with nature in abundance throughout and yet looks like it can accommodate most any size rig. The bathhouse looks newer and it houses not only showers, but laundry and even a dog wash for large and small sized pets. (LOVED IT) They even include grooming tables for those (like us) that dry our long haired pooches. Everything is kept as neat as a pin. During the week, it is a little quieter with open spaces but the weekends fill up with 2-3 days of fun, food and games for adults and dogs alike. The pavilion is very nice and easily accommodates all campers whether it's for a meal, a rousing game of bingo or karaoke, or as a stage for live music. We had the privilege to hear live music from Josey Wails (these guys are fun and outstanding musicians). The office is a store and book/dvd library in one with RV and personal items available along with many dog needs. Our dogs loved their ice cream they always had in the freezer. They have additional services, one being a massage therapist, Heather, who gives wonderful, relaxing massages. Connie and Sandy are the gracious and welcoming hosts who, even with their busy schedule, always takes a moment to visit or chat or to make sure something is fixed if needed. I have never seen anyone so happy and energetic from morning to night. Their enthusiasm carries through to the volunteers who are extremely friendly and always helpful. The only issue we had is the WiFi. It's not the fastest but the campground is limited to what is available for them. At times, we could get our email and surf the net and others, very little seemed to work. It didn't help that our carrier is Sprint which is useless in the area, but Verizon seems to work just fine. We stayed about a month and a half (after extending our already month long reservation) because of how nice it is. We met so many wonderful "dog people" in both visitor and owner alike and we will definitely go back when that opportunity comes again. read more

We just returned from a weekend at Four Paws and what a great experience! The fenced in areas at each campsite, with an enclosed patio, made it very easy to hang out, because our biggest beef anytime we go camping is keeping our 3 dogs tethered on ropes whenever outside the camper. The owners could not have been more friendly and accommodating, and they seem to enjoy making it fun for everyone. The meet and greet around the campfire Friday night was terrific, the lure course Saturday morning was an unexpected delight, the band Saturday night was spectacular, and the pizza delivered to our campsite, right on schedule, by cheerful delivery folks who refused a tip, was also surprisingly excellent. I liked that there are lots of poop buckets everywhere, and they are regularly refreshed. We stayed in an RV so didn't experience the bath facilities, but I'm sure they were top notch also. My only micro-beef is the weak strength of the wifi. The camp wifi was spotty; my iPhone hotspot with Verizon service worked well. My AT&T phone got no service at all. It wouldn't matter so much, except I work remotely and had to work one of the days we were there. We will definitely return!!!! read more

The best place for you and your dogs! This is an adult only campground (not a bad thing in my eyes!!). Very peaceful, quiet and safe place. Try it - you will like it! Don't own a camper? Choose one of their many comfortable cabins, RVs or yurts! I own a camper and have stayed in a few of their rental units. My dogs love it! read more

This is the best campground that you can take your dog They have everything that you could want in a campground First it is the cleanest place I have been to with our RV. No RV, that is ok they have cabins or campers that you can rent also. The spaces are roomy and have great fenced in areas for your fur babies. Plenty of places to go walking. Several fenced in dog park areas to play with their friends plus a private dog park are for those who prefer to play by themselves. Areas for agility big and small dogs. A pond for swimming or chasing frogs. Campfire area for campers to get together. Now that the day is done, time to clean up. Not only showers for us humans (very clean and roomy), but a u wash doggie bathroom and an outdoor grooming station for those that need a little extra brushing out. Clean washers and dryers for those dirty towels and clothes. This is a must place to go and have some fun with your dogs. Don't they deserve a Great vacation too. read more

Couldn't ask for more! Four Paws exceeded our expectations for a relaxing vacation with our dogs. So many things to do -- with dogs! There are several dog parks for them to explore, agility course, and, our chocolate lab's favorite, a large, fully-fenced pond for swimming and general water-dog romping. The dogs were tired and happy at the end of the day. We enjoyed the quiet, adults-only environment. Too many amenities to list. Easy in-and-out campsites, rental cabins and campers, super-clean bathhouse (and there's even a large, well-thought-out washroom for dogs!), immaculate park, wifi, cable, fire rings, full hookups. The dogs had so much fun. We're already planning our return trip! read more

Great place for humans and dogs! I don't own an RV so we rented on of the cabins. This property is meticulously maintained and super clean! Sandy & Connie (the owners) are fantastic, friendly and great hosts that make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Lots of areas for dogs to go off leash and be free! Plenty of things to do in the area w/ beautiful scenery & mountains in view. If you're looking for a getaway this is a great place & you don't have to have an RV to enjoy! We will be planning a return trip soon as this was great fun...my dogs loved it too! read more
