I would give this office a 2 for wait times 2 for communication . Overall appearance of clinic and kind front staff a 4 I took my mom to River City imaging center because her doctor recommended to use them. My mother likes her care at the local hospital associated radiology. When I called they were very courteous and let me know there was a radiologist who specializes in breast imaging . Sounded great and I accepted an appointment for my mother . Only setback was the radiologist was not there everyday so it took 6 weeks to get an appointment. About 1/2 hour wait in the lobby that's ok,but after mammogram the tech left her computer open when she left the room and I could see every patient name scheduled for that day. Big no no for protecting confidentiality. we then were put in a small dressing room to wait 1.5 hours and no one explained why. ( it really was a dressing room ) next she had an ultrasound .After the ultra sound we were told by the tech everything looked ok but to come in 6 mos to repeat it. I was taken Aback that the radiologist did not come to speak with my mother .since she recommended a 6 month follow up. I won't be bringing her back to this radiology center. I prefer to use the hospital based radiology because of their timeliness, better communication and ease of scheduling. read more

What a joke this place is!!!! I'm giving therm one star because no stars isn't an option. RCIC totally dropped the ball, and they admitted they made a mistake, on moving forward with an MRI pre-authorization. This caused me to not be able to get the MRI before year-end when my deductible was already met. The office manager, Crystal, became so condescending and rude and constantly talked over me. I asked for a call from the owner and am still waiting almost a week later. Save yourself the frustration and incompetence of dealing with this awful facility and go elsewhere. I had imaging done at River City Imaging today. They were busy but got me in shortly after my scheduled time. My tech was Kayla and she was nothing short of amazing! She was very kind and thoughtful. She was very knowledgeable about my procedure and explained everything in great detail. I would highly recommend this establishment for your imaging needs. read more

I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but everything moved very smoothly from check-in to having three different scans with three different technicians. Everything was great. Very professional, on time, I was in and out in an hour. read more

Keep your eyes on the charges here. They use tricky math when dealing with you and your insurance company. They had to issue me a refund in '23 and I suspect I'm being overcharged again... read more

SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I tried calling RCIC via the number for New Braunfels for a day and a half last week.... NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE!!! Left a voice mail and texted via their website. Someone did call me the next day, but they had not received my orders. That's another story, but they DO NOT answer phones nor do they prioritize it. So, I drove to one of their locations to make the appointment and I was told that they don't have a dedicated phone person and will only answer if they are not busy. They lost my business!!!! I was able to schedule it at another provider that same day!!!! read more

They offer a lot of options for radiology including mammograms and are pretty friendly. They are a well-oiled machine and move quickly and the location in town is super convenient. Checking in is a little slow as a lot of the patients are of the older generation, but other than that this place is my preferred imaging place. read more

River City Imaging is an absolute joke. First off when trying to call them, every single time you try to call them you're on hold for at least 20-25 minutes. Then when you do get ahold of them, the person on the person answering in this case needed to call us back about the order put in never did. So we had to go through the whole thing again a week later with being on hold again. My wife and I find the whole process of getting ahold of them very unprofessional. At the office they are great. Awesome imaging group located at the Pak Medical Center of Excellence. I called to schedule an exam, and I was lucky enough to get an appointment that day. The receptionist was nice and had a very helpful demeanor. My technologist had a great bedside manner and took her time performing the exam, explaining as she went along. If I ever need another exam I would I choose them again. read more

I had a disappointing experience this morning. I went to have a repeat mammogram due to a suspicious spot on the first one, which was a month ago. The repeat appointment ran smoothly and the radiologist told me she had medium concerns for me. At that visit she got special permission from the office manager to schedule me in 10 days instead of waiting until the next available appointment. When I walk in for my appointment this morning, I was told that my appointment wasn't until August 28. She asked me to wait while she talked with someone, (in the interim, a man got angry with the woman and stormed out while cussing) so while waiting I pulled out my appointment card and I did not make a mistake... I went back to the window and was told the doctor I needed for today only had appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When I replied, "Good news, today is Tuesday." The woman behind the desk said, "She's not here today." I was given another appointment and again was told it was a special appointment, so that I would not have to wait any longer than necessary, but this appointment isn't for another 10 days. It's awful to be treated like this when you just want to know if you have breast cancer or not... Don't tell me about working me in and special appointments if none of it is real! read more

I am extremely disappointed with this Imaging Center...I went to get my yearly mammogram and I am waiting for my results, it has been over 2 weeks...I have called them several times and they always say it will be faxed to your doctor...My advice is to stay far away from this Imaging center... read more

Provider sent order for MRI and xray a week ago. After waiting three days to receive a call for appointment, I attempted to call for appointment. I was told I was next in line but after waiting for 15 minutes I decided to take their advice and leave a message with return number. A week later and no call. I would definitely not recommend. read more

I saw some of the reviews and have to disagree about waiting. I am a self pay patient and didn't wait longer then 15 minutes even with several other patients waiting as well which I'm sure we're not all self paid. The front staff Joanne and her right hand woman were so sweet and patient on the phone and in person. My Xray Dr (can't remember his name, so sorry) was very informational and made this appointment not so stressful. Great place! read more

I'm beyond disgusted. This is not against the staff but billing. No call, no statement. They referred me to collections for a bill when I was just in there January 5th and paid it! I worked tirelessly on my credit and they do this to me! I even asked them if I had a bill they said no. I will never use them. I am also reporting this for bad business practices. I have always paid my debt. Even paying haft if I could not pay the whole bill. Stay away from this place. Lazy lazy lazy billing. Also I have paid them so this is very much in bad faith. I just had two imaging services done at this facility. The technicians that did my imaging were absolutely outstanding! They could not have had a better bedside manner! I believe their names were Shay and Jennifer. Give these ladies a raise! Also worth mentioning, the front desk ladies were very friendly as well!! Did a professional CT scan. I used the New Braunfels office. There pricing is fair and they listen to the customer.

I was sent to River City imaging by my PCP for a foot X-ray to verify if fractured. PCP stated they take walk ins, that I didn't need a appointment. However when I checked in River City imaging stated I would have to wait till after all the scheduled testing. I had to wait an hour so technically they do not work in anyone who does not have an appointment. I will never use this facility again. read more
