I was one of 6 in our crew and whatever 'idea' I had in my mind, the trip far surpassed my expectations by oceans! Captain Kevin & Miles are OUTSTANDING! It can get chaotic out there, but Miles & Kevin are two of the coolest gents & they keep the energy calm & FUN! Miles had that deck operating like a well oiled Tuna killing machine. They make you feel comfortable & it is clear their #1 priority is our safety & experience. Within MINUTES of dropping lines, we were catching Tuna (no exaggeration). Captain Kevin knew EXACTLY where to take us & Miles knew exactly how to handle the deck. We ended our trip with 20 Albacore Tuna, all of which were 30+ lbs (except Nate's - HA) & 12 Dungeness Crabs . Captain Kevin made sure we were prepared from the time we booked to the day of because he cares so much about our experience & that we were prepared. I never use the word 'perfect' because it is rare that anything ever is...but in this case, it was epically perfect. THANK YOU, Captain Kevin & Miles for making this a legendary experience for me. I truly appreciate it & will see you again next year!!!

Weather before our trip had been very tough with high winds and rough seas. We lucked out on weather but fish were scattered and not biting at first. Andy used his years of experience and we ended up with a pretty good haul of quality sized albacore. Our group was half experienced anglers and half newbies. Andy and Jim took their time and made sure everyone was comfortable and got the most out of the adventure. There are many things to see and do in and around Garibaldi. We stayed in Rockaway Beach (Andy's on the money recommendation!) and explored from Tillamook up to Brighton and there are still many places and things we want to go back and see. I would highly recommend Andy and Pacific Offshore Charters. Great crew, great boat and spectacular area to fish. Give him a call and tell him Jerry sent you!

He has a custom made boat with advanced technology. Andy also has decades of experience fishing in that area and we had almost constant action, achieving our limit with very little down time. Andy was also a pleasure to be around and made the experience a blast for my son. We kept our fish and crabs and they are truly delicious and we have lots of fish left over in our freezer. I am very happy with our experience and I would highly recommend Pacific Offshore Charters to anyone looking for a high quality fishing trip off the Oregon coast.

A pleasant surprise. My family, I had a hard time getting to do any hikes while in Oregon. But I…read morefigured this one would be easy. I believe out and back it's about a mile, and it's all boardwalk. The first part is a dense swamp...so dense it was hard to see into the forest/woods. Then the second half were the huge trees typical along the Oregon coast. Lots of wildlife to hear and see (birds, squirrels, and chipmunks). And it's just off the main road in Rockaway. If you can spare 30min-1hr, I would definitely recommend it.

Full disclosure: I think I might have enjoyed this trail more if it hadn't been so incredibly hot…read moreand ridiculously humid on the day that we visited. This trail is just over a mile round trip and you walk on a wooden boardwalk that is surrounded by forest. There are trees, ferns, other greenery and plenty of shade. However, because you're surrounded by so much vegetation, the air feels even more humid beneath the canopy... It was kind of like a greenhouse. I really think this trail would be enjoyed more on a cooler day. Ultimately you get to the big tree which is a giant spruce that is estimated to be a few hundred years old. We probably spent at least 10 minutes hanging out and just admiring it. Overall, the hike is really easy and probably suitable for anyone because it's level throughout as you're walking on the wooden boardwalk. They allow leashed dogs as well and we encountered lots of other pups with our dog as we walked. The parking lot is pretty small and there are no restrooms at this trailhead. I would recommend bringing plenty of water and going in the morning when the temperatures are cooler. I'm glad we stopped here, but the heat definitely made it less enjoyable for me personally. I might even come back and do it again on a very cold and misty Oregon morning.
