Great ice cream, milk, and meats. In particular I enjoy their banana splits and chocolate milk.

Wear hats if super hot and sunny and consider eating in your car if windy. You line up at the order window and you will need to read their menus before you can really order. There are cones and dishes, pints and quarts, sundaes, hurricanes, shakes, and pops (ice cream on a stick). Waffle cones and bowls. Will blow your decision-making brain. The have over 100 flavors but only have out at any given time about 48 of them. Wife and I love the 4 scoop sampler. Order four different flavors each of them are in a slightly smaller size of dipper/scooper. A great way to dive into those many flavors. I could not find prices, but my recent receipt for a small dish was $4.50. Their ice creams are wonderful. You need to check this place out. Good, old-fashioned delicious ice creams.

We used to love this place. Service has become so inconsistent and we won't be back anymore:…read more - more times than not a large is the same as a small - clearly lazy workers - flavors with candy or brownie are either overloaded or too sparse - online ordering is not updated with current flavors nor hours - workers avoid making eye contact when you arrive at window for a pickup order and you have to practically flag them down and knock on the window - refused to help my husband when he called to place a pickup order while he was at work and had no access to the online ordering app

They each got a cup of ice ice cream of their favorite flavor and I settled on a salted caramel milkshake with Heath bar. I think they put at least four Heath bars in it and it was a great mix with the salted caramel ice cream. The place is warm and inviting in the service is excellent! Highly recommend two scoops if you're in the plaza Midwood area.

So which version are customers supposed to believe? Regardless of who is saying what, the outcome is the same. They lost several customers yesterday, and we will not be returning after this experience. After talking to a lawyer, they believe this is predatory enforcement, and we will file a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and with the Better Business Bureau. Two Scoops Creamery on Central Avenue went from being one of our favorite spots to somewhere we will never return in less than a minute. We met up with a group of friends there today. Before grabbing ice cream, we briefly stopped into Sin City next door. As one of our friends was walking in, he noticed cars in the shared parking lot were actively being booted. We had been there maybe 15 minutes. Apparently, if you step into the neighboring business at all -- even if you're planning to purchase from Two Scoops immediately after -- they will boot your car and demand $275 to remove it. We spoke directly with the staff at Two Scoops and explained that we were simply meeting up and didn't realize stepping next door wasn't allowed. The response was essentially, "Too bad." There was no grace, no warning, no attempt at understanding -- just an immediate $275 penalty. It feels like an incredibly predatory and unethical practice, especially for loyal customers who intended to support the business. We didn't even stay for ice cream, and we won't be back.
