It was raining when I left home at 9:00, but it was a few minutes after 10:00 am, a beautiful morning, the sun shining and I was making good time. All of a sudden my head hit the door window, so being a bit rattled and absolutely stunned at what happened, I looked out the window and my side mirror was gone then looking in my rear view mirror I saw 2 deer turning flips in the median. Out of the blue, I never saw them coming, but 2 deer ran into the drivers side of my car going about 60 mph. The first opportunity to get help was Jefferson Food Market, so I pulled into the parking lot and tried to open my divers door and had to take my feet and push to get the door open. I got out and was a basket case, my head was hurting and the shock kicked in. There was a young man sitting in a truck beside me and held onto me and talked to me and I calmed down. He alerted the store owners and they came out and got me and stayed with me until my son came and got me. I just want to say how wonderful everyone in that store was to me. Thank you! Linda
