This visit hubby and I had fried pork chops, mashed potatoes (me), rice (hubbs) and black eyed peas with biscuit. So yummy! Now, the bad stuff...the place is located within a rest stop which is not a huge deal because it's convenient when you are in a long trip and need food and gas. The inside needs major renovation and updates. It's old looking and not because of decor but just because it is old. You CAN smoke inside so there is that. It smells smoky but if you can get over that you'll find great food and service. They have ample booths and tables and can also accommodate a moderately large group. If you walk in and see it you will want to turn away but I beg of you to give it a try. Even if you just order takeout, it is totally worth it. The prices are low, our Mae was about $9 each.

The ambiance was upscale, though noisy, which is understandable for a bar-restaurant. The staff has a cool vibe, sort of like 90s grunge, but they're all very smiley and easy to talk with.

This bar is located on the rooftop of probably one of, if not the nicest hotel in Rock Hill…read more Well...as expected, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The bar is split into this super-basic, blah area (inside bar), and the semi-patio/rooftop area, where they made some efforts to be fancy...alternating colors of flashing neons, heater lamps, and a fancy fire pit. Some of the couches looked super retro though...something you'd expect from the 1980's? Not quite metro...but a good attempt. I also don't understand why the patio/rooftop area is totally enclosed in (with open windows, yes, but enclosed). I just felt this could have been a much sleeker, much more open "skybar". Again, that super-basic inside area needed some work. It had absolutely zilch decor! My husband and I wondered why they spent so much effort into one half, but zilch on the other. Just weird. The bar service was really bad. We stood waiting to order our drinks for minutes on end...and it wasn't even all that crowded really. I got a Moscow Mule...in a basic drinking cup (not the typical Mule cup), with mostly ice...and ridiculously overpriced! I didn't even bother to snap a pic of that basic, overpriced drink. Guess I'm glad Rock Hill has a "skybar" of sorts now...but sadly, disappointing.
