So it's been a year and I've mulled over the review I would leave but recent events have solidified…read moremy thoughts. We were towed to Marine tech for a shaft issue last summer. It turned out to be cracked. They were very quick and accommodating and got us in. Everyone seemed very nice and it only took them a few days to get the work done. We even picked up our new shaft and brought it back for installation to speed things up. That being said, The final price we paid was double the initial estimate. In addition to the repacking and reseal and the shaft installation, they installed a new 1500 gallon per hour bilge pump and float switch. Within the last couple months, it appeared that these were no longer working. I removed the bilge pump and cleaned it and attempted to reinstall. There was no evidence of any marine sealant around the screw and as soon as they were removed I noticed bubbles indicating that water was seeping into the floor of the bilge. Not good. Additionally, there was no in-line fuse installed from the battery to the pump. Whoever installed the bilge pump needs a refresher course. They did a nice job with the shaft but I don't know that I could recommend them in the future.

I had them come and work on my boat and made everything worse. As soon as they were done they got…read moreup and just left . I tried to call and no answers . I have no ideal if they even replaced any parts or made it worse . would not recommend at all . don't go their at all and way over priced.
