I dry dock my boat there as do a lot of other customers, and ive seen it where people don't take care of they're boat during the off season. they wait until it's last second then drop off and think there isn't gonna be a line of other procrastinators and feel like they are the only one that matters. I'm sure they are the same cats that take their reels in for service during July and expect it back same day. Bottom line, take care of your boat and stop blaming the mechanics. I used to be a livaboard in Oceanside Harbor, and I noticed that Steve is the only diver that…read moreactually tries to steal hull cleaning clients from other divers in the harbor. Not only are his stories untrue, he dives the boats of tagged clients on the docks, and tries to con the owners into thinking that their bottom isn't being cleaned. Even with brand new paint, I was told that my diver wasn't doing his job, and that he was just 'waterlining' it. I called him to tell him the issue, and he promptly came down, took a video of the bottom of my boat, and showed me the video. Perfectly clean, as usual. There's been a lot of talk about this guy badmouthing other companies, and I don't support this type of business. Steve has a bad reputation in the harbor for overscrubbing brand new paint, and has a bit of an attitude when you approach him about his opinion of other companies in the area. Recommended? Absolutely not! There are plenty of other companies with honest, ethical means of acquiring business. Go with them.

He worked on my Parker and did a very good job. His worked ranged from adding new trim tabs to major engine repair. He did great work. Most recently I had him do work on my 60 HP Yamaha. Again he did good work. He convinced me that I had corrosion on the lower unit and it needed to be replaced. He even send me digital photos of the problem area. I was convinced this was a problem waiting to happen. James put on a new lower unit and added new gauges. I was pleased with the outcome.
