Her prices are fairly reasonable- around $50 for a wash, cut, blow dry, and style... she used to be cheaper but I think she got so popular due to her amazing cuts! I will go in there and sit down and say "I don't know what I want but keep it long" and she will give me a new style that I didn't even know I wanted until she worked her magic! I know prices here can range into the $100's especially if you get an owner, so when you call to make an appointment make sure to let them know your price point before settling on a hairstylist. I went into Salon Salon looking for a facialist as I am new to Boulder and heard this location has a good reputation. I was greeted by Randi who has a warm energy and fun personality. She was extremely knowledgeable when analyzing my skin (I've been having issues with acne and flaking skin since the move). The facial was a perfect mix of relaxation and knowledge. I needed to get a few new products to combat the new skin issues I am having and she sent me home with a 30 day trial kit that was perfect. I am able to try a multitude of product and see which ones I love. I will definitely be going back in for facials moving forward and will probably check out her lashes as well :) read more

Randi is THE BEST at what she does! I have her do my lashes, brows, brazilians, facials, or just pop my bad zits before a hot date, you name it. I wouldn't trust anyone else in Boulder. Let me first say from the receptionist on, the staff is incredibly nice -- it was a comfortable place to get your hair cut. Had my hair cut by Jill and it is a disaster. I have very thick, curly hair, which is supposedly her specialty, and now I have a frizzy, uneven mop. Despite being touted as a multi-decade specialist in curly hair, I found her approach to cutting hair completely bizarre. She cut it dry and it was as if she was performing the ballet -- flitting here and there cutting a bit of this and that -- but unfortunately there was no storyline. Can't wait for my hair to grow out so my hairdresser of 15 years can get back to work -- if only I didn't have to fly to CA to make that happen. Came here for a bridal style with my sister. My sister's stylist was 20 minutes late which made us late to our make up appointment. My stylist Mattie was a character and did exactly what I liked for my hair. However, he burned my ear with a curling iron (I had specifically said no curls so I had no idea why he even got the curling iron out.) And he burned my hair when blowing it out--saw smoke and everything. Not the most gentle experience but I walked out with a style I liked...mixed review. Tasha has cut my hair on and off for close to 15 years. Its a fairly expensive place, but worth it because you get a good, flattering haircut. I've moved through several different cuts with her, and she also cut my wig to look just like my hair style when I went through chemo.
