Do not use!!!! Terrible service!!! Had an issue with the pump coming on every 8 minutes. That meant…read morethe tank was draining 40 gals of water every 8 minutes. I called Mather which installed the pump in 2005 as I thought that the check valve was faulty. They sent a field man out and he checked the check valve and said the pump system was ok. My problem was that leaking 40 gals of water every 8 minutes will leave a real mess. I could not find a leak anywhere along the short run of line to the house and barn. I called them back after searching for the leak to ask some questions. After three days of talking to the receptionist and she telling me that someone would call and no one did, I called Leak Detectives. They came out and stated that the water was leaking back into the well through the pipe or check value, the outside lines where OK. I then called Mather's again as I had paid them 155.00 for the first call out. I was told by the receptionist stated that she would contact scheduling and get back to me. After a day and not hearing anything and with being out of water for almost a week I called another pump service. They were on the property within an hour and two hours later fixed the problem at a fraction of the price quoted by Mather. Poor, poor, poor service.

When Hall and Son came out the readjusted the pressure switch and informed me there was nothing wrong with the pump. After getting 1-2 gallons per hour from our well we called Well Company 1 who sent a technician out…read moreand determined that our pump was fine but our well was not producing enough water and that we needed to drill a new well. They stated that they were so busy that they could not drill a new well for 5-6 months. So we called Well Company 2, who sent out a technician who made the same determination and stated that they also could not put in a new well for many months. Neither company would quote us a date and did not call back, but did charge us for their assessment. We finally called Hansen Drilling and stated that we needed a new well drilled despite knowing that they were super busy like the other well companies. They sent us a quote, gave us an estimated date, and added us to their list of future projects that they work their way down in the order they receive the request. They sent out Mark B. who came out, looked at the well report and did some diagnostics. He determined that our pump was probably at the static water level and that we possibly had 225 feet of well depth below where the pump had been set. We had a pump company come out and lower the pump 147 feet and now have great water volume and pressure. Mark saved us more than $15,000 between the cost of a new well and the cost of lowering the pump. We also have water 2-4 months sooner than having to wait for a new well to be drilled. Mark is excellent and the best and most experienced technician and diagnostic expert that we have known in the 33 years that we have been on a well. Hansen Drilling does things the right way and is the most professional company in the business in this area.

He said he did not have the part needed to fix the pipe and should have it in a week or so. Several weeks later I texted and left a telephone message with no response.
