Carlos made me very uncomfortable and frustrated, I was trying to make conversation to avoid being rude, when he suddenly started spewing his own rhetoric and agenda about the current climate. He also stated that everyone is going to hate white people, which I am, and just left a distaste in my mouth.I felt as if he was trying to make an example of me to the people sitting in the shop. If there is a line, it's worth the wait. I've been coming here at least 2 times a month for the last year or so. Lauren is typically the one I go to. I've been here twice. First time was awesome. Second time was the biggest mistake of my life. I got butchered!!!! My hair looks so bad and I hate it. Make sure you design a plan for your haircut and present it to the barber, obviously they needs to see it. Update! Just took a shower. The barber should not be considered a barber. They should call him the butcher. The "line-up" is extremely crooked. This is the worst haircut I have ever received. It's a shame, the location was really convenient. Have gotten about 5 haircuts from this place since early this year and have to say have been satisfied with all the barbers who have taken care of me. I've had 4 different barbers and they've all given me quality cuts. Ah yes...razor smooth sides with a clean high fade and lined fronts is all I need. $15 per cut and tip $5 = 20$ out the door which is not bad at all. They're usually not too busy at most waiting for no longer than 15 minutes. You can also make appointments on their website which I haven't done yet but always a good option. read more

Honestly the best barbershop I have been to. One thing that I think a lot of people forget, is that this is a BARBERSHOP. Not a hair salon, not a great clips, or a spa, but a legitimate pure barbershop. A place to relax, talk, speak your mind, joke, talk sports, laugh, etc... All the barbers are great to talk to about anything, and seem to always be having a good time. I started coming here roughly a year and a half ago, haven't gone anywhere else since and would recommend to anybody. Rudy is my barber (and a great one at that) along with the owner Carlos. The barber left some chunks of hair longer in the back of my head. I waited to leave this bad review in order to give the shop a chance to correct the mistake. I've been taking my child to this barber shop for over 2 yrs. Last week I booked an appointment via the barber shops website for Weds at 4pm with my son's Regular Barber. Awesome Barber, *please note* this rating doesn't Not reflect the barber's work, this Review is based on the barbershops Poor Customer Service. My son and I arrived at the Barbershop at 4:01pm. The previous customer was still in the barber chair. I was fine with that, as I usually have to wait anywhere from 5-10 mins when I make an appointment. The Manager informed me that since I arrived at 4:01pm, I had lost my appointment and needed to sign in as a walk-in "IF" I wanted my son to get a haircut. Unfortunately, I needed to go out of town the following day And my son had a school event Friday morning, so I signed up as a walk-in. NOTE: The previous customer was still in the barber chair and Remained in the chair until 4:16pm. We ended up waiting 1 hour & 10 mins before my son was able to get a haircut. It seems like the Manager wanted to Take Customers Away from that particular Barber. I find it hard to believe the "Manager" would make one of "his" customers wait over an hour for being 1 minute late. I understand now, why there is a high-turn over in this shop. read more
