The pharmacy staff are amazing. I'll mention Faye, pharmacist, but they are all great. I believe they are short staffed but they always treat me respect and a smile. I was with Walgreen for years and switched to Rite Aid when we moved to Yelm. It's now been 4 years, and I can't say enough great things about them. I went in for COVID-19 testing on Aug 7th (expected 3-5 day turnaround) and there was a backlog so they sent some specimens to California to a company called Project Baseline. I have been waiting 19 days for my results. Rite Aide refers me to project Baseline and they referred me to PWN Health. PWN Health said they were looking into it and never responded back. I spoke with 4 people from Project Baseline who kept asking if I wanted to re-take the test. The 4th person finally told me PWN lost my results but they never informed me, they put it back on Project Baseline to ask me if I wanted to re-take the test. So in this scenario who assumes responsibility when there are 3 parties involved? How can I possibly get out of bed to drive my self to re-test. Had I been told by the first or second person at Project Baseline my specimen was lost I would have gone elsewhere for the test while I was still positive instead of waiting for my results they lost but never told me about then get ghost me. Here's the thing: one of the people I spoke with at Project Baseline even argued with me that PWN Health did not lose my specimen right before she asked me if I wanted to take the test again. She saw the notes in the system but never informed me that they were lost. PWN Health stated in the database that they notified me when in fact they had not. I found out on day 19 from project Baseline not PWN Health my results are lost. I am really disgruntled with the lack of transparency, integrity, and finger pointing displayed by all three companies. Needless to say, I will NEVER go back to Rite Aide Pharmacy in Yelm, WA. and the Rite Aide company itself, may lose my business all together. read more

I've tried calling the pharmacy multiple times during their open hours just to be on hold and hung up on multiple times. It's truly aggravating, especially since I need my medications. I'm not the type to write reviews ever especially negative ones but rite aide needs to get it together. read more

I'm giving them 5 starts, but only because of one of the ladies in the pharmacy. Erin, has helped me countless times and has been very patient with situations where I definitely wasn't.. insurance companies can be a pain, but she made it a lot easier and was able to help find a solution and I appreciate her kind customer service. read more

I've been standing in line at the pharmacy for at least 10 minutes and still no acknowledgement that I'm here as well as the two customers in front if me. There is one female working the drive up window and three others working behind the counter discussing something. A fourth customer walked up behind me and finally one of the three females came to help. I tried the drive up window first, but the cars weren't moving so I came in. As I'm standing here I can see that the vehicle at the window is the same one that was out there when I was in line. I'm not sure why. I have started using Tim's Pharmacy up the road because of their inability to get my RXs in as scheduled...over a week late...however, I had one refill left on a prescription that I am picking up today. read more

Greatest group of folks ever! A lady had taken a picture of me and A YEAR later, even after the store had a complete makeover, they STILL gave me my picture! Ok pharmacy, I'm retired military, so driving to Madigan and waiting two hours to get my prescriptions is the NORM. All these folks complaining about cars not moving and waiting 10 minutes...hang out at Madigan for a while. It takes sometimes 20 minutes just to find a parking spot! I found out that I could get my prescriptions in the same city paying only 2 dollars here at RiteAid?! I jumped on that like a dog on a two legged cat! They handled my meds and I couldn't have been happier. Also when Wal-Mart has run out of school supplies, I head here to get an even better deal of BOGO that lasts us all school year long. Been using this pharmacy for almost 3 years always a long wait, never anyone to answer the phone, but usually fairly friendly or at least not rude. I dropped off 6 pre surgery medications last week was told they would be ready by 5. two days later my husband went to pick them up and they had to record of them at all .. they lost a stack of 6 paper prescriptions... I tried to be understanding mistakes happen .. Manager calls me multiple times to tell me she cant find them anywhere and ask me more times then I can count if I dropped them off somewhere else then proceeds to tell me a story about a mistake she made at home (I stopped listening). 0 accountability they lost 6 prescriptions and now I have to drive all the way to Puyallup to re pick up paper to have filled, I'm beyond angry and they are taking 0 responsibly. Between time I've spent on hold, in the drive thru and now the trip to go pick up new paper they have wasted approx 6 hours of my life and lets not even get started on gas prices and the wages i will miss out on since I have miss work to go back to puyallup. Sunday 1/3. @ 530 pm; the cashier reeked so badly of cigarettes,,, it like she slept in an ashtray. i almost had an asthma attack; i could not have been worse if she had rolled around in a septic tank.... the worst stench is the strong smell of an ashtray .... bad enuf i have stand 50 feet from most of the customers here.. but there is no escaping an ashtray smelling cashier... cant believe a mgr would allow her to be upfront smelling like that. read more

After Walgreens left our health network we went here since it by our house. So far, the pharmacy service has been very dismal. They do not stock things they should and have messed up 3 of our orders. It looks like we will have to start going to Safeway for future prescriptions. read more

This pharmacy wasn't the greatest, but, had some really good employees when the pharmacist was Chris. They were speedy, and helpful, but when he left, it all went downhill. They go through employees very fast, and they are SO slow. I know it will take at least 30 minutes to pick up an already filled prescription whenever I go there now. Too bad this is the only one with a drive-thru in town, or I would have changed a long time ago. read more

If you need a prescription in the same day, I suggest you order elsewhere. I selected this location because it's close to home, but they were unable to fulfill the prescription within 8 hours. On a Saturday morning, they told the prescribing doctor it would be ready by noon. It was not. They then said it would be ready by 2. Still not ready. Thirty minutes before closing, they finally admitted the prescription would not be filled. There was never a line of customers during any of the visits, so I asked why it wasn't done. The cashier said they only had three people working. Perplexing. A professional cashier willing to provide more accurate information could have improved this experience. read more

Called ahead to make sure I could purchase what I wanted and that they had it. Spoke to Chris in the pharmacy and was told that they had half of what I needed. Drove all the way there just to be told they did not have even the part they said they did. Waste of time. Don't know why I didn't just go to Walgreens like usual. read more

Very poor pharmacy. They are extremely slow! The people are nice when they can finally get to me, but it doesn't make up for the errors they've made. I think they are way understaffed and under stocked. They gave me the wrong medicine once and gave my husband the wrong amount of pills (way too many). I only went back because they seemed better after the remodel, but this morning I dropped off script. They told me 1 hr. I went home & then got a phone call telling me that they were out off stock but would have it by 3pm. 3 came & no notice from them. I called them & they couldn't even find what I dropped off!!!!! I will find another pharmacy. I do not recommend them. read more
