Terrible customer service. Takes forever in the drive-up. They never have the prescription ready when they say they will. Then they say to call ahead next time, but it's a 10-15 minute wait on the phone and it's still not ready! The pharmacist is nice, but all the other employees are cold and unpleasant. There are lots of people working there, and although there's a continual stream of customers there are never long lines in the store or drive up so, I don't know why they are so overworked and unhappy with what they do. Someone needs to look into the problems there. read more

This place deserves 1 star for their western union services. I made a mistake sending money on the beneficiary name and they weren't any help. You have to dial the western union phone they have and get a return number. The receiving amount is only $200. Beware! If you need to pick up cash or made a mistake and need a refund! The amount is so small and limited it doesn't help anyone! I went down the block to Rancho Mendoza supermarket. The line was very long for their Western Union about a 40 min wait but within 5 mins of reaching the counter, I had my issues SOLVED! Was able to refund me and resend money with the correct beneficiary name. Kudos to Mendoza and Boo to CVS. read more

Me, my wife, and our daughter were there to pick up prescription last Wednesday evening. This was not gonna be an ordinary prescription pickup because the cost should be covered by my wife's Disability Insurance. We were told over the phone by Rite Aid pharmacy that if my wife's Disability Insurance confirms the prescription.. There will be no copay. If they don't get a confirmation.. there will be an $80 copay. Well... previous experiences from my wife's Disability Insurance company made me think that we will be paying the copay and then hopefully get a refund from that company later on. I was ready to pay the copay when we were told by the Pharmacist that she called my wife's Disability Insurance company and she was able to confirm the prescription. We were all pleasantly surprised and I just wanna say "thank you" again to the very nice Pharmacist at this Rite Aid. In my opinion, everybody is overworked everywhere and she could have chosen not to make the extra phone call but she still did and she saved us the work of calling that company and getting a refund. read more

I grabbed my limit of two packages of Cottonelle but could not find a posted price. So I took them up to the register, being careful to stand six feet back. Imagine my surprise when the clerk rang up $12.99 for one six-pack and $25.98 for two---before tax. This store can shove their price gouging up their rear ends, pardon my pun. So I had to call the advice Nurse for symptoms I was having. She informed me that if I had a local pharmacy near my home that they could call my prescription in. That our pharmacists at where I normal fill my medication was on strike. Well my insurance would cover me and I should have no problem. Wrong! I got the worst customer service. I was told to go to my own pharmacy. "We don't service Kaiser members". Wow! Then I decided to shake it off and call the next day to ask if my prescription was ready. After it ringing many times and employees picking up and hanging up and not saying a word I finally got through( 30 minutes later) I asked if my medication was ready so I can pick up. Long pause and the pharmacist told me to go to my own pharmacy at Kaiser cause they don't fill for Kaiser members. Ouch! I told her the situation and I'd be happy to pay the medication. She didn't care and said go to your own pharmacy. Not cool. Bad customer service. And for being part of the medical field your attitude was uncalled for the sick. People be grateful for a job. Others are JOBLESS, HOMELESS and HUNGRY. read more

I should be giving one star but since the regular check out folks and a couple of the non pharmacist checkers are awesome at their jobs and very nice, polite and sweet I cannot give it only one star - those few employees get 5 stars from me - but this review has nothing to do with them. This review is for the pharmacy ONLY. I called in a couple prescriptions yesterday morning and was told they would be ready by 1:30pm - I called at 2:30pm to make sure they were ready and was told it would be another 30mins. Ok. So they hadn't even started to fill them an hour AFTER they were supposed to be filled. I call before I go there every single time now because they are never done when they tell me they will be done by, and I always show up late and they are still not done. I know I'm not the only one because other waiting customers have chatted with me about it. Now, this morning I called to verify that my Dr had called my order in, it was in but I was told it would not be filled unless my Dr calls them and asks them to. Ok. That is what he already did by calling it in. I call my Dr office and tell them so they said they would take care of it and call me back. My Dr. office calls me to let me know they talked to rite aid and my prescription was being filled. So I call back to make sure it is ready, as soon as I said my name the pharmacist - Jennifer - got attitude in her voice and was very short and rude to me, and after verifying it was filled she hung up on me. I went in to pick it up and the girl at the counter was super nice, like she always is, and I paid and went on my way. When I got home I took out the pill bottle and noticed a small triangular shape inside, my pills are about the same size but they are round. I open up the bottle and sure enough, there is a tiny SHARP piece of plastic mixed in with my medication. How unsafe can you be! Aren't pharmacists supposed to be paying super extra careful attention? Now imagine if I was an elderly person with poor vision, I would have choked on that sharp piece of plastic! I'm so disappointed in this Rite Aid. I'll be changing my pharmacy after this because I can no longer trust them. Talk about night and day. My experience over the last two years at Target Pharmacy had been awful. I finally decided to move my prescriptions to RiteAid. So glad I did! They are generally much more on top of it- especially Stephen (the pharmacist.) Great customer service and I usually find everything I'm looking for. I had attempted to return a defective product that to Rite Aid on stony point in Santa Rosa california that I had purchased yesterday. Because I did not have my receipt with me they only offered me half of what I paid with store credit. I offered the cashier the phone number under which was purchased and they said it was not good enough even though any courtroom in the US would accept this as proof. I then offered to show them the charge on my American Express to the same end with the cashier saying it was not good enough to prove the purchase. This was laughable as again any courtroom in the US would consider it hard evidence. As well as Rite Aid rules of conduct and business protocols having to do with returns. Ironically i had looked into shorting 100k shares in Rite Aid and as I always do investigate not only the financials but also their business protocols which required a manager to be available at all time during store hours. So I knew this going in and didn't need attitude from someone cutting corners because they thought the would get away with it. I then left the store to my vehicle to call corporate to see if they would be willing to help me with this simple refund. They were closed so I called back into the store to speak with a manager, to which i was told that none were working. At this obvious outright lie I quoted them their page and section code referring to what is required by a management staff and there must be one on premises at all times. I showed the cashier when no receipt is present and the phone number entered would alone be proof of and validate the return. I then offered my amex showing the charge and location which too would be acceptable for full refund. After being lied to yet again I ask to speak to a manager knowing that my two proofs of purchase were more than adequate and should have been resolved right there without hassle. I am planning on shorting their stock by the way because when Amazon takes over pharmaceutical sales which they are in the process of doing Rite Aid, CVS Wal-Mart pharmacies etc will go the way of Blockbuster Video when Netflix entered the market. but I digress. So by the time they magically came up with a mamager I immediately had questions about this being true as she was rude condescending and barely communicate using basic logic. I asked her are what is you name? Three times she would not give it to me. So then I asked her her store title to which she replied supervisor. At that point I explained that I requested and needed to speak with a manager, to which she replied I Am The Manager! I said you just said you're the supervisor to which she said what's the difference I don't even know what I am. At this point i realized I was dealing with someone mentally unstable and left the store. So i drove home being sure i.had been given a receipt and did in fact find said receipt. Even though I knew I did not need it. I only learned her name when I returned to the inside of the store and a cashier said "hey Kianna He is back". This is the first time I got her name. I provided the receipt and asked why was my phone number or charge on my card not good enough? By then with he information. I provided from their business model she had realised I was right all along but instead of offering an apology Kianna blamed it on the me for not having their business protocols in hand and offering it in the first place. When that didnt work she blamed it on the cashier. On a personal note i am a legal professional, no further definition needed but because of that I knew the law. That meaning that Rite Aid flat out bullies and steals from their customers that do not on a regular basis. On a further personal note i have had a mild traumatic brain injury for 15 months now as someone rear ended me going 70 mph while I was at a complete stop. I have suffered from an almost constant migraine for almost 16 months now with only 28 days of that time without. This entire exchange was excruciatingly painful. This is by far the worst experience I have had in any business, oh and good luck with your new jobs when Rite Aid goes the way of blockbuster. read more

Worst rite aid ever! Every time i come here something goes wrong i can never get prescriptions on time due to the pharmacist being on lunch or not being there, they close the drive thru even though the hours posted say its open from 9am-9pm. The last time i went to buy something in the store itself the front alarms went off when i entered and after i made my purchase and went to leave. I was so embarrassed i had to allow the sales associate check my entire purse just to prove i didnt take anything while a line of people watched. This place has only served to be a giant inconvenience. Hire a second pharmacist on staff and fix your front censor alarms! Ive never had these issues at CVS. read more

Something needs to be done by upper management in this location, The supervisor of this location Elias, left me and my family speechless the moment we walked into the store. As we walk in a customer was walking out and the alarms go off, we keep walking into the store not thinking much off the situation. Then, he stops assisting the customer he was with and yells at us to stop!! then goes on to say that the alarms went off as soon as we walked in. The only reason he did not go further was because another employee interfered and stated in front of the customers at the store that there was someone that walked out at the same time. This was honestly an awful act of racial discrimination, there should be no room for these actions coming from someone that "supervises". If I could I would rate 0 Due to this behavior I will be contacting headquarters with this complaint. Strange place to review but I find myself at this Rite Aid for all sorts of stuff. It's convinent to my house, open early and late, and usually never has much of a line. Xmas time they have lights at really low prices. My son and I stock up there. They still have an ice cream counter. Those used to be at all the 5 & Dimes but now are nonexistent basically except here. read more

Everyone here is super nice ! The store isn't big but they carry everything you need. I get all of my over the counter medication here. They always have the best deals where you can get things for half off. The taller, thin man who I think is the manager there was super informative and took his time answering my questions on Sunday about the pharmacy hours and other questions. He was patient and spoke to my kids and answered their silly questions about everything. The brown haired thinner lady always end up checking us out and she is the friendliest. The young dark hair kid is very nice too. I go here just for the outstanding service we get every time. Also they actually have delicious ice cream! Love this place... read more

This place is awful. I came in to browse the makeup and nail polish, but everything was so overpriced that after about 20 minutes of wandering around, I decided that I didn't want anything. As I'm leaving the store to walk home (I live within walking distance) a cop chases me, pulls out his badge and says I should return the makeup I stole. I was so confused because I didn't steal anything, he searched my bag only to find my keys, money and a water bottle (I had to show him the receipt for that). And even though he searched everything and it was obvious I didn't steal anything, he kept asking me questions and i felt very uncomfortable. I didn't even set the alarm off while leaving, they just assumed I stole something for some reason. When he told me I could go, I walked home and the cop continued to stare at me as I walked home, It was one of the most uncomfortable situations I've ever been in. read more

We get out prescriptions here because the wifey likes this location more than the cvs I used to go to. Normally I just tell the doctors where we go for our medication and they send it in through this computer system and after an hour or so I just pick up our medications. Best customer service I have seen in a long time! Anna greeted me when I walked in even as she was engaging with an employee at that time looked like she was helping them or training. She even greeted me while I was shopping and asked if she could help me find the right color foundation for my skin tone, and she did. I am a frequent shopper for years with Rite Aid, Thirftys,and even when it was Payless. This store has improved not only with happy and engaging cashiers but also with the merchandise. I love that I can go here now knowING that I will find everything I came here for and more. Great job Anna and her team! read more
