I live in Los Angeles and my 87 year old mother, who I speak to every day, lives in Sayreville. Today I called her and she was so very sick with a horrible head cold. She did not have any cold medicine and her neighbors all work so no one to help. I called the pharmacy and asked Paresh if he knew of a way to get her over the counter medicine. She is not a customer, and they do deliver, but only prescriptions. We realized there was no way to do this. So Paresh became a blessing to me, and, seeing that my mother lived a few blocks away, he delivered the cold medicine to her himself!!! I am overcome with emotion, to know that 3,000 miles away I found an angel. When my mother is better, she is going to transfer her pharmacy from the super chain to Paresh and will tell all of her friends to do the same. I have tears in my eyes. I called this pharmacy looking for a specific medication…read more I was transferred to the "so call pharmacist" and was told they had the medication available. I advised that my local pharmacy had the prescription needed and was advised that whom ever I found to have the medication available just had to call and rqst it, no problem what so ever I though. Think again. When I called this location back I was told that they had no time, or staff to be calling anyone. Being that it is a prescription needed daily for life, I then called again my local phmcy and the pharmacist said that this is no what is supposed to be done by law the rqstg pharmacy is suppose to call, but that worry not she would do it for me ( grateful Edison Walmart pharmacy). I then called two days later giving time to this "SO BUSY PHMCY" . The pharmacist again stated she had the pills but had no time to help me or confirm the dispensing of the pills. That we had to go in person and give her all the required information. Again stating they have no time with all the clients they have to help. We do live a 20 minute driving distance, but being they were the only pharmacy having the pills needed, my husband head over there. Upon getting there again the lack of customer service, lack of empathy, and lack of education in assisting and talking to customers is RDICILOUS. My husband did not get the pills, she was giving him the run around and on top of that telling him, he had to pay $130.00 when it's just a regular $30 co-pay. Filled a prescription there for my dog with glaucoma there yesterday. I paid $100 at CVS and $77 at Rite Aid for this script in the past. Hoffman's was $25! I'm so happy I stopped there to avoid the traffic to Rite Aid, as it's a month prescription I am savinh a lot. It was also ready and paid for in less than 5 minutes. Thank you so much Hoffman's... I'm really grateful.
