I was even greeted upon ENTERING the store the other day, which is rare to say the least. This is one of their newer locations with a spacious and well-planned interior. I recently stopped in on a chocolate hunt, but the specific chocolate bunny I wanted was not in stock. They were surprisingly nice in letting me down. I ended up choosing a different chocolate bunny and survived the situation. I also picked up some travel-sized items while here so I didn't look nutty for only buying a full basket of chocolate. The clerk asked where I was headed and then we had a long discussion about Italy as he rang me up. All in all -- a nice experience, and a break from the mundane, inferior service I usually experience at CVS locations. This store repairs my faith in the brand! To note: Exxon is on the other side of 322 and Wawa is directly across the street. It's a good stop if you're traveling down 322 from the bridge into SJ.

I walked by a bunch of times before realizing that it was even open, because the outside looks like it might be abandoned. (There are many closed shops on nearby side streets, so it was a distinct possibility.) You can find all the essentials here, from beauty to bandaids and snack foods. The store is clean and not empty but sort of low on stock. Basically, nothing remarkable. If you are in this part of the city and need something in a pinch, Walgreens might be your only option.

The last time I went there to pick up something, the cashier couldn't figure out how to add a coupon that was already loaded onto my CVS card. She had to ask someone else from another department and that took nearly 10 minutes. So that's either a training issue or a usability problem. That aside, this CVS store is pretty much identical to other CVS stores in the area in what they stock, i.e. they have a lot of useless homeopathic crap on the shelves but not one single bee sting treatment. But if you're looking for candy, cosmetics and quackery, they've got your back!

The two Toms in particular have been very kind to me. It's become difficult for pharmacies to get enough meds to supply patients, as our government dies not provide pharmacies with the ability to maintain the on volume of pain meds required. This very stressful both for the staff and patients like myself who risk going into withdrawal. This happened years ago and I ended up stuck in the hospital because we could not find a pharmacy with my meds in stock. I'm sharing this information to give a heads up to other patients who suffer severe pain and to compliment the staff for maintaining their professionalism.

The cards are, each year, passable, yet underwhelming and not worth the money i paid. Managers are really, really, really good…read more Pharmacy is really, really, really horrible. They will give partial prescription fills so they can charge you twice for your copay when the copay would be the same for one partial or the whole prescription. They will not inform you of this and it is only marked on the paper about 10% of the time. This Walgreens will also REGULARLY loose prescriptions that are wired from the doctor's office so you have to return to the office to get them again. I have had them lose the paper prescriptions, but when you complain to a manager, they miraculously find them. They do NOT inform you of insurance issues until you are ready to pick your prescription up (even when you wait 2 hours after telling them you'll wait. You have to go up there to find out what is wrong because they will not inform you there is a problem). Once had my Rewards card transferred to a new number, and found out it was never transferred so the prior owner of the number was getting my points and using them. Also, the Family Dollar down Shopping Center has many of the same OTC medications for a fraction of the cost from the same lots!
