I especially want to give props to the two sisters that work in the deli section. They always greet me with a smile and are very gracious. I also like it when Peggy is back in the deli department as she is so helpful, and has turned me on to a couple of good items there. I never thought I'd be buying my cold cuts in Wal-Mart. But here I am every week. I would also like to give props to Jane the beautifully kind woman that works on the register. She's always very happy to see me. And last year when I had a couple of operations, she was always praying for me and checking on me whenever I came back afterwards. I love the prices and everything here. But it's the people that make you stand Head and shoulders above everybody else. I would be remiss if I didn't say thanks to one of your great workers named Ron. He always greets me with such a smile and says Hey Mike do you need anything special today. He looks like he wears many hats at this place. And he does every job well. We only came here because there aren't many places in town to get cards. Upon entering, the place…read morewas a mess. The floors were dirty the shelves were empty (due to Christmas being the day before which wasn't a huge factor in my review). I almost slipped on a party of the floor I'm not sure why it wasn't at least clean but I was trying to be ok with it. We got a few birthday cards and walked to the register. We sat there and sat there and finally we had to walk around to get the girl working at the register. She slowly walked around and my aunt yelled happily "hey how's it going today." She looked up and said "fine" and that was the end of the conversation. She seemed extremely annoyed that we were there to buy something and made her work. If you don't want to be in a customer service job, then you should find another one. While we had a good laugh at her misery while we walked out, we both agreed to take our business somewhere else next time even if it is further away.

Ed Ullmann, the pharmacist, spoke to us as people -- he walked around the counter to be face to face, rather than stay behind the counter -- and was tremendously helpful. The Rx wasn't in the Phoenicia pharmacy, and I asked to pick it up in the Tannersville pharmacy; it was done seamlessly. Up in Tannersville I was helped by the pharmacist (Jennifer B, I believe), who was as helpful and kind as I needed. This is the way health care should work. Not a corporate profit point, but a place to get help from a human being who is caring and kind. I'm a believer, and I HIGHLY recommend Well ess Rx.
