Despite increased use by Public Charges the actual processing of prescriptions remains easy. Despite warnings by friends about this store, I made the mistake of continuing to use it. In NY the provider sends an electronic prescription and the pharmacy selects "private", Medicaid or Medicare Part D and promptly fills the prescription. I happen to be selling my house so each trip to this Walgreens is over an hour. On the previous visit the store was unable to fill a second prescription for me. I paid for it and wonder who they gave it to. The most recent visit will be my last time. This time they used the Wrong Edit to fill both prescriptions. I was informed that they wern't ready. Then told my provider was not qualified. I will be civil and write that Walgreens could have called a "866" number for a pharmacy help desk and quickly resolved this matter, but instead insulted me. I have had the same identical prescriptions filled for a few years now; only recently found the competency of the employees lagging. My advice is to avoid this store like a rash and instead look at options like Walmart and Amazon, I am.

We sat there and sat there and finally we had to walk around to get the girl working at the register. She slowly walked around and my aunt yelled happily "hey how's it going today." She looked up and said "fine" and that was the end of the conversation. She seemed extremely annoyed that we were there to buy something and made her work. If you don't want to be in a customer service job, then you should find another one. They have a vast assortment of holistic products, supplements, homeopathic, and Wellness Rx Products that are compounded in house. They also have a large line of cbd products, one is made with elderberry to improve the taste. They even make their own sunscreen and will custom make products. The Rx wasn't in the Phoenicia pharmacy, and I asked to pick it up in the Tannersville pharmacy; it was done seamlessly. Up in Tannersville I was helped by the pharmacist (Jennifer B, I believe), who was as helpful and kind as I needed. This is the way health care should work. Not a corporate profit point, but a place to get help from a human being who is caring and kind. I'm a believer, and I HIGHLY recommend Well ess Rx.

Coming in at 1 in the afternoon felt unsafe. Someone yelled at me in the parking lot while driving by, the store itself just isn't the cleanest. Bleh. The pharmacy staff requires you to show your ID, which is annoying because it seems as though you're unable to pick up medications for family members. Came in to pick up a prescription and didn't have my license on me but had multiple credit cards with my face and name on them, my insurance cards, my blockbuster card from 2000, you name it, it was in my wallet, except for my license. Had to go retrieve my license before picking up my medication. Maybe that's a law I just don't know about but other times I've come to pick up medications for family members it was a non-issue. Their grocery items are priced significantly higher than the price you would pay in a supermarket or a Target. CVS issues good coupons but if it weren't for the coupons there would be very little reason to come here.
