I walked in to get a flu shot and covid vax. They advertise to just walk in. Well I did. No one acknowledged me for 10 mins. I have been here 25 minutes total now. There are a bunch of chicks back there gossiping, 6 people total working pharmacy. I finally went up to ask how much longer. Guy says um we got a little behind. Really? No apology. Nothing. COVID-19 phase: The workers are masked and required. I went here to get some H20 proof eyeliner and they have the holiday stuff out and they also have sales everywhere! I got the eyeline and checked out and the worker was very kind and welcoming. The pharmacy simply WILL NOT answer their phone. Ever. It doesn't matter what time of day, they just will not do it. It's outrageous. This is medication we're talking about. Also, they will rarely have the prescription ready when you get the text alert telling you to pick up. So you can't trust the text system saying your meds are ready, nor can you call to confirm because they won't pick up the phone. As I type this I have been trying to get through to them for 24 minutes...and counting. This is typical. read more

This is a great Pharmacy, and for those complaining about how long something may take. That's called Life, stop the nonsense, deal with it and move on. I love this location. The employees are super friendly and always willing to help. I've had a few that rang me wrong but the store is quick to correct it. Some of their staff have worked at rite aid since their thrifty days and that says something. Best ice cream ever and often on sale. Not a fan of the pharmacy. Went in to have a prescription filled yesterday and was told, "We don't have it" and given a look like get out of the store. In this world of big companies and impersonal services, this particular Rite Aid is a shining light. I walk-in and the pharmacy personnel says hi! I had been to the Dr.and they sent the prescription to Rite Aid. The pharmacist saw me and said, "Hey, I'm getting your prescription ready vas we speak!! Do you want to pick up your wife's too?" How many people does he see every day and yet he took the time to recognize me and even remember about my wife's meds? Unbelievable! Everybody at this store is the best. read more

We stopped by for ice cream and had the nicest guy (Tyler) help us! It is so rare these days to see this kind of genuine service! We had children with all kinds of requests and he handled each with care! I know he wont be there for long (he's definitely going places) but you could not ask for a better employee! Wish I didn't have to check any stars. I had a prescription sent over because I had a thorn taken out of my eye. When I went to pickup my prescription for eye drops, Elisabeth the pharmacy tech was a thorn somewhere else. It is hard not to use profanity when describing the way I was treated. She was outright disrespectful and had an attitude that is not appropriate for working with others. The treatment was all done with her pharmacy manager standing nearby in earshot. He said nothing. It was so bad I had to walk out and call the doctor to request the prescription be sent elsewhere. If she treats elderly customers the same was as me, it would be elder abuse. No wonder this place is always empty. To Rite Aide's credit, the retail Manager gave me the District Pharmacy Manager's contact info. I have yet to hear back from anyone. Save yourself the headache of dealing with Elisabeth the Pharmacy Tech and just drive to the Walgreens on First and Nees, or the Vons on Cedar and Sheppard, or the CVS on Perin and Cedar. If they want to employ such a miserable human being then i suggest others do as I am and go somewhere else. read more

Good local drug store with various weekly sales. Aveeno products tend to be on the expensive side but you can often find them for 25% off here. They don't care if you stock up either, so if you find something you use often on sale, clean out the whole aisle! read more

I just had a horrible experience at the Rite Aid on Nees and Cedar. This sloppy cashier named Lindsay kept reaching into her Apron to look at her phone. Took more than 30 seconds for her to acknowledge me standing at the counter waiting to check out. I come here often and have never had this poor of service. Tricia and Ron are always fantastic, I'll now start getting my Ice Cream and Nees and Willow. I hope this store can fix her lack of service and not continue to lose customers. read more

Rudest, rudest girl ever. Mariah. I asked for an ice cream. It was so soft that one scoop couldn't hold the other. I asked her if the ice cream had melted and she said," it doesnt get hard, its sorbet" (like I've never had it before) and in the most snotty way. She never smiled, rolled her eyes and was just rude. She bypassed where we put our phone number in and then stared at us when we asked if we could put our number in..."oh, do you have a number"? Will not go back there for ice cream. I am vary disappointed at their pharmacy. We use them for everything and fill all of our perceptions there. I go in to get Tamiflu for my child and they tell me your ins has a co-Pay, it will cost $245. I go online and in 5 min I find a coupon that takes it down to $125. Come to find out that I still over paid. There is another coupon out there that allows you to buy it for $50 and the pharmacist New the coupon code. Not once did they ask to help get the cost down or show me where to go to get the discount code. Shame on all of them. I will make sure I take my business elsewhere.. read more

I went to this Rite Aid Friday because I was in the area and I normally go to the Shaw/West location. I was going to pick up my prescription and I had my daughter with me. There was a cashier named Lindsey who talked to me about getting the flu shot. I didn't know they were doing this at this store. She recommended for me and my daughter to get it. She was really nice and when we were checking out she let us check out by the ice cream area. Great customer service! I'll be coming back to this location in the future. read more

Rite Aid has by-the-scoop Thrifty brand ice cream that is delicious. The ice cream really is one of the best tasting ice creams. It is #1 on my list of ice creams sold in stores (though its only sold in Rite Aid). Much better price by the scoop than with Cold Stone, Marble Slab, or Baskin Robbins. It is also frequently cheaper by the carton than Dreyers, Breyers, Ben & Jerry's, and Moose Tracks in grocery stores. My #2 favorite grocery store brand is Moose Tracks brand that is sometimes in Save Mart and Vons stores, so definitely look for it. Ben & Jerry's would probably be my #3. Cold Stone, Marble Slab, Baskin Robbins would be on a different list. The Rite Aid store itself has a nice layout so everything is easy to find. I like how they are making Rite Aid stores compact, yet very functional. I don't appreciate when there's a sale item and of course its always out of stock, though I believe they do rain checks if you ask. I don't bother with getting a rain check. That is one thing that Rite Aid does that really irritates me. They only stock two or three of the particular item on sale (I know this because I have been there in the early morning). They may put out a couple more everyday perhaps during the sale, but this isn't the case when I have checked. This limited quantity during a sale is definitely something they do on purpose to get you in the store. The problem with this is that your customers will realized this and never go to your store ever again because they feel duped. If you advertise something on sale, then get a bunch of inventory in advance, and sell it as such. You aren't selling it below cost anyway, so I don't see what the harm is. But this is a systemic corporate problem that is widespread, and not something that one individual store manager could fix (I don't think so anyway). Rite Aid gets 5-stars just because of the excellent ice cream that is available by the scoop and also in cartons. Rite Aid would be wise to keep carrying the Thrifty ice cream, because it is a great way to get people in your stores. read more

Worst pharmacy. I've had the same lady tell me twice that my husbands prescription was denied by the doctor. Speak to the doctor and the doctor reassures me it has not been denied. He then calls rite aid and they have the nerve to tell him," Oh it's just not ready." I waste my time to go back and forth and deal with this when all they could have told me was it wasn't ready. I went to get a money order and they are only accepting cash for money orders. What a huge inconvenience. Especially, in these days and times when people rarely have cash. I was asked to use their ATM to get cash and then come back and get a money order. I would have been charged for using the ATM and then charged for money orders. Rite Aid please get a clue this is a huge inconvenience. I get all my prescriptions and buy all of my families household supplies, hygene products and much more from your store. At this point I would recommend you all to use Walmart since you could money orders with your debit card for $0.70. What a way to lose customers.
