The medication I urgently need for my post-operative recovery, as he wanted to ensure I remained medication-compliant. My wife went to the pharmacy around 9:30am, and we were told, "We will contact you in about an hour to let you know if the order is ready to pick up. Maybe it will be ready."We called again at 10:58a.m. and were placed on hold for 20 minutes with background music. When someone finally answered, they said, "Your order should be ready in about an hour."We called yet again around 2:15pm, the pharm tech again mentioned "check back again within and hour." We then called 6pm with no answer, and put on hold for another 25 minutes. What followed was a carousel of abhorrent listless customer service and dismissive behavior. When we called back again, the phone rang endlessly, was picked up, and then immediately hung up--this happened for another 20 minutes. Eventually, a new pharmacy technician picked up during the afternoon shift and quickly asked for all my information, hastily saying "cash or insurance?." In the background, we could hear him asking another coworker, "Do we put this workers' compensation in the system?" We then asked, "Can we come down to pick up our order? We have all the information for my workers' comp." In a hurried tone, he replied, "Yes, yes, just come down." When we arrived, it felt like we were trying to crack the world's greatest mystery--something out of The Da Vinci Code. After all that wasted time, we were told we could not pick up the medication because it required prior authorization from my insurance. This entire situation could have been handled quickly, professionally, and with basic human kindness. Instead, we were met with misinformation, delays, and incompetence. We have since filed a complaint with corporate. For the record, we had zero issues picking up my medication at the Atascadero Walgreens, where the prescription was handled without incident, If your health depends on your prescription here good luck; I would go stir clear and save yourself a headache.

I was greeted by a very nice woman and pleasantly surprised by her genuine caring and friendly attitude toward me. She smiled a lot. She knew I'd never used the medication. It took an oral syringe to administer the meds. It was small and appeared to be tailored to cats. With tiny measurement markings. She marked with a piece of tape the place on the syringe to make it easier for me to withdraw the appropriate amount confidently. (I'm 70 and not nearly as confident performing new tasks) But her doing just a little extra by marking the syringe made a big difference in my confidence. The pharmacy inventory itself was totally unique! For the holidays there were charming and creative decorations that made me smile and will continue to spread joy during future seasons. There were unique gifts for your favorite Cowgirl and artistic holiday decorations. I highly recommend taking the time to go into the pharmacy. It will make you feel good experiencing their carefully curated gifts and decorations. I'm looking forward to returning for the refill and more closely looking at their unique and delightful items.

The prices for the over the counter items I bought were cheaper there than where I buy them in my hometown at big box pharmacy stores. The gift shop was packed full of fun and interesting items. I am handicapped; I have neuropathy pain in my feet and the severity comes and goes. I can hardly walk today I'm in so much pain. I pulled up in front of the sliding metal doors to the nursery to ask the guy sitting right at the door if they had Clematis vines. I was parked 6' away from him with my hazard lights blinking. I smiled and said hi and I asked him through my car window if they had Clematis vines. He was cold and unfriendly and works in the garden department but he didn't know what Clematis was and instead of opening his phone and looking it up, he said "what's that?" I explained and then he pulled out his phone and he asked me to spell it for him and I did, and then he showed me a picture and he said "is this it?" and I said "yes" Then he said "okay, it says we have one". I said "I need three, so all you have is one?" "No, (he said impatiently) no, it says we have 10." I said "okay, thank you, but you said you had one". Then I said "I need three, and I'm handicapped and there are no handicapped carts on this side of store. So will you please walk in and get three for me, and you put them in my car for me?" He said "No I can't. I can't leave my post here." I said "okay I understand, will you please call customer service and ask them if they can send someone to come and help me?" He said "No, I can't do that." I asked an older couple walking into that door if they would look to see where they are for me, and they couldn't find them. When they asked him where they were, he pointed to a stand with pack of seeds in it. They told him I wanted the plants. He said "well all we have seeds." OH MY GOD, ALL OF THAT FOR NOTHING!
