I understand business, but this should have been determined the first two time the Same Groomer groomed him. Lastly, the manager said since you were told 150.00 I'll honor it this time, but he will be cut low(they gave me the length and I told them it was hard for me to determine the measurement length with his curly coat, but as long as he was not cut low and looked almost shaved and had a little fluff since he is a poodle that would be fine. I was told by the manager and the groomer he would not looked shaved and there would be a little fluff. His coat was cut low and he looked shaved. I was disappointed because I felt they were nice people, and I tipped above 15% but an injustice was done to me and my dog.

I was told "she was a great dog and did well". The groomer finally texts me back and says "she was acting a little crazy but she'll dry her better next time" My dog smells like wet dog and her teeth weren't cleaned either. What a waste of time and money. When I spoke to the receptionist she let me know the owner would be in and would call me in 30 minutes. An hour goes by and I didn't receive a call. I called the salon again and was told the owner was busy..and would call back. When the owner calls me back she answers "Hi, I am supposed to be giving you a call back"?. It seemed like she was completely unaware of what was going on.. I spoke to the owner who was gaslighting me about the whole situation and said the groomer probably told me my dog was good to be positive... unbelievable. They also require an "orientation day" to ensure all pets are a good fit for their facility. I know my sweet baby boy becomes increasingly anxious while I'm away, so I was concerned about how he would handle his orientation. Erica contacted me to let me know he was uncomfortable, but didn't use that as a reason to say he wasn't a good fit, as I assumed they would. Instead, she gave my pet some individualized attention and moved him to a quieter section of the facility, Cedar Park. With updates throughout his orientation from Erica, I was assured he was in truly caring hands. Still, I was a bit nervous to board my dog for 5 days as I traveled across the country for a seminar. Erica suggested bringing him in again before my trip to get him further acclimated. While I was still a little uneasy about leaving him, I knew he'd be in the best care provided in my absence with Perfect Pet Resort. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service is outstanding! Absolutely livid - For years we were happy with The Perfect Pet Resort, but that entirely changed…read moretoday after our 3 dogs stayed for 9 days ($3,000 bill). At booking, I explicitly stated our youngest dog, Pixie (turning one during her stay), was not spayed due to vet recommendations. I also made it clear I wanted my 3 dogs together. Pixie is anxious and I didn't want her alone for 9 days when she is used to being with our other 2 pups. I called twice beforehand to confirm protocols if she went into heat, and was assured they would monitor her and keep her separate from group activities. Despite this, upon drop-off, staff had separated Pixie from her siblings. The person at check-in said they had Pixie staying in a different room. Before drop off, I brushed Pixie out so it would be easy to care for her. She is a long haired Havanese so fur maintenance takes a lot of time. After a stressful back-and-forth and call with a manager, I was told they could downgrade the pups room but would be then be able to keep the together. I agreed to this. During the call it was also revealed they had her incorrectly listed Pixie as spayed. We resolved it: they were finally put together, and management promised extra attention to Pixie in case she went into heat and free cuddle time during her stay. The true breaking point happened at pickup today after a 9-hour drive from SC. In addition to the boarding, I paid for brushing every other day, plus a bath and brush-out on pickup. Pixie was handed back to us completely covered in severe, skin-deep mats across her entire body--behind her ears, legs, belly, right side, back and base of her tail. This proves multiple failures: Zero Brushing: The paid-for brushing services clearly never happened over 9 days. Ignored Grooming: The staff who supposedly bathed her today completely ignored severe matting. Lack of Oversight: Basic handling would have immediately revealed the mats. Now, after a $3,000 bill, I have to pay a specialized medical groomer to shave her down to her bare skin because the matting is a safety risk. This wasn't a one-off mistake; it was systemic negligence across multiple staff members over multiple days. Spoke to the manager who offered to refund the 'brush outs' and bath--a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of a specialized medical groomer shaving my dog to the skin. Completely lost all trust in their care of my pets. Beware. Save yourself and your pet the stress. Go elsewhere.

This time, the date was three weeks out. I called to ask about the expiration date and I was told I should not be using the drops for more than 28 days at a time. I was NEVER told this and it is not on the prescription label- it is a large bottle of drops and definitely has enough for 90+ days. The drops is also expensive. If I am only supposed to use it for 28 days, why are they giving me such a large quantity and charging me for 60% of the drops that I shouldn't use?

We attempted to get a Health Certification for travel with my Service Animal. We started the process early in the year, March 2025 where my dog did a Titer for Rabies. I was really clear that he needed to be seen 30 days prior to travel. We were told that he could come in 10 days or less prior to travel. The office attempted to call the day of his appointment for information needed on the Health Certification. They have all of his records and could have easily completed the form. Again, we paid for this EXPENSIVE service. 3 days before we were to leave Jennifer Maddison would not issue the Health Certificate because she failed to complete the form and did not follow the instructions which we paid her to do. Instead she claimed it was our fault and proceeded to berate us especially me. I am a disabled Veteran who suffers from PTSD and Epilepsy. She started out by saying, "I attempted to call you 2 times today, I am very busy doing operations and don't have time to waste". She then started berating my husband and myself because we did not complete the form, the form which we paid her and the staff to do and can only be completed by a Veterinarian. Again this facility has all of our records. She glared at me and said, "I have never seen you before, only your husband". Dr Bowen is our regular Vet but she told me that Bowen was not accredited and could not do the things she could. She then asked me multiple times, "Do you think your special?" and stated several times her refusal the sign the Health Certificate. I told her, "No, I'm just one of Millions". She told us that she had to attend an animal left under Anesthesia then left the room. When she returned we choose not to engage with her energy and ignored her behavior so we could get on with the exam. Yes the Health Certification Exam which she refused to sign. This has left me in disbelief and incredibly sad. I need my Service Dog to be with me at all times. I am certainly not the only one but I have suffered greatly in my life. Now I have to travel to see my Grandchildren without my Service Dog to Hawaii. I am very nervous and concerned. I will be reporting this to the ADA as I was not accommodated. I was harmed in more ways then this office can comprehend. Being kind and having compassion is not a difficult thing to do, however, this particular Veterinarian, Jennifer Maddison, could use some refresher training in kindness and compassion. She exuded hatefulness and made us both feel that we were wasting her time. There were multiple visits, phone calls, emails and charges prior to this last visit. December 3rd $521.99 March 27th $475.50 October 31st $410.00 We expect to be refunded.
