We attempted to get a Health Certification for travel with my Service Animal. We started the process early in the year, March 2025 where my dog did a Titer for Rabies. I was really clear that he needed to be seen 30 days prior to travel. We were told that he could come in 10 days or less prior to travel. The office attempted to call the day of his appointment for information needed on the Health Certification. They have all of his records and could have easily completed the form. Again, we paid for this EXPENSIVE service. 3 days before we were to leave Jennifer Maddison would not issue the Health Certificate because she failed to complete the form and did not follow the instructions which we paid her to do. Instead she claimed it was our fault and proceeded to berate us especially me. I am a disabled Veteran who suffers from PTSD and Epilepsy. She started out by saying, "I attempted to call you 2 times today, I am very busy doing operations and don't have time to waste". She then started berating my husband and myself because we did not complete the form, the form which we paid her and the staff to do and can only be completed by a Veterinarian. Again this facility has all of our records. She glared at me and said, "I have never seen you before, only your husband". Dr Bowen is our regular Vet but she told me that Bowen was not accredited and could not do the things she could. She then asked me multiple times, "Do you think your special?" and stated several times her refusal the sign the Health Certificate. I told her, "No, I'm just one of Millions". She told us that she had to attend an animal left under Anesthesia then left the room. When she returned we choose not to engage with her energy and ignored her behavior so we could get on with the exam. Yes the Health Certification Exam which she refused to sign. This has left me in disbelief and incredibly sad. I need my Service Dog to be with me at all times. I am certainly not the only one but I have suffered greatly in my life. Now I have to travel to see my Grandchildren without my Service Dog to Hawaii. I am very nervous and concerned. I will be reporting this to the ADA as I was not accommodated. I was harmed in more ways then this office can comprehend. Being kind and having compassion is not a difficult thing to do, however, this particular Veterinarian, Jennifer Maddison, could use some refresher training in kindness and compassion. She exuded hatefulness and made us both feel that we were wasting her time. There were multiple visits, phone calls, emails and charges prior to this last visit. December 3rd $521.99 March 27th $475.50 October 31st $410.00 We expect to be refunded.

She just drove up and took Gerty right in. She did such a great job grooming her, and Gert smelled amazing! Gerty is not easy to groom (I've tried and it's always a struggle), but she was so patient and worked really well with her. And you get a little report card which I loved. We'll definitely be coming here forever and I recommend her to everyone!

Our pup is recovering from recent health issues so mobile grooming was less stressful for her than going to a regular pet groomer. The cost is a bit higher than traditional groomers but the convenience of not having to take our pup to a place where she'd need to be crated for hours was well worth the cost. We'll definitely be using Lickety Split again!
