We stayed at the hotel where the restaurant is located, but if you are in the Taormina area, you should find your way here.
The service was impeccable. A water or wine glass was never empty and the pacing of the meal was ideal. All the food came out at perfect temperatures, which is always a worry for me when dining at a hotel. The eggplant parm is a must have. Layers of thinly breaded and sliced fried eggplant and a pile of pecorino cheese. Even if you are not an eggplant lover, try a few bites if you are dining with someone that is. The tomato and mozzarella tasted like it had been picked and milked that day. The creamy burrata mixed well with the 3 different types of local tomatoes. We shared the pasta and seafood dish as well. House-made pasta is usually awesome and this was no exception. It had the right amount of bite. One gripe would be I wish there was more seafood in the dish. The dessert sampler was not worth getting. The mini cannoli was excellent, but the rest of the items had been left in the fridge or freezer too long. read more
