Don't ever go get your haircut because they don't tip their delivery drivers.i worked for Delia's pizza fir 5 yrs n I got let go because these assholes n backstabbing me.a 76dol tab n the asshole tipped me 5dol.only low lives tip like that.i tip my drivers 20 dol at my house n my driver is grateful! I paid $70 for an average haircut. Didn't even get a blowout. Save your time and money.

Michelle did my hair nicely. The chair and sink set up is old fashioned and uncomfortable. The owner, Ann talks too loudly and uses foul language too frequently. She takes away any class this salon is trying to achieve. read more

Did a really nice job on my tape in extensions. Erica explained the entire process and answered all of my questions during the consultation. She did an excellent job I absolutely love the extensions! Risqué is a great salon that has a comfortable atmosphere and are fair priced. read more

I had known Ann for many years but had not visited the salon for a while. I had mentioned that I know her from Changes the salon. She acted like she remembered until I went to the salon today. She was in shock to discover my hair was very curly. She then went to the back of the salon and would not come out. I waited over 30 minutes then I left. Ann then had the receptionist call me to say she was going to take care of another customer. She never told me that. Ann is a liar. I'll never go to that salon again. I've been here a number of times and sometimes I did get good haircuts but I got a few bad ones too. I was always hoping for some consistency but my last experience was just horrendous. I would never return. I was told it would be $45 for a haircut and after it was done - I might add the whole thing took about 15 minutes - when I went to pay I was now told $55. My hair had not even been blowdried though that was my choice, it should be factored in. When I complained that I was told $45 and had paid that in the past I was met with a blank stare and the receptionist said that Cathy said to charge $55. I have been coming to this salon for the past year after a recommendation from a friend. The service from the staff is exceptional. I cannot say enough nice things about the owner, Ann. She is an expert colorist who is not only knowledgeable in her field but greets me with a warm welcome every time I come to the salon. I've been going to Ann for 13 years and she is the best. While men's haircuts are more simple than women's, she still understands exactly what I'm looking for. The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly. Free coffee and pastries while you wait is also a plus over other places I've been. They're also flexible with times when my wife or I need to reschedule last minute. Haven't even thought of changing places even though we moved to NJ over 2 years ago. I wouldn't trust any one else with cutting my hair since I've been coming here. read more

Can't say enough about the staff and owner, Anne at Risque. Her staff is pleasant, efficient and accommodating. I'm grateful for the confirmation phone calls I receive from Connie the day before as I make my appointments in advance. Ann is a fantastic stylist as is Olga, always making suggestions when asked and making sure you are satisfied before leaving their chairs. Anne's staff is up to date with the latest products & hair cutting techniques. In addition to cutting hair the salon offers waxing and nail service. The staff & clients interact as old friends. VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ! My sisters and I have been coming here for quite some time-mostly for special occasions (our sweet 16, prom, weddings) but my younger sister has been getting her hair cut, and dyed here for about 2 or 3 years now. On April 27th I made a Sunday appointment with Annie for May 15th. I first suggested 10 o'clock in the morning but Annie suggested 8 would be better considering there was four girls. My sisters, my mother and I were getting our hair done for our cousins wedding (my sister's and I were in the bridal party). The appointment was confirmed, we both made sure May 15th at 8 in the morning, and we even discussed which makeup artist would be coming. As we arrived at the hair salon this past Sunday, at 7:50 in the morning, we noticed nobody was in the salon. We thought we were early, but no. Nobody showed up. Not a phone call, NOTHING. we called at 10 thinking things were miscommunicated, NO. We drove by, NOBODY. My sisters and I called about 15 paces and were so thankful that Beyond Beauty on Forest took us in last minute. My sister left a respectful message for Risque-in which they called back earlier today (May17th) and basically hung up on her and said Annie would call back. NOBODY CALLED BACK. EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL. Now I know they probably don't care that they lost one family's business, but I hope other people read this, and think differently of you. It's not the first time I've had a problem, but I let the first one go conidering it was years ago, but SERIOUSLY?!?!? I left this same review on their Facebook, and their exact words that I have copied and pasted "Yes you are absolutely right Daniiela.you never came to see me for a consultant an no deposit for the wedding party .sorry for your inconvenience." I was NEVER informed about a deposit, I promise you this, or else none of this would have happened. What kind of apology is that? What if I was the bride? There was no miscommunication either. Annie and I both confirmed twice on the phone "Sunday May 15th at 8 in the morning." Mistakes happen, I understand that, but something like this is not to be mistaken, and a proper apology is needed. read more
