Joe Muggs was pretty busy but I didn't get anything from there. Lots of clearance going on. The only thing I didn't like was how dark it was on the outer walls.

I've been here before but there were totally different people working and it was really busy. The service was great and we had a blast. Not sure what was going on. But from what I've been told from the regulars about this particular bartender couple it might be bad for business, I was ignored for the most part at first and then just got a whole lot of attitude about what I was asking. I might be more understanding about that if it was really busy and it was a stressful situation. But I was the only person waiting for a drink for a good ten minutes. I felt so unwelcome I ordered something I obviously didn't want threw it away and left. Just terrible service.

The most frustrating thing about this Dollar General location is the fact that, too often, they're…read morecompletely out of the very thing you're looking for. Got a specific item in mind? A particular brand? The shelves, the pegs, are completely bereft of it. Usually, there's not even an alternate product available, something along the lines of what it was you really wanted. Despite this deficit of availability, boxes clutter the narrow aisles, and floor workers seem to be randomly, lethargically, but consistently stocking: what gives? A single garbage can out front is usually full to the point of overflowing, always the sign of a well-kept store. Service is strictly dour and methodical; you'll get no friendly welcome here, although the employees aren't rude. There's another Dollar General further west on Cervantes. That location, complete with a cooler that offers fresh fruit for sale (rare for this chain), is far superior. Try them instead.
