Had an appointment today 12/03/2021at 1pm. Was told upon entering I needed a mask. I explained I have a bad heart and was exempt. Governor Coopers mandate specifically states medical exemptions are not required to wear a mask. 5 employees were there. Only 2 had a mask on. And the lady that was telling me I needed a mask on was not wearing one until I pointed it out. So I put the mask on and everybodys good. They send me to check in. They ask about my insurance and I tell them BCBSofNC. Ok fill these forms. I go back out front and fill out the forms. I take them back and I'm told to wait out front. Not one minute later they come for me but there's a problem. The BCBS network is down they say and I have to pay cash if I want my exam. Does this scream discrimination to you? read more

Please review your bill and contact your insurance company if they tell you that you owe money that you thought insurance paid - they are at least 6 weeks behind in posting payments and will not bother to check w/their accounting if you bring it up with them and insist you owe money (even after paid by your insurance). MUST contact your insurance and get check#s/dates to prove they are wrong. read more

Love Dr. Lovsin and he's the only reason I'm even giving anything above 1 Star. Ever since that new front desk guy Mitch (hot pink hair) came into that office...it's gone downhill. Everyone I know that goes there has had issues with him. He's rude, sarcastic, and childish to everyone that I know that's had to deal with him. I got to experience this for myself as well. You guys also need to watch out for your insurance and money. He overbilled my insurance insisted that was my portion for services NOT rendered and didn't want to file a claim correction at all. He just stared at me when I told him that his billing was incorrect (I do medical billing myself.) I asked to speak to whoever runs that office he smirked and said he did, and when I asked where I can file a complaint, he gave me his email address instead of Cary's (which supposedly is the main office) he refused to give me their number as well. I recommend Dr. Lovsin because he's always been a great doctor and taken great care of me when he sees me. Dr. Lovsin was also trying to be helpful with this situation, because he's the only one Mitch would listen to, since Mitch refuses to believe he makes mistakes. Other than that hopefully "Mitchell" finds another job he actually enjoys, since he had an attitude from the second I walked in. He was also giving me misinformation about my medical records and my billing. Basically told me it was none of my business what they bill too my insurance and what they do with my information. Please hire someone who doesn't do sketchy things in the office and knows the legalities of insurance fraud. I'd love to reach out to someone in charge but he refuses to give me any info to file a complaint against him. Hopefully this helps someone watch out for Mitch and his sketchy ways. At the end of the situation (after several trips there and phone calls to insurance,) my claim was voided and refiled, and I was refunded what I overpaid. The staff here was amazing!! I originally called the office on Ft. Bragg because my off-post optometrist changed her insurances. I called and spoke with Nekeisha and she walked me through everything with both of my insurances. She helped me file and make sure that whatever my first insurance did not cover, my secondary insurance did. Nekeisha also helped me avoid the drive to post and helped schedule me a visit closer to my home. She was so helpful. Dr. Carlene Rosado-Martin was AMAZING! I loved everything about my visit with her. She explained everything to me, pictures and exam procedures. She continued and provided me with my prescription so I could order my glasses online. The whole place was quiet and some welcoming. I loved my visit and felt very welcomed and comfortable. I will be back to see them from this point forward. read more
