Me and my girlfriend went here for a couples massage which we were very excited for. I went with a deep tissue massage and she got a prenatal. This was by far the WORT service and experience I've had at a massage. Constantly answering the phone during the massage and waking out of the room to help customers coming in(without giving time back). HIGHLY DO NOT Recommend!! It was over priced aswell which I would not have minded if it were a good experience. An experience we were looking for was not only a letdown but a huge upset. I've been to this spa several times and have had a good experience until today. I reserved a one hour massage online for $60. Upon arrival, as usual, you pay before service. The woman told me that the tip would be $20. I assumed she meant 20% so I asked and she said "no $20" so $80? This has never been the case before plus they haven't even given me the massage. I offered $75 since I would have given $72. She said "no". So I left! Short sighted given there was no one else there and I had already booked for an hour. Only a $5 difference but it comes down to good business and it certainly didn't feel good. read more

Goal is to get paid like a 5-star spa, but provide a 1-star service. - No robe or gown to wear as other spas give you before facial begins. - Owner was busy with calls and clients, and she was also doing my facial quite roughly as if she is making a pizza dough out of my face. - She was not gentle with the face massage; not calm like other spas around. - She also blatantly asked me for tip even before the facial began, and once again after that. - Customer service is poor; quite unprofessional with clients after facial is done. - Not worth $60 for 30 minutes. - Materials used are good. This is gem of a spa with a masseuse who really knows her business. This is not a typical spa as Joanna also does hair and other beauty related treatments. But, don't be fooled by the outside and the interior when you enter. She also knows DDS, an electrical treatment for sore muscles and chronic pain. My lower back was hurting and had been hurting so I decided to have her massage using the DDS machine. It's interesting how it works. Have Joanna show it to you. Joanna first did a light massage on my back focusing on the lower back and then used the DDS machine. Then, she ended the treatment session with a traditional massage. Felt great! Pain was gone. Joanna is amazing! Went back and Joanna remembered me. Gave me another great massage. Good to see her again and I'm glad she remembered me. read more

First time, I came for massage and facial. Place was beautiful and SPOTLESS. Joanna was professional and friendly. But, please stop answering the telephone while you're with a client. I've been in need of some serious tension relief, and I drive past this spa every day on my way to work. So I finally decided to stop in and try it out. I HONESTLY CANNOT tell you the last time I received SUCH an EXCELLENT deep tissue massage. I will ABSOLUTELY be going back. And the place is adorable too! read more

Came in for a walk-in, overcharged me for a massage compared to the prices listed on the website (I noticed the receipt said "custom"). Took me back in a rush and with little direction. Didn't get much tension relief at all. More like a halfhearted back rub. Two times throughout the appointment the therapist either pulled out her cell phone and started talking while massaging me with the other hand (I was trying to relax) or opened the door and began talking to someone in the hall while I was laying on the table. To make matters even worse, after the massage was over, I offered to tip and realized she overcharged me for that as well. Just a really bad experience and wouldn't go back. read more

Booked a couples massage for a relaxing anniversary gift, but did not get that experience. Joanna answered the phone throughout the entire session. She left at one point for five minutes to do something at the front desk. I have a large birthmark on my back, and I am used to people asking about it but Joanna appeared alarmed and began to insult it. She refused to touch my upper back because of it. It made me feel embarrassed and self conscious. Overall, this experience was insulting and felt the exact opposite of relaxing. read more
