The smothered chicken I ordered as a third choice was less smothered than died of old age. It looked like it had need cooked three days ago, was as hard as nails, tough as old boots and less edible than either.
Accompanied by a small portion of cold, pallid, greasy chips and an undressed salad, it was quite one of the most lame excuses for food I have seen in a long time.
Of course it was returned, but not them taken off the bill. No fuss in taking it off, but no apology, explanation or compensatory drink, chocolate or word from the manager.
