We love Rise 'n Roll bakery. We found it years ago at Farmers Market in Chicago. We love the donut holes, cheese, apple butter and granola. The moon pies are delightful as well. Coffee is tasty as well. Worth a stop if you are in the area. read more

I came here from Chicago to give this place a try. I absolutely love Amish bakery goods and food. I bought a half dozen donuts which was $10.99 for the specialty donuts. I really enjoyed the peanut butter filled doughnut which has peanut butter and marshmallow cream inside. That one was excellent. I also really liked the black raspberry cream filled, which reminds me of a black raspberry whipped cream inside. I did not like the caramel cream filled one. I think it was just a little too sweet for me. Maybe it would be OK in moderation but not the whole donut. The bakery is very nice inside they sell an assortment of everything, also have free parking and they are super friendly. They offered me a free coffee when I was in there which was very nice. I'll definitely be back! read more

I come here for cherry pie. The small cherry pie is as it's always been. The large cherry pie is different and disgusting, I couldn't eat it. I took it back and showed her the difference you can clearly see in the picture. Both pies say cherry pie on them. The owner said one was cherry filling and she refused a substitute pie!! How can both pies say cherry pie on them but the filling is different and she refuses to exchange them! I guess because they've been doing so well they think that they can just take peoples money with no recourse . I suggest you go to the cookie place right across from there. read more

Look no more for delicious donuts..even though theyre still donuts, they just taste healthier and clean...I dont even live in the state and will visit just to buy these awesome donuts! I wish they opened up a place in IL. read more

Love the donuts. Customer service severely lacking. I placed an order in the evening last Friday for pickup shortly before they closed. I did not make it in time before they closed, and went to my party empty handed. That's on me. But when I asked if I could get donuts another day, or a discount, or anything at all I was told no. It's not like they held product all day that would've sold- I called them about an hour before close. So they would've sold old donuts the next day or tossed a couple packages. But no, they can't do anything for me but thank me for the 50 bucks I've donated now to the bakery. That's frustrating. What happened to looking after people? Can't wait until Stan's opens up here close by! read more

I'm in love with this Schererville location. There are so many donut options here! The store was open, well lit, clean, and the employees were super nice. The donuts were beyond delish, and compared to the experience I had at their Valpo location a few days later, I will definitely go to this location as my preferred location next time I am in town. read more

Everything is delicious. My favorite is the cherry pie, it's so good and full of cherries. The crust is crispy and delicious!

Excellent Amish bakery right behind Houlihan's. Freshly baked luscious pastry. Nothing skimpy here. Fabulous bakery. Large selection of Amish jams, jellies, pickles and noodles and much more. I haven't seen a bakery this good looking in a long time. Highly recommended. read more

How can you go wrong with Amish traditional methods? This reminds me of what Dunkin was in its infancy. The choice of baked items are amazingly crafted. Other items throughout appear to have the same passion filled effort to bring forth to sell. read more

All week I dream about the donuts here! Seriously the cinnamon caramel ring is what dreams are made of. They also have amazing cinnamon buns and beef jerky. I will probably be making the 45 min drive from the Chicago suburbs at least once a month now after discovering this amazing bakery. Do yourself a favor and go get you some of the treats from here. :) read more

Wonderful and delicious donuts and worth the price but not gluten-free and terribly sweet but indulgent if that's what you're looking for

I recently went back to this location, I downgraded my stars. Everytime I go here they are all out of product. It's poor management in my opinion. I asked about it and was told you have to come before 12 o'clock. If you only have product till 12 then maybe you should adjust your hours. If I were managing, I would continuously increase my order on all days until I ran out closer to closing time. I told the manager, I love the product but I hate coming to their store because it's a big let down to come there to empty shelves. read more

I hate to betray Munster donuts as the region standard but the donuts from rise'n roll are the kinda that magically disappear. While everyone raves about the caramel ones, a plain glazed donut is where it's at. No where to hide if those aren't good and these are VERY good read more

Rise n' Roll is always delicious. But their donuts are waaaaaay too rich. I think at most you could have half of one before you say no more.

I'm never disappointed with these donuts! The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is clean.

I'll say this much for the Amish...they sure do know how to make a mean donut. And cookies. And pies. And cinnamon rolls. And cheeses. And...well, you get the idea. It may be a pre-fab franchise, but the quality and attention to detail shines through and you can really taste it. Literally. Because there are multiple sample stations peppered all through the bakery for you to try almost everything on their menu like the cookies and cinnamon rolls. Feeling guilty for stuffing my face on free samples, I picked out a peanut butter filled chocolate donut. The peanut butter filling was smooth and creamy and almost too rich to finish. The chocolate was not quite as good as the ones at Firecakes, but saving me a drive to the city makes up the difference. Looking forward to trying the other things they offer like the pies and cheeses. read more

The donuts were absolutely delicious! The lady who checked us out was very kind and let us take our time to pick what we wanted. They also have lovely seating area as well as well as nice music to listen to while you eat. read more

Where to start? This place is amazing, expensive, but deliciously amazing. Their doughnuts are the best you'll ever eat. I bought some and we ate them 3 days in a row, so I decided to do an experiment. I wanted to see how many days they would retain their deliciousness. After 4 days they tasted stale, after 6 days they were getting a little hard and the glaze was getting slimy, but they will never last that long. The toffee is also some of the best I've ever had. The pecan is the beat with the chocolate pecan coming in second. I will be back and I'm going to try EVERYTHING in the shop. read more

Love Rise'n Roll, and is a must every time I visit my sister in Indiana. However, this location needs their employees to be trained on customer service. The employees are rude, and acted like we were inconveniencing them. This isn't the first time either I've experience bad customer service from this location. read more

Their caramel cinnamon donut holes are amazing. I travel from Illinois to Indiana to get them!

Just. Great. Donuts. I don't really have a favorite because they are all so great. The service is what you would expect for a donut shop.

Yes yes yes! Ever since we moved here people have been telling us to try this place. So glad we finally did. Their wait staff wasn't the friendliest but not rude. Their donuts are amazing! No cake donuts but the glazed donut tastes better than crispy creams. We went 2 days in a row. Can't wait to try out all the other treats offered; pie, cinnamon rolls, bread. read more

I've only ever gotten delivery from this place via uber eats but I have to say it's always been amazing! My family's favorites include the pecan buns and the apple fritters. Everything is so fresh no mater what time of day you order but I will say the most selection is if you go before noon. This place will be a staple in my family for years to come! read more

I purchased honey wheat bread, a blueberry pie and lemon cookies. The bread and the pie were outstanding. The cookies tasted like fruit loops which I didn't care for but their quality was great, just not my taste. Wonderful experience! The woman at the register was super caring and lovely. It was my first time there and I bought two packages of cookies. One was chocolate and the other was lemon. I took them to a party and everyone loved them. I live far away, yet was in the neighborhood and found them online. I also bought a donut and it was super fresh and yummy.
