Kinective Fitness in El Paso is where fitness, fun, and a little bit of bougie all collide in the best way possible. This place is more than a gym -- it's a two-story-plus-rooftop experience that somehow manages to feel upscale and welcoming. Think boutique hotel vibes meet high-tech wellness playground. Let's start with the first floor: it's stunning. The aesthetic is modern, spacious, and designed with intention -- every detail feels thought out. The front desk team was so friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in (even when I had a little misunderstanding about my visit -- more on that later). There's a healthy café right by the entrance serving smoothies and food that fits every lifestyle, including vegan options. They even have a secret door that leads to a massage therapist's suite -- yes, an actual hidden door. There's also a retail section stocked with Lululemon and gym swag, so if you forget something, they've got you covered. Parents, take note -- there's also an on-site kids' daycare on the first floor, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. This is also where you'll find The Trip, and honestly, this alone makes the membership worth it. The Trip is a next-level immersive cycle class -- think virtual-reality-meets-spin-studio. You ride through projected worlds on enormous screens, and it's all synced to music and visuals. The bikes are smooth, and the tech setup is seriously impressive. You even check in via small digital screens before class. That said, my only real miss came during The Trip. As a first-time guest, I didn't get any help setting up my bike, and the instructor didn't acknowledge new riders. Thankfully, another member helped me out -- shoutout to friendly gym people everywhere -- but I wish someone had guided me through that first experience. It's a small thing that makes a big difference, especially in a high-end gym like this. After class, I met Jeff, the general manager, who gave me a full tour -- and he was phenomenal. Super professional, friendly, and passionate about the space. He explained how every class syncs to your Connective app, showing your heart rate and stats in real-time on giant projectors (unless you choose to opt out). It's all very tech-forward, which I love. They do not have anything bolted into the ground which is incredibly unsafe. Also the towel policy is ridiculous. They claim to use 100% alcohol which is why they make everyone use a towel on benches. Regardless of if you are using the bench. You can be doing lateral raises a foot from the bench and the owner will approach you to ask where your towel is. Also 100% alcohol would evaporate too quickly to be effective if they really are using it. Maybe it's just not my kind of gym. I'm more CrossFit and it's more bodybuilder but still. Workout equipment is a mix of older pieces; however, you can tell they've been adding newer equipment into the mix which is super nice. Seems like management is taking the time to do a makeover of some sort. My only (small gripes) is that I wish they had a towel service, even if it was an added service; and the men's bathroom area has a distinct smell that wafts in the air that seems to be due to plumbing. All in all, this is a solid workout spot as I find myself in El Paso over the weekends and on holiday breaks.

I recieved a friendly reminder that my membership was expiring and that I had two days to renew so that I an keep my old yearly rate as I had done the last two years. I called to pay my membership and was told that I could not because I received the email from an associate that no longer worked there. I felt that they should've honored this arrangement as had been the case the last two years. He simply said, too bad for you now your rate will be $150.00 extra if you want to join. Wow, no integrity on their part. A company that will not stand by their own company emails, in my opinion will, will stand for nothing including their own members. Sorry, this was a big dissappointment from Anytime Fitness. I also understand this specific gym in privately owned. Stay away from this location unless you want to get burned.

It's a nice looking spacious club (2 stories high) and bigger than it looks on the outside. The 1st floor had weights (machines and free weights. They also have a sauna in the women's locker room and an aqua jet massage room. The daycare is also on the 1st floor and the highest monthly plan includes childcare for 2 hours (18+months and older). The 2nd floor has cardio machines, and a room for women specifically, which was pretty cool. There were separate classrooms for yoga/Zumba, cycling, HIIT classes with rowing and stair machines, and a class for boxing with equipment. All in all it's a pretty good value for the prices. $10/mo per person for just access to the gym $44/mo per person for the highest level with classes and childcare But if you have insurance, you might be able to enroll into their Active and Fit or Silver Sneakers plan and it drops it to $25/mo per person. They're open M-Thu 5am-midnight, Friday 5am-10pm, Sat 8am-7pm, Sun 9am-7pm I'm hoping to get them to host another free trial with childcare for moms in the morning time to try them out next quarter...stay tuned!
