So, I go back. Sat in the front area... again... no one came out to acknowledge me. This was in a Saturday morning a few weeks ago. I've canceled my membership. I will say, the trainers are great (Raul and Abe especially). My big issue is that clinic. It's hit or miss if the guy Adrian is even there (and I am not referring to their holiday scheduling). Seriously.. you guys only have ONE person doing your shots, really?? How many times do people need to show up, and... oh Adrian left or didn't come in that day. They really need to have a backup person at the clinic as that guy seems very unreliable. That "doctor" they have there one day a week... he needs to learn customer service skills seriously. What a rude man he is. He seems overly curious about a patient's sex life too; made me extremely uncomfortable. If the "clinic" experience was like the personal trainer experience is, it would be a winning combination. read more

At the beginning of this year I had a five star review up for Biomextrix. They used to be an excellent company but I have absolutely changed my mind about them. This is my warning to those who might be considering using their services and even their customers who have been there for years like I have. As I mentioned above I have been going to Biometrix for years and had nothing but excellent service and paid a set cost each month without any hiccups. Unfortunately about a month ago I received an very odd and in my opinion unscrupulous bill for close to a thousand dollars from their lab provider for a regular blood test which I have done with Biometrix regularly every few months for years. You can imagine my surprise as I had never received a lab bill separately from my normal subscription cost with them and this bill was so large for a single blood test. I called Biometrix but was never able to talk to someone about what we going on with this random bill and I never received a call back on this. I assumed they had cleared it up and all was well. Unfortunately as of this month I am getting collections calls for close to a thousand dollar billing which I absolutely dispute. This new billing method and lab change was never disclosed to me, approved by me, or in line with any of my experiences or bills from my years at Biometrix. The billing for this is not only in my opinion ridiculous but also in my opinion usurious and deceptive. I caution anyone from getting a blood test here as you may end up in the same situation with close to a thousand dollar bill for services appearing from thin air. Unfortunately the staff was of no help resolving this issue when I called this morning. In my opinion these are unscrupulous practices and Biometrix has fallen from the excellent company it was before. The trainers are very good, extremely knowledgeable with the training programs. I have been exercising most of my life but have never looked and felt this good before. Will highly recommend! read more

Thursday marked the 3 month point since my wife and I started on our path to getting back in shape at Biometrix. Results are in (had my quarterly physical results). I have lost 3% percent body fat, 3 points better on VO2 testing, 50 lb. gain on bench, 150 lb. gain on squats, and 3 inches off the belly. Not to mention that my cholesterol (and just about all of my other labs) dropped back to normal ranges. Feeling good, looking better. This place is great, The staff is fantastic, with a very personal touch. It isn't cheap, but my health is worth the expense. read more

Nice Staff, professional and knowledgeable. I am giving them 3 stars because of the cost and fees that seem to appear that you were not expecting. $300 to have your blood drawn and consultation..then your insurance charges you. $55 a month...etc. It just piles up. I called to get an appointment the person who I spoke to was short and not friendly at all and he is the owner. I went in for the initial interview and everything seemed better. I continued and as I got the first interview with the doctors which was fenomenal, by the way. Very friendly and explained your health very well (hormonal, protein etc). However, everything seemed good, I had barely paid for my monthly fees and got another appointment from the dietician to see me in a week to see if the diet was good for me or adjust it. I got the last appointment due to the fact that I work far. When I got there no one new where the owner was, he is the dietician and couldn't get a hold of him. It's been a month and I haven't gotten a call back explaining the reason behind the unknown appointment cancellation and I even called him to try to get a response and haven't heard from him since. I sent an email trying to cancel and it's been about four days and haven't heard from him either and I got the monthly charge and now I'm trying to get my money back. Worst customer service ever!!! I am a person that exercises at least five days a week and takes health and fitness serious. This was very disappointing, because we don't have a lot of choices here in El Paso to go to the next level on your fitness and health journey. read more

Listen, I'm in professional career Law Enforcement, and as you may or may not know, you can easily run your health into the ground. Where I am not the most extreme case of this, I was starting to feel like crap. Poor diet and shift work had taken its toll. This place has really helped me and more than a handful of co-workers, turn our lives around. It's been hard getting back into the saddle of healthy living, but with Biometrics, it has become easier.
