Was sent a message that my dog needed extra vaccine so concerned I called the vet long story shot he is to old to have needed it that's why they had not sent me a reminder so then I get another request from the kennel that he needs another shot meanwhile I just left vets office. Which is very hard to get into and cost a lot of money. So the lady I was talking to just kept running me around with such a flipped attitude like it was no big deal. The vet kept telling he does not need it and I kept telling her in order to board him they said he needs it all together my dog just got the wrong shot for nothing. And then had the nerve to call after we just Left the vet and said he needed a different shot. What? And with it being last minute I have been unable to find another boarder. I really hate when good business let 1 person ruin the whole operation.

I recently…read moreadopted my fur baby from the shelter upstairs and consequently informed 3 days later via a Facebook post that there was a distemper outbreak at said shelter and the vets office. My baby has been experiencing a runny nose, coughing, and gasping for air. The vet gave me an antibiotic for her as they believed it was either a URI or irritation from the intubation tube where she got spayed on Monday the 16th. They told me to give her these meds only at breakfast and dinner. PLEASE NOTE: She is a 2 MONTH 2 week old puppy. When it was dinner time, I handed my husband one of her pills and told him to give it to her, as this is not his first dog and I wanted a visual on how to give it to her so I don't mess up. Before he got up I read the bag that the medicine came in to make 100% sure we were giving it the right way. PLEASE NOTE: She was prescribed doxycycline. This is an antibiotic. Instead the packaging said that it was MELOXIDYL. A non steroid anti inflammatory medication used to treat arthritis. This was also meant to go to a domestic longhair CAT named Crucio. My PUPPY is a black lab mix. Because of the instructions, I wasn't aware of this mistake until 7:30pm, which is after hours. Luckily she did not receive any of this medication. I tried to call them at 8am, the time that on their website, their google page, and their Facebook say they open and they never answered. I tried calling for 10 minutes. I even had my husband start calling them as well starting at 8:07-8:10. They also never answered him. Yes, the medication in the bag are capsules, however due to the improper mislabeled packaging, I do not feel comfortable giving this to her as I have absolutely no clue what this is and if this is even what they prescribed her. Due to this, I do not feel comfortable with returning to this vet other than give them the medication back, and I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else for your vet needs as if they can do this to a puppy, they can do it to your baby as well. I had just spent a whole lot of money on the Christmas holiday and had $664 left to spare for my cat to receive help. As I explained to Dr Leadman that I would be paid in a week from work again, if there were anything else past the 664 I was able to pay that day then I would gladly pay the remainder of the bill in a week. I was immediately shot down and they made sure the bill came out to exactly $664. Well then a front desk staff member called me to ask if my cat was any better and I told her he was not. She said she would note that on my chart for Dr Leadman but she knew that I had said that I didn't get paid for a week. Well would you believe that down to the exact day that following week. DR LEADMAN calls and leaves a voicemail to check in and see how things are going and if my cat wasn't doing any better then "I may want to bring him back in for another exam and maybe some more x-rays." I would have more respect for that voicemail had she came right out and just said "We know you got your paycheck today, so come back in and we can see what amount you are willing to waste on another trip here and send you home with a cat that is still sick. BRING MONEY!!!" Like I said at the beginning of this review, most of the veterinary care that my pets received here was great, Dr. Dascolli was amazing and several other experiences there were also fine, but to bleed anyone down to the exact dollar amount they tell you they have to spare AND send them and their pet home still sick and suffering, THEN call back "to check in" the day that you know there is more money that you can possibly rip them off for? That's despicable and enough for me to never return there again for any reason. Lesson learned!

Trusting these people I didn't think anything of it until I go to take the collar off and she has an open sore around her neck from the collar. I called the vet, upset as anybody would be, and I was met with no apology. I was then hung up on by the front desk clerk or whoever took the phone from her. I would never take my animals here again, especially with how they handled their mistake.
