I forgot I put 2 Lindor truffles in my pocket. I called my vet in Arizona. They weren't terribly concerned, but my dog's breathing was getting heavier and he was whining. I stopped at the Visitor Center and did a Yelp search. Valley West was close and had great reviews. They were so kind to have a vet tech take a quick look, listened to his heart, checked his breathing and seemed quite confident that the amount of chocolate he ingested wasn't of concern. They did lete know he might have runny stool, but they thought that was a remote possibility. We were a walk-in visit. The kindness from everyone here was far above and beyond. I opted for the cut with the exception that the upper body hair be trimmed to half the current length. What Chico got was instead all his hair cut to ~1". Luckily I got there in time to save his tail & ears. The groomer (owner?) said that's a standard puppy cut, but when I reminded her of our discussion a couple hours before, she started making excuses, so I had to remind her a couple times of my initial request before she apologized for her mistake. She offered a 20% discount & even figured that incorrectly. Obviously no tip was given. Chico & I are both in shock. He's not the same puppy he was this morning!

Both of the women in the store were delightful and you can tell they truly show love to the dogs. There is a designated gated area for play both inside and out with water bowls, toys, beds, etc. While leaving, he was rewarded with treats. :) On top of ALL of that - they finished super fast. I was told it'd be an hour and a half to two hours & it only took an hour and twenty minutes! Thank you so much, Top Dog! I am recommending to all my friends.
