Not Ready for Prime Time!!!
We were genuinely excited when Ripple Fiber came to our neighborhood -- finally, a new player in town! Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into disappointment. From the start, it was clear the front of the office had no idea what the back was doing. While the installation itself went smoothly, the promised 2 Gbps speed only delivered 700 Mbps up and down. After a modem swap, the speed issue was resolved -- but that's where the problems really began.
We were never able to connect several wireless devices to the network, including a garage door video keypad and a relatively new smart TV. These same devices work flawlessly on our Spectrum service. Ripple sent technicians out four separate times, and not one of them could solve the issue. Their explanation? "We're still working out the kinks in the network." That's not exactly confidence-inspiring.
If Ripple Fiber isn't ready for prime time, they shouldn't be charging customers to be part of their learning curve. Get your act together before you roll out service -- or don't roll it out at all.
