IRevive told me that they would take a look inside and if they couldn't fix it there would be no charge. They repaired a capacitor on the fan circuit and replaced the battery which fixed the problem 100%. Instead of paying thousands for a new macbook, I spent less than $500 to fix my existing one. It runs as good as new. These folks know how all those tiny components on your apple circuit boards work, and they know how to fix them. They are kind and honest. He responded within 10 minutes, told me he could do it, what it would cost and said it would take 40 minutes, no appointment needed. He was close by, and his quote was much better than several others. Took it by, dropped it off, ran an errand or two and when I returned about 30 minutes late, it was done.
