I would recommend that future customers read carefully the "Color Disclaimer" section of the Owens…read moreCorning" shingle literature & take some time to research their color selection. I made a snap decision on a shingle color from a small sample while talking to the TLC rep for ten minutes and have regretted that decision ever since. The TLC rep made no mention of researching the color selection so it is up to the customer to do so. To be fair the roof job went very well. All of the TLC employees were friendly, professional & showed good workmanship. I would recommend TLC to anyone but would caution them on their shingle color selection.

Stone Ridge Restoration came to my residence and performed a roof inspection. At the time of the…read moreinspection we called and created a claim with my Home Owners Insurance. From the very moment they arrived for the inspection they were not professional, an example is when their employee called my insurance company and their adjusters "dicks to work with." I was promised that he would make himself available and would be at my house while the adjuster was there to help point out the roof's damage, which is pretty standard. When I called him to let him know the adjuster appointment had been scheduled, and that it was at 8:00am the next day, his exact response was "Damn, that's early. Uh, I guess I'll see you then" and pretty much hung up on me without any further dialogue. Because of the nature of our conversation I had a feeling that Stone Ridge Restoration would not be at our adjuster appointment. I was correct. When the adjuster arrived shortly after 8:00am, I called the Stone Ridge Employee we had been working with to see if he was on his way and there was no answer. A few minutes later my husband also called him, and he did not answer so a VM was left. Since the initial contact with Stone Ridge when they performed the inspection, and I told them when the adjuster appointment was, they have been non responsive. I called what I thought was the Company's number as it was on documentation from our inspection, and the number was disconnected and we never heard back from Chris, the employee who completed our inspection again. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone at the company, they had apologized for their employee's behavior and asked what they could to to make it right. The conversations I was having with this employee, the inspector's boss, at first seemed promising. However, as time went on, he too was being less and less responsive. We had a re-inspection scheduled for Thursday, 9/10/2020, which Stone Ridge did show up to, however no re-inspection was completed. They arrived at my residence on 9/10 to have a quick chat and tell me that something came up with a roof they were working on that day and that he had to go to the project site. He apologized again and told me he would be back in the late afternoon/early evening to get the re-inspection completed. I understand things come up, it happens to everyone. However, he did not come back on 9/10 to complete the re-inspection, and I have not heard from him, or anyone else from the company since then. It has been a headache since day one. Save yourself the headache and stress and use a company that wants your business, has updated paperwork with actual contact information, time to do their job, and has employees whom are professional and responsive. This process has been ongoing since 8/18/2020 when Chris from Stone Ridge came out for our initial assessment. Today is 9/17/2020 and we are no closer to a resolution than we were a month ago. We cannot get a hold of the company. If their time management/planning is so poorly that they cannot effectively communicate with clients, I do not know how their work and labor could be trusted as being good quality. My next stop will be the BBB.

I can not say enough good things about ACR Contracting. ACR Contracting was great to work with…read more They are reliable, honest, and operate with integrity. They went above and beyond helping me with my insurance company and fighting my cause from a wind storm and a tree falling on my roof on March 4, 2023. They relentlessly pursued my insurance company for 7 months, sent my shingles to ITEL, and requested a second adjuster from my insurance company be sent to my house for an inspection and filed a complaint with the Department of Insurance. They took the time to answer any questions I had and provided me with all options available - from repair to replacement, based on the final decision about my claim from the insurance company. ACR Contracting went through a lot with my insurance company, and I know they did a lot more for me than is required from a signed "Business Contract." There are no adequate, eloquent, or appropriate words that could represent, describe, or express the kind of review ACR Contracting deserves or should be advertised and written about in this review because they are a gift, priceless, and truly a blessing. ACR Contracting pursued my insurance company and claim, as if I were family, a friend, and not just a client. Their company is not about big business and money but family, integrity, and justice. These days, you don't find companies that will care enough to put themselves in your shoes and treat your claim as if it were their own. To be a client of ACR Contracting, you are part of a family. Their team did an excellent job on my roof. As soon as they were leaving the driveway, the compliments from my neighbors were already starting to come in. In addition, while getting a new roof, I decided this was a perfect time to replace the gutters and add facia. My home is over 65 years old, so in the future, when I move on to my next home improvement projects, I will definitely be taking advantage of their other quality services like windows and siding. ACR Contracting is celebrating 24 years of exceptional workmanship, quality, professionalism, guarantee, and service, but also is a company of honor, family values, ethics, and heart. As a woman, it can be difficult to find a Company/Contractor you can trust, so I'm very blessed and happy to have found ACR Contracting. I have recommended ACR Contracting to family and friends, and if it were possible, I would tell the world about ACR Contracting. I would never tell my family, friends, or anyone about a company unless I was sure that their results, experience, customer service, and investment would be more than they could hope, possibly imagine, or pray for. They are definitely the BEST.
